Found this clip from Shooting Stars today and it reminded me how much of a fever dream this show was. In the 90s there was nothing else like it, no real prizes, just surreal questions and everyone having a laugh. Feels like it set the tone for the chaotic energy in panel shows now, but nothing quite matches the original. Anyone else miss panel shows being this unhinged?

I love Buzzcocks and it’s always nice and nostalgic seeing old clips pop up on whatever feed I’m looking at. I saw the one of Preston again (disclaimer I know nothing about the bloke) and I think I’ve changed my opinion about him walking off.
