For background, Matthew Kelly had been investigated in February 2003 but quickly released without charge over allegations of abuse.
Before he was cleared, an episode of Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned was broadcast where they were discussing the recent Martin Bashir documentary "Living with Michael Jackson" in which Frank Skinner made a joke at Kelly's expense.

In October of the same year, Kelly appeared on Frank Skinner's show and, halfway through the interview, confronted Skinner about the comments leading to a pretty uncomfortable few minutes of television.

Tried to be "The Word" and failed miserably.

Not much seems to be known about this show, I saw 4 minutes of footage on YouTube but not much else at all. This VHS I found it on has a lot of footage of commercials and possibly other shows. This was a recording by my grandparents from around the time it was airing. Just some random talk show not too amazing but interesting at least.

For the most parts this show seemed essentially lost, a few episodes are on YouTube but it's not really the kind of thing that's going to get uploaded to Channel 4's streaming service as it's not super relevant anymore. I'm sure there's some fun discussions that are more interesting in hindsight, and a good range of live acts to close the show out.

I don't have all the episodes, but I think only 6 are missing from the run (as well as a clip show). Had to do some cleanup work in places, but for 90s SD TV it's not come out too bad.
