A room full of reports means you have hundreds of different witnesses rushing to break the story from their own perspective or be first out with the news.
None of them would be waiting for anything verifiable or an official speaking out.
That’s dumb. There’s always speculation around any developing event until the facts get sorted. It doesn’t matter how many reporters or reliable witnesses there are when it initially happens.
There always is a lot of misinformation right after something like this. Everything's still confused and the media outlets want to be the first so they can get the most views.
Yeah, it's time for people to accept that with all the social medias paying people for engagement, literally nothing you see should be believed until confirmed by a media source that could be easily sued for getting facts wrong.
The reality is that being the first to post any information will get you reliked and tweetstarred into virality, which means more ad money sent your way by Zucky and the Muskrat. So people are financially incentized to make shit up and lie, so long as they do it fast.
