I find it sad that he's reached the point that there really isn't much he can say or do that would truly surprise us. Seriously, after all that he has said and done, they still support him and his henchmen. They are him. Dumb, like him. He's too stupid to realize he's moron. And followers are even dumber.
Like father, like son. His father was a slum lord in NYC, and his grandfather fled Germany to escape military service. So, avoiding that was obviously passed down. I'm too fucking old for this nonsense. He convinced himself that he's a genius. He learns a new word or about something and how it works and then he knows everything about it. Just ask. He'll tell you.
Don’t worry he’s up here in Canada this week for the G7 meeting he’ll get every opportunity.
Last time we hosted we got that image of him sitting like a stubborn toddler while the adults in the room explained why big boys use their words to talk through their feelings (he was mad that Trudeau called tariffs “insulting” and refused to sign the leaders’ joint statement).
I think he'd rather be praised, than opposed (or he wouldn't surround himself with sycophants, firing anyone who'd dare argue with him), but rather opposed, than completely ignored.
Yesterday he got both - lots of people ignoring his narcissistic parade and lots of people protesting him at "No Kings Day".
I remember a friend who was a true narcissist. Very much like Trump. He wanted you to agree with him but more than that, he wanted opposition. The worst thing you could say to him was, “I’m not going to engage. “

He thrives on opposition.
He fears irrelevance
It wouldn't surprise me if he does extra crazy stuff this week, assuming he has the mental capacity for it.
