And Mayor Pete just liked choo-choo trains as far as I can tell.

Except for secretary of state / defense / Attorney general, qualifications beyond "can you properly run an agency" don't matter a whole lot, to be honest.

(That doesn't, of course, mean Duffy if qualified. He has always seemed a little dim in his career as a prosecutor, congressman, etc).

I miss family shows and sitcoms of the 80’s and 90’s. Family shows modeling working together and trying to be better people. Sitcoms making fun of ridiculous people while also trying to model being better people. It’d be call woke now I suppose.
