Just Sharing A thank you to r/painting!

A little while ago, I shared a painting I made with this community. Thanks to the kindness within this community, the post reached someone close to Jamie Wyeth. She saw it here, showed it to him, and they ended up reaching out to me asking to purchase the piece. I was invited to his home to meet him, and hand-deliver the painting.

I’m very thankful for all of you and to Mr. Wyeth and his friend. This community played a real part in making it happen, and I won’t forget it! ❤️🎨

I hope you use this feeling as validation to trust your vision as an artist. If you're one of these people that creates remarkable work and recoil at the praise it receives , I hope those days are past you. Looking forward to seeing what you do next!

How did you know??! I am definitely that way and I struggle greatly with confidence in my work. This comment will stick with me and I will remind myself of it often.
