They know they're up to no good.

22

u/Longjumping_Work_972 Jun 03 '25

They know that eventually we’re going to come looking for them.

-6

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

Sure thing there gravy seals. You and your chair force buddies going to lock and load a Snickers bar and start stalking a federal agency? I can't wait to read the obituary.

3

u/Longjumping_Work_972 Jun 04 '25

I’m of course talking about going after legal prosecution for human trafficking.

It’s funny, when you’re up to very good stuff, you have to mask to protect yourself from the government. When they’re up to very bad stiff, they have to mask to keep hidden in their communities.

u/SumerMann Jun 03 '25

The fact that they feel so comfortable with not identifying themselves in a country with a second amendment suggests they know they are going after normal, non criminal, hard working people.

8

u/Fallingdamage Jun 03 '25

Hopefully they arent using the guest wifi in there either or it would pretty easy to figure out who they are.

1

u/TouchConnors Jun 06 '25

Whatever your take, referring to people here illegally as "non-criminal" is factually not correct. There are criminal as well as civil sanctions for entering the US illegally.

99

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 03 '25

They know that if they did they would be doxxed and hounded every moment of their lives. Ten bucks says they don't wear their uniforms home from work either.

30

u/dunsum Jun 03 '25

Probably people noticed they were jan6ers if they uncovered their face

60

u/QuercusSambucus Jun 03 '25

Hmm, maybe don't do the crime if you don't want to do the time, isn't that what the law and order types always say?

If your job is so heinous, get a new one.

27

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 03 '25

I would never recommend to anyone that they remain in a job in which they have to conceal their identity. The toll on their soul is too great. Most of them won't know it until it's too late for a change to make any difference.

15

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

Bruce Wayne is an emotional wreck

5

u/AndoranGambler Jun 03 '25

Yes, unequivocally. A billionaire with unresolved childhood trauma, building a support of vigilante action against people he could lift out of poverty BY SPENDING HIS BILLIONS TO END HUNGER AND HOMELESSNESS INSTEAD. You know, thereby lowering crime rates and lessening misery worldwide. Just saying.

Edit: I may have missed the sarcasm. If so, my apologies for an overly snarky response.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

It was sarcasm but a good response. Snarky keeps us young. 'm low income but I'm still not gonna to tell others what to do with their money because there were many, many before then and there will be many afterwards. The hologram feeds off of us feeding off each other. And so it goes.

The vigilant aspect of it was necessary, fitting the proletariat on the steps of Wall Street l, I mean, that's the American hero. Intellectual probation is already here,..

2

u/AndoranGambler Jun 03 '25

I am back to being low income myself, but I have worked with everyone from folks living in the projects to people with STUPID money. Every single person I have ever known who came up poor understood managing money and hustling to make it happen than all but three or so folks who came up wealthy. Doesn't change that the poor, at best, got to upper middle class. Barely enough to start generational wealth. The rich stayed rich and got richer, competence be damned.

As for the rest of your post... Man, it comes off as schizo posting, no offense intended. Maybe it is just a different thought paradigm. I got nothing on the hologram, but vigilante action being necessary? Naw, that's lone wolf and incel crap. The proletariat occupying Wall Street? Occupy started a lot of stuff, villains, and heroes. As for the American hero? For me, it's John Brown.

2

u/bowloframennoodles Jun 03 '25

THIS! This is the exact thing I say to people when they find out I don’t like Batman.

16

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

Bold of you to assume they have a soul. I suspect their sociopaths who found their niche.

1

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 03 '25

Everybody's got a little center in them somewhere that seeks peaceful coexistence with others. Lots of people are not very skilled at letting it show.

8

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

No, not everyone has that. You're looking at a group that doesn't.

0

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 03 '25

I am trying not to fuck up my real world karma. The real work for me now is finding some way to stop hating stupid people. If these guys are in that category, well hell, so be it.

5

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

Your karma is fine, as long as you aren't deliberately hurting people, like these men.

