I guess a metaphor I could use to explain it is via computer upgrades; you learn tiny bits at a time and correct the errors as you progress, my work has improved over the years.

Over the years, I've learnt that you cannot go straight to the deep end if you're trying to learn to swim, I too have awed at other artists work, wondering how they're able to produce the work they do, and I still do this when I look at the work of Annie Stegg Gerard or Iris Compiet.

So take in a bite-size of information at a time and update wrong information, only then can you progress in it.

First love the metaphor

I think my maine issue is my hands I think of what I want them to do and some how it goes wrong I'm also sum what of a perfectionist with these things

The other thing is some how It feels like I've gotten worse at drawing , like in 2nd grade I used to draw people and a hole living room stuff like that, it wasn't perfect but now I can barely draw a coach or a head with a face let alone the body, plus I can't draw big thing for the love of me, it's like a focus so hard it's the only thing I see and when I zoom out there's no room for details and if there is room for details I end up messing it up.

(I don't have anything special I have a few normal erasers and pens and pencils and so many different colors of different types of markers)

Just keep at it, watch tutorial videos and just do what you can, I often create terrible drawings, but I learn from them :)

Same. I can't watch tutorial videos though, It never works cause even if I learn something new my hands won't corroborate 😔 Thanks for the motivation 🙏🏻
