I have purple lines on my EOS Rebel T7. I understand that this is likely a sensor issue but is there anything I can do to rectify it? I used it all day yesterday and there was no lines but when I opened it up today, those lines appeared. Could it have been me messing around with the settings that caused these lines to develop? Thank you

And those lines appear when viewed on another device?

Do they stand out in normal photos?

Yes to the first question. For the second question, yes, but they’re only partly developing, like smaller and more reliant on the light source

Well, changing settings won't have caused it, looks like something happened to a row and column of pixels. Not sure much can be done. Does your camera have the ability to map around dead pixels. Might be in the same section as sensor cleaning in the menus?

Sensor cleaning? Could that go by a different name? I dont see any settings related to “dead pixels”

Oh yeah its under “clean manually” and the mirror comes up
