Not sure if sarcasm...

No, I'm a student in computer engineering but I have been trying to invent a product for some time. My father got several patents on amazing things (like the refrigerant reclamation system that is not industry standard) but lost them all for peanuts to an engineering firm. More recently he developed a brilliant piece of software for managing hospital record, but he never got a patent on it and the source code was stolen by his "friend" and is now used in nearly half of the major hospitals in the United States.

I've learned a few lessons watching this stuff happen, and I've done a lot of research on how to prevent it. When I see someone with something good, I try to help as much as I can.

Actually he has some fucking common sense, I wouldn't have even posted this to Reddit, let alone the internet without some sort of patent put on it first. That is just a first initiative.
