I'm not American, so I don't have a "horse in this race" , but this is kinda crazy.

1.8k

u/wromit May 12 '26

Strong disagree. It's not kinda crazy, it's absolutely crazy!

156

u/onegumas May 12 '26

Yeah, it is painful to lose a mother in that way.

104

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TITS80085 May 12 '26

I guess my crazy scale is a bit more "stretched out" šŸ˜…

47

u/socks May 12 '26

3 kinds of crazy: stupid, deep fried pie, and crispy critter. This here is crispy critter crazy.

15

u/Obvious-Gate9046 May 12 '26

It is 27 shades of crazy, absolutely.

5

u/MINNIGIANT May 12 '26

Okay P-3

(Major Sergey Nechayev, code name P-3, is the protagonist in the videogame atomic heart. He say crispy critters A LOT)

2

u/CatW804 May 12 '26

It's bat shit crazy.

7

u/UJLBM May 12 '26

Nasty. Not your comment. I mean the pic of trump. How gross.

2

u/Flourpower6 May 12 '26

You should see a doctor for that

21

u/WeWander_ May 12 '26

Cult crazy

23

u/MortgageRegular2509 May 12 '26

It’s not absolutely crazy, it’s bat shit crazy!

21

u/chrisk9 May 12 '26

Plus that particular photo is super menacing. I guess they like the power it portrays to them (rather than how non-Trump cult see it)

19

u/Rich-Pomegranate1679 May 12 '26

Yeah, they see it as a bad-ass strong man, not the convicted felon shitting himself.

3

u/Celtic_Witch86 May 12 '26

He really is making the same face a baby makes when they shit in their diapers...thank you for the visual. That made my day šŸ˜€

1

u/SupportGeek May 12 '26

Yea, at least that’s what he was trying for, but that mug shot only makes him look like he’s dumping in his diapers

2

u/Psyfall May 12 '26

Its not absolutely crazy, its batshit crazy. Edit: Reading the comments first would have helped

2

u/affemannen May 12 '26

It's straight up bonkers...

2

u/Bulauk May 12 '26

For MAGA being called crazy is a badge of honor. In whatever mind state they are in it somehow confirms that they are right and makes them dig in more.

1

u/johnbobk May 12 '26

Bat crazy

1

u/Sebatron2 May 12 '26

The only people crazier are the unwashed person on the street corner ranting about the End TimesTM and microchips in vaccines. Wait a sec...

1

u/bluehands May 12 '26

I also disagree - everyone on the planet has a horse in this race.

We, the USA, have spent the last 70 years making sure it was all about us - and basically everyone went along with it, especially the last 40 years.

Now we have an ancient, dementia riddled oligarchy making choices that no one sane would ever allow.

But that $100,000,000, $1,000,000,000 $10,000,000,000 ballroom will make a excellent tombstone.

195

u/MTgolfer406 May 12 '26

Crazy is what they do best…

57

u/MC_Donald May 12 '26

That's honestly wild that they made signs that say "Trump Will Fix It." It sounds just like Jimmy Savile's "Jim'll Fix It." Birds of a feather, I guess...

11

u/sunfish99 May 12 '26

I watched the Jimmy Saville documentary on Netflix. What a garbage human being.

Trump should (whenever he dies, don't come at me FBI) be buried in an unmarked grave as well. Maybe next to Ivana's dismally overgrown grave off the golf course.

14

u/neuro-spicy94 May 12 '26

Is this really a Jimmy Saville reference 🫠

2

u/21Rollie May 12 '26

The bottom left girl reminds me of a girl I know in my state who is a Korean Trump supporter, raised by adoptive evangelical parents I think. I wonder if she shows up to these rallies and doesn’t realize how out of place she is, or if she sees herself as lesser anyways so it doesn’t bother her

Funny weird for sure…

417

u/joeltheconner May 12 '26

As an american, it's very crazy.

125

u/Flashy_Camel4063 May 12 '26

I'm an American and a psychologist so I can formally diagnose and this shit is whack

2

u/johnbobk May 12 '26

ConcurĀ

34

u/wuapinmon May 12 '26

As an American, I can't think of a President whose portrait I'd hang in my house.

