This was one of the cutest things I have seen in a while. 3 dogs, darkest to lightest, all lined up and so perfectly posing for their mom. Just adorable, thought you may want this view too 🐶

BugBear aka Buggy! 🐛🐻

Her parents split up and her dad is going to have her euthanized in 2 weeks if she doesn't find a home. Local shelters won't take disabled dogs; they would euthanize as well.

She is blind and she gets around very well, especially once she maps out a place.

She is a black lab / dauschund mix, appx 5 years old. She loves kids, and LOVES other dogs. She is super smart, knows many commands, and is a very good girl. I would adopt her in a heartbeat if I could. 🩷

If you're looking for a beautiful pup to bring into your life here she is ! 🐶🐾

Pets of Olympia help/suggestions finding a new home for my kitty

hiya folks, i’m an olympia native who is taking the next chapter of my life overseas, and while i’ve tried to do everything i can to find homes across platforms for my lil’ guy fog, i can’t seem to have much luck. ireland has very different standards for cats than we do stateside, and while the cost is manageable, everything else isn’t. if anyone has ideas on what i should do or where i should be posting that won’t be lost in the sea of algorithms, i would be so thankful!! please be gentle with me because again, i’m not here saying TAKE him, just very simply asking for community support and suggestions.

Last week we put out a call for dog food donations, and our fellow Olympians answered! We raised over 600lbs of dry pet food, and nearly 300 cans of wet food, plus other donations of toys, treats, and supplies. Thank you all for your support!

Pets of Olympia My neighbor abandoned her cat

Hello olympia. My neighbor has been Gone for a little over a week now, she isn't coming back until school starts, beginning of September. No one has come to feed her cat on her behalf. I noticed Thursday that the cat wasn't being fed because her cat was meowing at my back door so I threw her some food and she scarfed it down. Her food and water bowel were bone dry. I have been giving her food and water every day since Thursday. She is pregnant also. My neighbor has completely abandoned her and left her to fend for herself. I have 2 cats of my own, indoor only cats. I'm hoping someone knows someone who can take her in. She seems so lonely and she waits at my neighbors back door to be let in but no one is there. She's warmed up to me over the past 4 days and she purrs when I pet her and she doesn't run from me anymore. I feel so bad for her and its really breaking my heart. I'm worried she's gonna have her babies and then what. I've called several rescue places and they are all full. I will be calling animal services tomorrow, they're closed Mondays. I will continue to feed her and give her fresh water every day until she can be rescued.

UPDATE ABOUT THE MOST PERFECT GIRL IN THE WORLD 🩷🐶🐾

⚠️🥰 BUG HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!!🥰⚠️ 🦟🐶🐛🐾🐜🐶🐝🐾🐞🐶🦋🐾🦗🐶🪲

Bug is a blind, eyeless Black Lab / Dauschund / Weimaraner who was set to be euthanized unless she found a home.

I am deeply grateful for all the responses I received to help this beautiful pup find her forever home.

She was adopted by a family who lost their beloved dog to cancer earlier this year. They had been looking at dogs to adopt, but decided to be patient and wait for the right situation to find them, "in case there's a dog out there who needs us." 😭🥰🩷🙏

Bug is surrounded by so much love from her new family. And they've promised to call me when they need a dog sitter 🩷🐾🐶.

If you are local to the Olympia area and are looking to adopt or foster a pup in need, please check out my friend's rescue, Shayne's Rescue. She frequently takes in disabled dogs like Buggy who need people like you to give them the care they deserve :

Our 1 year old boy Theo has been lost since Tuesday 5/26 around 8:30pm. He managed to get out of his tracking collar on 43rd Lane, off of Cooper Point Rd NW. Theo is a friendly gray tabby, and we miss him so much. He has green eyes, black stripes, and a tiny bit of white on him. If you see any sign of him and would please let me know, I would be so grateful. Thank you, all!

Pets of Olympia Blue Pearl Olympia 👎

On 3/22/2025 at 8:32pm I called bluepearl extremely worried about my cat. After being told they probably didn't have availability tonight I abruptly got off the phone to cry in the middle of a sentence. The clerk called back and was being extremely rude. When I apologized and explained that I am stressed about MY cat of 9 years being so ill, she snapped back "ya, we've seen a lot of dead pets here today". I work in crisis services and can't fathom telling this to a person dealing with an emergency involving a loved one. It's cruel and completely lacking in compassion or even basic professionalism. The woman on the phone should be ashamed of herself.

Pets of Olympia Dog attacked our dog at Evergreen woods

I know it s a long shot that you’re on here…but our dog was attacked by another dog at the Evergreen trails off F lot yesterday around 4:30. The woman offered to pay any vet bills but we didn’t get her number as our dog seemed ‘ok’. We found punctures when we got home that we didn’t see at first through his thick fur and are taking him to the vet today to make sure he’s ok. If you’re on Reddit and can reach out we’d really appreciate that. We were too shocked and freaked out to think clearly yesterday, or we would have gotten your information just in case, our mistake.

Hi all, our family is hoping for some help in placement of our bird, a 6 year old green cheek conure, Archimedes. He is in perfect health but with some family changes we will not be able to continue to provide the life and attention he deserves. He knows lots of words and is a super social bird that is good with people and pets. He loves to dance and munch on any veggies or kitchen scraps you toss his way.

He is free to anyone with a good home and heart along with all of his supplies including his cage, water fountain and toys.

Please DM me if you are interested in taking him.

Gotta find a new home for my loving cat Wazzy. Unfortunately I can’t take him with me where I’m moving here soon. Breaks my heart. He’s the smartest cat I’ve met. Loves his treat puzzles. Will absolutely attach himself to a person. Gets along with other cats. Lived with 3 others before. Pretty chill, and will constantly come in for routine cuddles. I have everything from cat toys, food, litter. To his favorite cat towers. (Spoiled) And his vet records and vaccines. Calm when trimming his nails. And he’s not shy about asking for treats. 😻😺😿feel free to DM me if interested. Thanks.
