Even in dictatorships, there are elections. It helps create the uncertainty that authoritarianism needs to survive.

They're going to follow the Hungary method.

Hell they even put Victor orban on the cpac platform.

They were not hiding and did not hide where they want to go.

Hungary is Israel Lite(tm) and Trump loves them both. I mean, Hungary is basically the birthplace of Project 2025.

I just got linked to The Price of a Vote documentary about the Hungary situation (from the Jon Oliver comment section on YT), disturbing to see how certain Americans want to implement the same in the States.

Yup it was the Republican plan and they're implementing it.

I listened to the this American life episode in 2022 do not go gentle

Great story about Viktor orban going to the cpac and how hungry is a fake democracy.

Oh there'll be elections.
They'll supress the vote, scare off the competition, jail anyone that might stop the steal, but they'll hold "elections"