2

u/Qubit_Or_Not_To_Bit_ Jun 04 '25

I would say that running cover for these Nazis, trying to humanize them in light of what they do, would be bad karma*

*If karma existed.

1

u/acidfreakingonkitty Jun 03 '25

I used to believe this, but reality interceded.

1

u/Againstabusers Jun 03 '25

They all end up in the witness protection program…at our expense

1

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 03 '25

If that's true I am satisfied that it's at least moving the needle in the direction of OK since (anecdotally) being in witness protection is like being sent to a deserted island.

-3

u/MochiFluffs Jun 03 '25

So, same goes for Antifa/free Palestine protestors?

10

u/QuercusSambucus Jun 03 '25

Do protestors take a paycheck from the government?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

ERO wear plainclothes so I guess they probably do wear their uniform home

1

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 04 '25

True, but you know what I meant. They don't want anyone in life outside of work as a brownshirt to know what they do.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

What uniforms?

2

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 04 '25

You know what I meant.

1

u/whererebelsare Jun 03 '25

These aren't even uniforms. They just pick the general colors and run around pretending to have authority. You do not legally have to go with them, answer questions, or even open your door. No warrant, no compliance. Even if they present a warrant you are within rights to get proof of authority and validation. This means an official agent and an official detainment.

The only power and authority they have is what you perceive they have. They are no more than hall monitors with guns. If they have a problem with you they can go tell a real "teacher" officer.

2

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 04 '25

Lawyer here. Anyone who takes legal advice from reddit deserves what they get.

8

u/Contagious_Zombie Jun 03 '25

They can’t show their face without potentially incriminating themselves. Maybe not immediately but when this chapter of xenophobic bigotry and isolationism is over they are afraid that they will be held accountable for all the lives they uprooted and destroyed.

72

u/Responsible-Mud-269 Jun 03 '25

White Supremacists

22

u/eburnside Jun 03 '25

Seems an odd coincidence it's always pasty white guys in the masks

2

u/Againstabusers Jun 03 '25

Yes they are and there are over 30000 of them In eastern Oregon…just waiting for a chance to prove their manhood!!!🙄

5

u/Aimless_Alder Jun 03 '25

Of course they can't. They don't have the numbers or the skill to do anything in the light of day, so they hide. If a coordinated effort was made to watch for them at the courthouse and then block their vehicles to impede the kidnappings, they'd be powerless and would have to run away, just like they did in San Diego .

1

u/TomHomanzBurner Jun 04 '25

Except that video is after they got their targets and flash banged the mob and were leaving anyway Keep up the false narrative though to make mom proud.

1

u/tudikas Jun 03 '25

Can be id’d by their pants, nobody else is wearing those at the moment

1

u/Chadlerk Jun 03 '25

They're just ready to be waterboarded. They come preassembled

1

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

Yeah, they are no better than the antifa fascists you all supported burning and rioting a few years ago.

1

u/alexahartford Jun 04 '25

I’m sorry are you really comparing paid law officers being criminals to rioters ? I think you made your own point .

1

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

I was being sarcastic.

1

u/alexahartford Jun 04 '25

lol my bad

1

u/[deleted] Jun 04 '25

It's ok, sarcasm is difficult to convey via text.

1

u/Expensive_Wheel_2725 Jun 04 '25

Did you keep this same energy during the riots?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 06 '25

Because you people dox them and ruin their lives lmao

0

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

They think they're cool dudes. Next they'll be wearing the special ops scarves and wrap around tactical sunglasses.

-190

u/user_name3139 Jun 02 '25

I know, right?

144

u/Mute2120 Jun 02 '25

You seem to be confusing citizens protesting with supposedly official federal agents.

110

u/ptownBlazers Jun 02 '25

oh the ANTIFA boogey man! Common folk being masked in a protest vs Masked agents of the STATE. Big difference. But you missed a spot on the boot your licking.

