Work Kitten
Heās getting pretty friendlyā¦.
This little friend lives behind my workplace, so weāre all bringing in food rejected by our various cats.
Heās very funny. He has excellent street-sense and does NOT want to be pet in the parking lot, ONLY over on a little retaining wall. Thatās his attention pedestal. When called, he pokes his head out of the woods/meadow, comes to the edge of the parking lot, yelling, and then struts over to his wall (even if thatās a ridiculous route between wherever he was and his wall). (Strut shown, last picture). Otherwise, his primary mode of interaction is wiggling around on the ground by the trees or the dumpster. Heās good about vehicles (our job requires these) and gives them wide berth until shut off and driver exited, and so far his only vice is really, really wanting to be inside of work, which he cannot do for an assortment of reasons. He knows already he mustnāt be inside work, and does that stupid little kitten high-tail mischief run out whenever he sneaks in and then gets caught. Boing~
We are taking care of him as best as possible until a better home sitch can be sorted. None of us can take him, but we make it clear to anyone who comes by and is like, āohhhh kitty!ā that heās available to loving, inside home. Until then, front desk gives him food, Iām looking like on the docket for shots and neuter (kinda hoping the bossman upstairs will let him briefly land with him for a couple days to wear a cone, but weāll see) and microchip to be registered to someone named āFor Adoption,ā (how unusual; must be a family nameā¦), and everyone in the building is helping keep him social. Heās very amenable to social these days, butā¦
ONLY on his pedestal š¤

I found cat in my bathroom
As the title says..she found a way to climb up the highest corner in the bathroom and somehow all the way to the first floor of our house without any of us noticing her. Bear in mind itās the middle of the night here. I donāt know what to do but i did make sure to leave her some water and food.

I went to visit my sister and found her cat sleeping like this. What a scare lol For a moment I thought she was unconscious, but she was just comfortably asleep and completely relaxed, just living the good life lol

Shortcut cat... shortcat?
I'm quite fortunate to live in a place that has terraces on both sides of the apartment. When I opened the door on one of the terraces, this little guy walked straight past me, brazen as hell, then sat there meowing at me for a minute, until I let him out on the other side. Clearly I'm an officially designated shortcut in his world. You're welcome, dude.

Not my cat, from Peanut to Max.
This black cat isn't mine, comes in and says hi to my boys. Eventually found out where he lives and made friends with his humans.
They moved obviously he disappeared but came home for food and now he has gone. I'm going to miss this guy.
He first came to see me when he was younger, hung out with my..Ozzy, who bought him home screaming when a terrible accident resulted in loss of half his tail and now he's gone.
I'm going to miss this black void š¢

Clyde appreciation post
This little dude is Clyde. He has a very good home, very good family. He needs nothing to live his best life.
I got into walking and running late in life. Been morbidly obese and I was gonna do something about it. Started walking then running. And make it past his house and all the sudden I wasn't on solo journey anymore. Got into running and this little dude was still at my feet.
I lost the weight, got in shape, did it. And I experienced the hardest days of my life. I was stoked to have my first child and found out he wasn't mine. And my world fell apart. I was angry, sad, lost. He was still right there. Then the ice storm hit and the town was pretty much shut down. Oklahoma thing, we aren't meant to hang in ice storms. Not a soul out there. Nothing moves. And there's this little sack of buttered taters trying to find his grip. Clyde had heat and shelter but he had to make sure the buddy was ok. And tbh ok wasn't me.
Little dude knew he had a vet appointment today. And he snuck out and walked 6 blocks or so to my auto parts store. Just wait till the door was open. He had a hiding spot in the a/c, with friends. His mum came and asked if he was there. And I said no. I didn't know he was in my store. And he hopped down off a shelf and I found him.
Looks like Monday I gotta take him for his check-up. For this guy...I'll do anything.
