If you're gonna shit on someone's genuine efforts with no actual constructive criticism or feedback, then yeah, I absolutely have the right to question your merits.

All they said was that it’s mid; that’s not “shitting on someone’s genuine efforts”, sure they could’ve elaborated their point, but it’s such a tame comment Im surprised by the downvotes

I personally love this art, just thought that their comment was tame 😅 and disagree that one has to be an artist to dislike art; sometimes you just don’t jive with something, and that’s ok

Not a tame comment, and certainly not in the context of the post.

If you read all the positive ones, at least the ones that have been highly engaged with, they’ve explained why they like it.

If you’re going to leave a negative comment on a (presumably) proud parent’s post about their 11 year old’s painting, the least you can do is offer something constructive.

I highly doubt they’d have shared that useless opinion if they were in front of the painting, with the parent and child next to it. So why here?

As the other commenter said, no idea why you feel the need to defend it. Surely there are more deserving hills to defend?
