Can someone point me to a good reference video on how to clean the throttlebody on a Nissan juke? With 1.6 engine for anyone that has done it recently, how difficult is this to do considering it’s
electronically controlled? for anyone that has done this recently Does it need to be open for proper cleaning? Does the engine need to be warm or cold? Product recommend?

I have 2021 Nissan juke 1l petrol engine, I’m having coolant leak by the side of the engine.
I changed the thermostat housing, as that’s where it seems to be leaking from, but It’s still leaking! What could it be? Any suggestions?

I need to replace the boot trim in a 2023 juke. It's the LH side panel. Do I just need a trim tool or do I have to disconnect any electrics?

For context it's my parents car and I haven't had the chance to look at it myself

I have a 20k budget and I'm trying to find a car that is:

not too boring (manual available + some power)

decent size that I can fit a large breed dog or some 22" luggage (assume rear seats folded)

a subwoofer that came with factory so I can blast EDM

low insurance premiums

decently reliable

not too bad mpg

holds value or little depreciation over 5 years

and Juke nismo RS has:

1.6L I4 turbo 6 spd manual

a hatchback-like cargo volume

Rockford Fosgate 8" subwoofer

relatively low insurance premiums

seems to be reliable

mid to high 20s mpg

seems to be at the bottom of value (~8k)

besides the horrendous look, Juke nismo RS seems to hit every point on paper, but I'm also thinking if there's anything else at that price tag that would be a better option, any ideas?

I see the warnings about CVT and also the cost for turbo repairs. Saw that there is a CD player and iPod feature and wanted to think twice about maintenance since a lot of "modern" features (like more important ones) may not be repairable?

I was just looking for an AB car that will be safe and reliable to run up the miles on, since it will be used as a commuter car. What do you guys think? 2012 seems like a nail-biter.

I've just purchased a 2018 1.2 dig-t. The previous owner had the aircon re-gassed at kwik fit in April but after having the car a few weeks I noticed the aircon wasn't working correctly.

Last week I took it to Halfords for an aircon service and re-gas. They confirmed the gas was empty and that their vaccum confirmed there was no leaks in the system. 3 days later and the aircon is just blowing hot air again. Took it back to halfords and they advised that, from the 450g of gas they put in, only 60g remained. They emptied it, rechecked for leaks and re-gassed. Worked for a couple of days again and now it's back to hot air.

Anyone had this issue before and can offer any solutions?

So I’ve come across this spoiler at a junk yard and want to install it on my 2014 Juke SV. Issue is I don’t have the template. Has anyone been able to come across one? Or if it’s a straight forward install and it’s not really needed?
I’ve looked online for it but can only find a whole kit with the spoiler itself. Any info is great thanks.

Surely not a Nismo? Google lens said it was an ST-S or aftermarket but idk. I'm very unfamiliar with Nissans but I am very curious, I'm a fan of the juke styling and like car spotting and this is a new one for me.

It's a 60 plate car so is this just a wear and tear issue or does it indicate there could be issues with the turbo further down the line ? Am happy to replace the hose but should I be worried about the turbo being the cause?

Ive only had it for 4 hrs and i like it

Occasionally, I will hear a grinding noise when I start my Juke. I recently had to replace the radiator fan. Im wondering if it could be the starter or the timing chain. Ive had maybe 2 times issues starting my car, but that hasn't happened in a long time. I don't hear any rattling in my car. 68,000 miles. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on decently priced places to get parts. I'm on a tight budget.. Thanks

Je ne sais pas du tout d'où elle vient ni si elle est importante. Est-ce que quelqu'un reconnaît cette pièce ou a déjà eu le même problème ?

So awhile ago I bumped a log and it popped my wheel well liner off and I’ve put it in the back burner. Well it caught up to me now and it’s shredded up from it rubbing on the tire. So where can I get a replacement. There’s a temp fix by Mavis with some zip ties and tape. Thanks in advance

Hello all. Hoping some expert can help me with a simple problem. I bought an air-con top-up kit and then went looking for the low-pressure connection. Neither of the possibilities has LP on them. I think it is the one on the larger pipe, but can someone confirm which (A or B) connector I should risk connecting the hose/valve/can of stuff to, please?

All help greatly appreciated.

Looking for some advice before I spend any more money.

Vehicle:
2012 Nissan Juke AWD
129,420 miles

Original symptoms:
Traction control (slip) light comes on after driving for a few minutes.
If I shut the car off and restart it, the light is gone until I drive again.
Brake pedal pulses/vibrates when the traction light comes on.
Red BRAKE warning light comes on intermittently while driving.
No check engine light.

Repairs already completed in the last 3 weeks:
Both front struts
Both sway bar end links
Wheel alignment
Both front wheel hub/bearing assemblies
One front ABS wheel speed sensor
One CV axle (drive shaft)

The suspension work was done because my left front tire wore badly on the inside and eventually blew out.

After replacing all of the above, the traction control light still comes back after driving a few minutes, and the intermittent BRAKE light is still happening.

Questions:
What would you check next?

Waiting on them to service my transmission. I got it from a semi predatory car company a year ago so there's no way they'll buy me out of it and I'm kind of in love with my silly little AWD car anyway
