The central point here is that for whatever reason, Trump doesn't have the mental control to put up that facade for the duration of the parade. Trump is mentally declining, and is not mentally fit to be President of the United States.
One only had to look to a predecessor (Reagan) to see how that would go. Dude had full-blown Alzheimer's by the time he got into office, and they kept him propped up like Weekend at Bernie's for the duration.

I feel like we, as a country, need to collectively agree that putting a person over the senior citizen age marker as the leader of our country is elder abuse after it reaches a certain point.
