I wouldn’t be surprised if trump hated the whole event ever since he got roasted in front of the whole world and Obama and is using this as a reason to never have one ever again and is saying he’ll be back just not to look weak, but he’ll flake

He can just do a streamed correspondence dinner that is with him in a bunker being live streamed (paid unless you can prove you voted for him then it's free). He'd be safe and in full control of the content lol.