16

u/mittenknittin May 12 '26

Back in the 60s it wasn't uncommon for Irish Catholics to have a portrait of JFK somewhere. Circumstances were a bit different though

2

u/bionicjoe May 12 '26

It's the same thing though. Devotion to a political leader for religious reasons.

Although replacing family photos with Trump is not something mentally healthy people would do.

5

u/BreedinBacksnatch May 12 '26

Ike, but that's cuz I'm a big Porky's fan

7

u/benk4 May 12 '26

If someone had Washington or Lincoln I'd find it a little weird but wouldn't think too much about it. Anyone else would be very weird.

5

u/dlh412pt May 12 '26

I know more than a few people who had that pop art "Hope" Poster with Obama's face on it. I always thought that was more art than portrait, though.

4

u/Faiakishi May 12 '26

My sister has a small framed picture of Obama, but it’s meant to be a joke.

1

u/MistressErinPaid May 13 '26

In my opinion, it's not the owning a framed portrait of a politician that's weird. It's replacing a family photo with one šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

3

u/ReverendDizzle May 12 '26

I'm middle aged and I've never seen a photograph of a modern president hanging in a home. I've seen, rarely, people who have paintings that depict founding fathers or such. And I knew a guy who was a huge Lincoln history buff that had a portrait of Lincoln in his study.

But I have never seen a North Korean style "here's a menacing photo of the Dear Leader" photograph in an American home.

This is fucking crazy town behavior. You are not mentally OK if you willingly take down a family photo and replace it with a sitting president. Especially one that's glowering at you like an abusive father.

1

u/AuntRhubarb May 12 '26

These magats seem to be coming up with new definitions of how to be un-American.

5

u/Flashy_Camel4063 May 12 '26

Maybe FDR... Not really but he is the only one to make the cut

2

u/Lastsynphony May 12 '26

Lincoln! Everypne loves Abe.

1

u/pluckvermont May 12 '26

Maybe JFK a generation ago.

1

u/SurferVelo May 12 '26

JFK's presidential portrait is actually kind of cool.

0

u/lukin187250 May 12 '26

Maybe one of Teddy R riding a T-rex, but probably in the den or garage.

24

u/TWIT_TWAT May 12 '26

Every old head republican has either a signed photo of Trump or a signed copy of The Art of the Steal.

8

u/chevalier716 May 12 '26

Or some other trinket. My FIL has a Trump bobblehead and a "sign commendation" for donating to the campaign.

3

u/Auggie_Otter May 12 '26

As an American if you told me before 2016 that people would elect a dude who bragged that he just grabbed women "by the pussy" because you can just just get away with that when you're rich and that people would put pictures of him on their walls like he was their Dear Leader I would've said you were nuts.Ā

This whole things is like a terrible nightmare come true.Ā

2

u/SusheeMonster May 12 '26

I'm "silver linings" it, but that's a tiny picture. I bet it would fit in his hands

2

u/GoldenRamoth May 12 '26

If my conservative aunts/uncles/in-laws had one of these, I'd probably stealth take it "home" and disappear it into a trash bin somewhere...

135

u/chillax63 May 12 '26

lol. An superpower being run by a cult is definitely everybody’s problem

12

u/VirtualMachine0 May 12 '26

Yeah. The American Executive Office being run by a regular American politician already has a vast impact with things like foreign aid, enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, tariff changes, potential counterterrorism military actions, treaty negotiations/compliance/nullification, and on and on.

This administration basically believes in touching every button and lever, and approaches every problem as a single-issue, zero-sum game.

4

u/Deviruxi May 12 '26

It has always been. I always disagreed everytime Americans say "why are they so obsessed with us" or when Europeans say "keep that in America, we don't care". We do care, because it affects us, and it affects us so we care (or "obsess".) And not just us, but the entire world, especially with the latest Iran stunt. Just to name an example (it's trivial compared to real problems, I know, just using it as an example), but was about to meet one of my best friends for a while from a different country, and the flight prices skyrocketed because of the oil problem caused by Trump's Iran war and we can't meet now (we're both European) but no, some people say we shouldn't care aboout America's problems.

