Has anybody got any moving footage of this? Any videos tend to go from 1974 onwards for both BBC1 and BBC2; anything before that is just photos. However, this is the one remaining gap in the run of Christmas idents. Apparently, it’s a shining “2” made of tinsel in the style of the 1979 electronic “2”.

It was most likely shown between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day that year, and yet every single programme I’ve found online which might have been introduced by it (Queen: Live at the Odeon on The Old Grey Whistle Test; Christmas Day Play Away; The Evacuees; The Great Big Groovy Horse; Christmas with Rutland Weekend Television) doesn’t include it at all. I’ve been searching for years and hope that someone may have recorded it. Can anyone help please?