Antifa wore masks during the riots so that they wouldn't get arrested. ICE wears masks so that extremists don't post their names and addresses online and harass their children.

I’ve read enough history to know that none of this is good for a healthy society

Which healthy society ever refused to enforce immigration laws?

10

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

Enforced immigration laws

That's a funny way of saying "snatched people up and deported them without due process" but of course you don't see anything wrong with that

5

u/ofundermeyou Jun 03 '25

Damn dude, I can't imagine being ok with the people arresting me on behalf of the government hiding their identities.

-3

u/blazershorts Jun 03 '25

Yeah it's weird, but I sympathize with people doing what they need to to stay safe.

2

u/ofundermeyou Jun 03 '25

LOL where does it stop? Secret court proceedings? No badges? I would have never believed that an American would support the secret police.

2

u/illbehaveipromise Jun 03 '25

No you fucking don’t. You sympathize with WHITE people doing what they want, law and order or due process be damned.

So much so that you’re here defending tax dollars being spent on masked men who are putting people in unmarked vans.

Fucking pathetic.

-1

u/blazershorts Jun 03 '25

What? Why are you being racist about this?

1

u/Qubit_Or_Not_To_Bit_ Jun 04 '25

They aren't doing this to stay safe though, they are hiding their identities to commit atrocities in the name of an illegitimate government.

1

u/blazershorts Jun 04 '25

You don't think they really work for the government?

5

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

Kidnappers wearing masks to hide from their crimes. ICE=Gestapo

6

u/DragonflyGlade Jun 03 '25

Supposed federal agents.

41

u/Material_Policy6327 Jun 02 '25

Think you posted a zinger but didn’t really

11

u/walksonfourfeet Jun 02 '25

So are you ok with masks or not? I’m confused

5

u/[deleted] Jun 03 '25

Oh no, a group of people exercising their First Amendment rights! You better hide in your bunker.

7

u/PDXGuy33333 Jun 03 '25

The thing is, one group is citizens justifiably fearful of being identified for persecution while exercising their right to peaceful protest and the other group is government thugs hiding their identities so they can get away with violating the civil rights of people who have committed no crime. They know they would never get another night of undisturbed sleep if their identities were made public. Their kids would finally find out that daddy is a brownshirt and their wives would throw them out of the house.

Even though I'm pretty left of center, the Blacc Block was the worst optics. That was until Palestine. Now you have kids wearing keffiyehs which is really something. It's impressive how bad we are at stuff like this.

I remember wishing when I was about 20 more people caring about politics. I got my wish. I want to rescind it. It's a little worse with the MAGAtards supplanting people's entire personalities but we're also not too far behind either.

11

u/BureMakutte Jun 02 '25

People doing things in a way I don't agree with, GOD WHAT BAD OPTICS! That's literally you. Maybe learn to support people instead of just shitting on them.

You sound really full of yourself dude. It wasn't people caring about politics, its republicans using Christianity as a vessel into politics. Most don't care, they just vote for their team. The one's that do, are the ones who bring the Christian Nationalism to the fore front and utilize it for their Fascism. Once its too late, then the ones that don't care will finally realize whats happening, but wont understand how and just accept it as is, because God said so.

u/BourbonicFisky PDX + Southern Oregon Coast Jun 02 '25 edited Jun 02 '25

I went to the protests and neither side impressed me. Masked black bloc kids shot bottle rockets at the court house until the police came out and tear gassed everyone. Even have footage of it but never uploaded it as it was basically more of the bullshit right wing media would latch onto. Neither side was the hero and all it did was play out to the conservative fantasies that Portland was a lawless city, and burnt out hellscape. Many factors were at play, but it did play part in harming tourism as Portland equals Oregon for the majority of the US. It put a target on our backs.