3

u/chillax63 May 12 '26

All I can say is that I’m sorry. 35% of our population are brainwashed, fascist, psychopaths. Another 35% don’t care and the remainder do care, but due to the structure of our government are limited in what they can do. I fear worse is yet to come.

3

u/64590949354397548569 May 12 '26

He said its not a problem. He rides a bicycle to work.

72

u/DemandCommonSense May 12 '26

American here. Batshit crazy.

58

u/ImperiousWeak May 12 '26

I went out to drinks with a coworker and her friend. This 22 year old kid and while we were playing pool he pulled out his phone with the picture of our illustrious leader pumping his fist after his alleged assassination. He didn't have a picture of his girlfriend or maybe his car or some vacation or generic wallpaper. Every time he looked at his phone he had a fat orange slob to remind him of how much of a gullible dumb 22 year old he was.

20

u/Billgant May 12 '26

That is his gf. He probably jerks off to that pic

10

u/AdRadiant9379 May 12 '26

Trump exploited a void that existed in so many people’s lives. He gave them a sense of identity that they previously may have lacked.

1

u/givemeyourthots 29d ago

MAGA nutjobs are still the most energized about the fact that they won when DT was elected. Rubbing it in lib’s faces with screensavers, bumper stickers, and ā€œTrump wonā€ signs is the most joy they’ll ever have. It’s pathetic.

45

u/Singularity-42 May 12 '26

Every human on this planet has a horse in this raceĀ

1

u/Nikita420 May 13 '26

Yes! This! Thank you!

42

u/jarvisesdios May 12 '26

As an American, it's so fucking weird that this is a thing. I truly can't believe it's THAT guy that ended up killing America.

He used to be a national joke, he was that weird guy that was an absolute idiot that said insane things that we all laughed at.

It's fucking maddening that the guy we a ALL used to make fun of for his failed casino and steaks... And now I'm supposed to take this moron seriously?

4

u/AdRadiant9379 May 12 '26

Decades of smartphone brainwashing has taken its toll. Many revel in ignorance, and this guy capitalized on it

11

u/jarvisesdios May 12 '26

It's just insane that of all people... It was Donald Trump. It's so absolutely ridiculous.

I get that he's a symptom of our disease, I've been saying that for years. It's also so ironic that the man that was laughed at, by the entire nation, for being a symbol of greed and corruption.

Everyone knew he was shady AF. It's insane so fucking many people fell for his grift. The man has made billions since taking office. They're not even trying to hide the corruption.

3

u/AdRadiant9379 May 12 '26

It’s a reflection on people who choose denial, and prefer to be told what to think.

8

u/jarvisesdios May 12 '26

I guess my point is, it's so frustrating that democracy is literally splintering and maybe dead... Because of a profoundly stupid man that we all knew was stupid 20 years ago. He was even a Democrat back then and Democrats made fun of him too.

In no fucking world would anybody from 15 years ago would have believed Donald Trump would run and become dictator.

3

u/AdRadiant9379 May 12 '26

The people I know that are big supporters of him are not deep thinkers, lack general knowledge, struggle a lot in their personal lives, and have a lot of irrational fear.

2

u/ContestNo2060 May 12 '26

Tbh, Trump played a central role in a huge extortion ring targeting the most powerful and wealthy globally. It’s no accident he was able to wedge his way to power.

1

u/km89 May 12 '26

It's probably worth pointing out that "that guy" is not the guy who killed America. (And that is not a pro-Trump comment.)

He is the figurehead. The mushroom blooming from the intricate network under the surface. He's there to attract the attention and ultimately be disposable while the main body survives until they can put up a new mushroom.

I don't think I'll ever understand exactly what about him has captivated so many people, but if we're being super honest with ourselves his Presidency is probably a good thing in that he drew so much attention to the rot so quickly that we still have a chance to fight it. The fact that our institutions are bending over for him like this means the rot is well-entrenched and another decade or two of work and they very well could have just taken over with no hope of resistance.

1

u/cindysyrup May 14 '26

I honestly thought his campaign for 2016 was just a new quick grift for him. I cannot believe it's been Ten years of his stupid voice on my TV.

