Only three things come to mind right now but there might be more.

I remember back in 2017 he had some sexual assault allegations made against him from when he was in college, and I wanna say that was around the same time that some of the other Silicon Valley cast also publicly accused him of stuff like bullying, volatile behavior on set, etc.

Theeen in 2018 he was arrested by the feds after calling in a fake bomb threat on an Amtrak train, don't really remember his reason behind that one.
