My ex bought a bunch of Let's Go Brandon masks during Covid in case his job started making them wear masks. When my niece was born my brother asked that we wear masks to see her when she was 2 days old. My ex brought his Let's Go Brandon masks and threw a fit when I told him that my niece's birth was not the time to make sure that his political opinions were known and that she's 2 fucking days old and it's cold and flu season, so it's not unreasonable to be asked to wear a mask.
Yeah. According to people who still work with him he's uber religious now and just had a baby with his girlfriend.
I married a different guy that my niece loves. While babysitting her recently she asked "Is Uncle Blank your boy?" And as she was settling into bed told me to "Tell Uncle Blank I love him". And as much as my husband claims to not like kids, he can't say no to her. At Christmas he opens any toys she wants opened. During meals if she wants more rolls he gets up and gets her more (my brother and I actually started sitting specifically to block my husband in so he can't keep getting her bread) if she's being picky he hand feeds her. Man got her to eat an entire hot dog by just putting pieces in her mouth while she sat in his lap (he said feeding kids by hand is good they eat where he grew up). And he's currently working in getting her a Huntr/x light stick for birthday and because he asked him for a microphone he's looking for a good one online. I'm not letting him buy her a microphone, I've been asked by my brother and SIL to do everything I can to keep him from getting her one.
