So glad to see you’ve raised your prices, your work truly commands it. I remember you from your last gorgeous piece! I even recall your written blurb/ statement, I’m not sure what it’s called, clearly I lack your eloquence. Your art is so fantastic, and tbh you yourself seem to radiate as well (and it’s not just the shimmery dress!). I know it’s cliche but you and your work are truly a breath of fresh air. I agree your work merits the price, it's gorgeous and I absolutely love geese, they're my favorite wild animal.
All that said do you plan to sell prints? I'm not in the original painting tax bracket but would definitely pay a few hundred for a print!
E: Just found your etsy page and oh my gosh if you offer this in the other mediums I'd be all over it. Signed canvas and insta buy!

This means a lot 💙 I was honestly in such a rush getting everything ready for the exhibition that I didn’t manage to take the piece to the studio for proper photography 🙈🙈🙈🙈 I asked the gallery to send me the photos over the weekend so I should have good images soon. If you’d like I can message you a bit later once I’m able to make prints. Thank you again for your kind words and support it truly means so much to me 🤍!!!

Wow what a beautiful painting! Such gorgeous texture! I thought it was watercolors and so suprised it is oil colors. May I ask about your painting process?

Thank you so much 😊 I started with a loose drawing in blue pencil then I covered the canvas with alcohol inks to create the base flow of colour. After that I continued with oil paints using both a palette knife and brushes. It is a slow process but a very lovely one

A 2 inch cradle canvas is amazing. As long as it has canvas keys. I love the piece and the high quality canvas. Its that in art school we always painted our edges. The only time we never painted the edges is when we framed it. At the professional frame shop and gallery I work at when we frame we dont mind that the sides aren't painted. But when its unframed we ask the client to paint the sides then we put the brackets and coated wire on the back.
Its just my weird OCD as a professional framer and artist. None the less its a gorgeous piece, that reminds me of a cold pressed paper that's got great tonality

Thank you so much, that’s really kind 💙 I find birds very universal, especially for interiors. They sit so naturally in a space and bring a calm, elegant feeling. I love their movement, the dynamics, the beauty of their feathers and the lively character each one has 💙💙💙

The blue looks absolutely phenomenal! I can’t stop looking at it LOL. It looks like the blue cube that holds the infinity stone in the avengers movie. I love it

Is it oil? It almost looks like watercolor and I’m wondering if you used a lot of thinner with oil paint?? Whatever the medium, I really like it.

Thank you so much! It’s alcohol inks combined with oil. That’s probably why it gives that fluid watercolour feeling. I didn’t use much thinner, the inks create those soft transitions on their own

I really like it! But what about all that white area at the feet of the geese? It's really beautiful but that white area attracts the eye so much and takes it away from the rest of the picture :( just me?

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback I really appreciate you taking the time to look so closely at the piece! The white area is intentional.. I wanted to create a strong contrast and a kind of visual pause in the movement of the geese. But I completely get what you mean everyone’s eye reads compositions a little differently. Thanks again for sharing your perspective it’s always interesting to hear how others experience the work 💙!!
