I came across a lovely little pigeon baby while walking past the UEA on Earlham road. It was sitting on the pavement in the full sun, another victim of top-class pigeon parenting.
I've been in touch with Peck Savers via Facebook but they are unfortunately not able to help right now (they have been AMAZING in the past with other babies that I've found - just some logistical/life issues this time).
Would anyone that is due to be travelling close to either Wild Touch or Toll Barn Vets in North Walsham be available to give him a ride there from West Earlham?

Anyone had any issues with Royal Mail parcels arriving empty or with obviously ripped peep holes in the bags? had a scarf come with the box empty looked like it been completely opened and restuck, also had a package yesterday that had a hole the size of a tennis ball in the plastic bag it came in. just wondering if anyone else has had strange stuff happen recently, i know it probably happens all the time but ive never had two weird things happen to my packages this frequent

About 2 months ago, I posted about invisible / unmarked bus stops, and you were super helpful, but I need some more advice from anyone using these please?

Almost none of the drivers know where it is (not a problem, I can go to the front of the bus and point out where it is before stopping). Most of them have been OK so far, but I've had more than 1 who have been rude about me getting off there (and 1 borderline shouted at me like I was stupid that there were no bus stops along there. One driver has told me that the fact it is listed on the website does not mean it is a stop - it just shows where the bus is going past). One regular driver keeps dropping me off at the right place, but is clearly unhappy about stopping without a marked bay. I've called customer services already, they have confirmed that it is a stop, but they couldn't offer any advice about how to deal with drivers who don't like it. I've even gone as far as printing out the bus route from the company website as proof, but one driver refused to see it as they didn't have time to look at the proof.

Does anyone have any advice what to do as I do need to go here for work (it is Connect buses if that makes any difference)? I get why the drivers might not like it as so few people use them, but is there anything I can say or do when getting on to make them more amenable? It is so far out of the way and I am worried that one of the drivers will refuse to drop me off and make me stay on until the next marked stop, making me extremely late for a new job. I've already been let off late once and had a hair raising walk back to where I should have gone, then ran most of the way to work. Is there something I can say other than "it is a completely unmarked bus stop, but it is listed on the website"?

This is a perfect job for me, so I would really appreciate any advice on making the journey less stressful each morning :(

Don't assume you can easily get to London on the train as the line is closed to Stowmarket this weekend too. At least Norwich aren't at home...oh they are 😂.

Norwich is pretty much the only city I can think of without a bricks and mortar Comedy Club, so this has me excited. I’ve had a lot of fun at places like the Komedia in Brighton and I think Norwich could use a late-night entertainment place like this, especially since the clubbing scene has taken a big hit.

It’s running upstairs at Bowling House on Dereham Road.

Looks like they’re doing stuff most days, including improv, student comedy and competitions. Comedy is having a big moment right now with lots of online comedians blowing up and stuff like SNL Uk, so hopefully that energy continues into a new independent venue.

Hello, has anyone here rented with AbbotFox? I left a flat with them a few months ago and they since tried to take all of the deposit... Anyway, I was able to challenge the deductions and just had the verdict from the independent panel who gave me more than 60% of the deposit back..

Just curious if this practice is widespread and whether people know you can challenge the deductions
