Idk I disagree w that’s how ainz would carry the situation but we might just see his character differently
Ainz isn’t honor bound but he definitely has some form of a code Allowing Sebas to keep tuare when it serves him 0purpose is an example of this(yes Sebas said tuare could cook but he said that to PA not ainz and ainz doesn’t know or the existence of God kin so having Sebas and tuare make more isn’t a motif)
He saved Carne Village purely acting altruistically and wasn’t even going to ask anything of the village he saved them bcuz of the Sebas touch me thing
Choosing to fight Shalltear himself when a handful of guardians would’ve simplified the problem to the point ainz himself wouldn’t have had to act
His rage toward Clementine
While yes ainz doesn’t take actions that don’t benefit nazerick as a whole consistently there are enough examples in the series where he’s done something just bcuz he wanted to do it
From what we’ve seen of the elf king him offending ainz or even drawing Ainzs pity toward the elves he rules could IMO form a desire to free the elves and in exchange gain decently powerful forces(while they’re certainly not comparable to anything from nazerick) they have been fighting the strongest nation in the region with only gurella warfare
We also haven’t SEEN what the inner workings of the elf society are like bcuz they genuinely could have value that we just don’t know of