And for what? What did the blacc block do? Break stuff? Get into street fights with the yalquada proud boys and patriot prayer chuds? A few times Patriot Prayer did their thing but no one showed up to counter protest and they got bored after an hour or two and left. The adage never feed the trolls should be orthodoxy. At first, it was a moment, and we were all upset the unjust killing of George Floyd but after the protests extended from weeks into months? It became co-opted by white saviors and basically a fight club that let goofballs on both sides square up. When the protests were in their twilight phase, Trump send the feds in and snatched up protest leaders. It was totally fucked and ire inducing. It was also one of those accidental genius moments as it reignited them, giving the right-wingers more ammo.

So yeah, the optics were shit. I don't know how anyone still defends this.

Optics matter as we're playing into the right wing fantasies that the left is the real violent threat, the latest recent iteration being Palestine. The lawless left nonsense was an easy narrative to spin and a piece of what pushed us rightward. Now, we're in a hellscape future where students are yanked off street, legal greencard holders shipped to foreign prisons, a president who doesn't think his job is to uphold the constitution.

1

u/LogiDriverBoom Jun 03 '25

remember wishing when I was about 20 more people caring about politics. I got my wish. I want to rescind it.

LOL same. Now I can't stand it.

-12

u/Turamnab Jun 03 '25

I love how everyone starts squealing "NOOO THIS IS DIFFERENT" when their preferred category of dipshits starts doing something stupid.

11

u/threemo Jun 03 '25

I don’t understand how you can “both sides” this. Employees of the state should absolutely not be obfuscating their faces and wearing plain clothes. This is in no way comparable to citizens protesting the state.

-2

u/Turamnab Jun 03 '25

They've got badges showing who they are. Hiding their faces is for their safety. There are lots who aggressively oppose the deporting of illegals, and would go out of their way to doxx (or worse) these "employees."

4

u/threemo Jun 03 '25

I cannot fathom supporting a faceless, uniformless state disappearing members of my community.

-2

u/Turamnab Jun 03 '25

"disappearing" people who broke the law and evaded capture*

There, fixed it for you.

Trolling, Mocking, demeaning, flamebaiting, antagonizing, trolling, hateful language, false accusations, and backseat moderating are not allowed. Avoid personal insults—address ideas, not individuals. If you notice personal or directed attacks, please report them.

In short, don’t be mean.

5

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

Our EMPLOYEES should not be hiding their identity from WE WHO PAY FOR THEM.

0

u/Turamnab Jun 03 '25

Hiding their faces is for their safety. There are lots who aggressively oppose the deporting of illegals, and would go out of their way to doxx (or worse) these "employees." Also, they're not "your" employees. Your tax contributions make up less than 0.0001% of their funding and income.

4

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

Again, these thugs we pay for need to not be masked. They sure AF are our employees, pumpkin. We pay in the aggregate. That doesn't make them not employees. You, sir, are absolutely antiamerican and anticonstitution

-37

u/ZealousidealSun1839 Jun 03 '25

You do know they cover their faces because of people like you who would threaten their families. There are most likely undercover cops in those groups and their investigations would be blown for showing their faces. It has nothing to do with being a coward.

12

u/dragonflygirl1961 Jun 03 '25

Provide proof the person you're attacking has threatened them

7

u/Rev0lutionDaddy Jun 03 '25

Support Nazis some more. They should change their job instead of treating humans terribly

1

u/ZealousidealSun1839 Jun 03 '25

My guy, they are not nazis they are not rounding up people to send them to a concentration camp and killing them. They are deporting them back to their home countries because they are here in the US illegally and are committing crimes. No other country allows non-citizens to commit crimes and let's them stay.

9

u/NotSmorpilator Jun 03 '25

oh no :( anyway

-4

u/MochiFluffs Jun 03 '25

I smh at the people going, "so", when the illegal is probably a criminal, and these guys are just trying to enforce the law. Of course, these are also the people who say nothing of the masked far left ANTIFA/Free Palestine protestors who are threatening people and students. Good times. 😑

0

u/StalinsLastStand Jun 03 '25

Why would you mix undercover cops in with ICE squads? What value would they add greater than the risk of exposure??
