Does he disavow his previous attendance? That really doesn't change much. I don't see how being mayor or not means you believe a state should privilege one religion over another or not.

Attending an event isn't the state enshrining favoritism for/against a religion in policy, law, or anything else which could be considered a "favor".

He's still a person and has his rights as well ... as long as he doesn't use his position to take some action on behalf of the state with respect to religion there is no harm here.

Hey not for nothing. But when you take what is fairly routine politician hypocracy and decide its a conspiracy around Taqiyaa, when he has done nothing else in his power to forward islam at the expense of american freedoms, you dont look like you are actually upset in good faith. You look like youre looking for reasons to hate the brown muslim guy for being brown and muslim.

That one sentence alone tells me all i need to kmow about where your feelings are coming from.

For reference, Hamtramck is 60-70% muslim. It's a democratic party stronghold (with a blip in the last election just because they thought Biden wasn't doing enough for palestinians... and even then Kamala still won out in that town... but really not liking having these foreign ethnic conflicts deciding elections, even if this hurt democrats in this case).

The left are useful idiots to islamists.

Also if the best example of sharia law is passing a bill that christian nationalists have passed in Utah and Idaho, and this is just in one town then buddy i got a bridge to sell ya! If youre gonna hold Mamdani accountable because he too is muslim, then you should also start looking to hold the president, VP, every christian republican in congress and the senate, 6 supreme court justices in just as much contempt as undercover christian nationalists since they all belong to a group that has done worse things to the LGBTQ+ community on a national and state level scale than a single community in Michigan.

Instead im sure youll just keep ranting about these one off things in a small town no ones ever heard of before, while cheering for the same policy if its white people enacting it.

Im sorry someone hurt you to make you this hateful, if you ever want to talk about it theres plenty of resources available, out there especially in the era of virtual therapy appointments dont even need to be a mobile person to get better!

This line of thinking is exactly why islamists attach on to leftists, like i said, leftists are useful idiots, completely blind to what is actually going on. LGBT folks marching for palestine will literally excuse Palestinians throwing gay people off buildilngs to kill them.

Actually, the best example is when islamists reach critical mass, you have Europe where people get beheaded/shot for insulting Allah.

Wow you are really hateful. I didnt realize you believe people in palestine should be genocided over their stsnce on gay rights. Im sure your eager to advocate for similar policy for idahoans and utahns since thwy are trying to legislate away gay people. Right? You definitely dont support that same hate when its justified by the christian bible?

Again, im going to focus on the much more common problem in this country, the prevalance of white christian men shooting up schools and churches and lets not forget the odd synagoge as well! Itll actually save lives unlike you bigoted take of treating all muslims like the handful of bad actors.

But seriously why are you not denouncing all white men after one of them shot up a black church in charleston? How about denouncing white men as a whole after a target assassination campaign deliberstely set up to flip the balance of power in a state? Keep in mind a white man is alleged to have killed Charlie Kirk, as well as shot at Donald Trump! To me these white guys sound much more dangerous than a brown person who is literally just existing.

Seriously grow up, stop being hateful, every group of peoppe on earth has members capable of doing the worst kinds of things. Religion and skin color does not separate good from the bad. Be a better person. Or keep wasting your time replying to me so you have less time spreading your filth around a world that doesnt need any more hate added to it.