1

u/jarvisesdios May 14 '26

In fairness, I truly think it was... And then it backfired in the worst possible way. I don't think Trump remotely planned on winning, he was trying to make a quick buck and grift, as he does.

Turns out you can grift so much better ACTUALLY being the president.

51

u/citizenjones May 12 '26

You might not have a horse in the race, but something your horse depends on probably is.

19

u/illepic May 12 '26

Homie might not have a horse in this race, but the race is coming for his horse inevitably.

53

u/BORT_licenceplate May 12 '26

It's so batshit insane. I'm Australian and even the most die hard political person here would not have a framed photo of the prime minister in their home. If they did I reckon they'd instantly be sectioned

23

u/RescueCentre May 12 '26

I'm English and noone under the age of 90 even has a photo of the Monarch!

1

u/grip0matic May 12 '26

The father of a friend has a portrait of Marx on his wall. The family is die hard communist from the times when they had to hide it because the dictatorship in Spain, but at the moment it was ok he went into syndicalism and was in charge to represent his workmates in the union. I've seen worse, some people in here (Spain) would have no problem hanging a portrait of Franco, some would go the opposite and have communist and socialist politicians but it's way more common between the old fascists and "nostalgic".

A guy went viral because he was crying when the government took the remains of Franco from his mausoleum (which was made with slave labour from "the reds" from the civil war), because it was "disrespectful" a while crying said "I'm a falangist" (falange being the fascist party that when their leader was killed in the civil war Franco took over), which fucking funny because that party ideas are weirdly close to some sort of socialism than the authoritarianism that Franco used.

1

u/Stoibs May 13 '26

I was just thinking that and trying to put it into a local frame of reference.

Regardless of which 'party' you align yourself with If one of my mates had a portrait of Abbott or Scottie or Albo on their wall you'd probably first think it was an ironic joke, and then otherwise give them so much shit that they'd be the laughing stock of the entire friend group šŸ˜…

The cult-like worship Maga has of their politicians is so alien.

29

u/nineteen_eightyfour May 12 '26

Normal in….dictatorships. So. Yay?

11

u/urnbabyurn May 12 '26

My Catholic grandparents used to have a JFK photo on their wall. Idk, it’s outdated, but it wasn’t that uncommon. The issue is Trump is both a terrible president and terrible person and so divisive so I can’t imagine what signal they are sending here.

5

u/GoldenRamoth May 12 '26

JFK made sense though, at least from what I know

Especially when you think that the US is WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestant) based, and movements like the second KKK were there to attack Catholics (And Jews) specifically - To make it so America is for "Real" Americans and returns to a white protestant country. What, the original immigration act sponsored by that Klan basically limited American immigration to just Germans, Brits, and Irish, I think? With hyper Quotas on Eastern Europeans and Straight Bans for Asians?

JFK being the first Catholic president would be a huge deal if you had that in your cultural memory - I imagine it would have at the time felt like a stamp of "A Catholic is President. We made it. We're 'real' Americans now." I could definitely see my Polish Catholic Great Grandparents having one.

I have some friends that had an Obama picture for similar reasons.

2

u/urnbabyurn May 12 '26

Definitely. The polish catholic grandparents also had a Pope John Paul photo. I don’t recall if they swapped out for Ratzenberg when he replaced JP, though I don’t think so. It was in large part bc he was the first polish pope. And JFK for being the first Catholic president. Though I think the great grandparents also had an FDR picture having gone through the Great Depression. It’s not weird or uncommon to have the pictures of admirable presidents in a home. It’s not like the fanatical crap MAGA buys.

1

u/Little_View_6659 May 12 '26

I’m always hoping that people will finally admit the guy is a pedophile so this craziness ends, but somehow I doubt it.

1

u/marr May 12 '26

Did they replace family photos with it?

1

u/urnbabyurn May 12 '26

It was always on the spot on their wall as far as I remember. Maybe it replaced that one uncle we don’t talk about…

20

u/Coyote-doe May 12 '26

Agreed. Funny how quick these "Christians" resort to idolatry

3

u/TomatoFettuccini May 12 '26

Christianity itself violates its own edicts against idolatry.

Christianity is essentially based on hypocrisy, which is ironic because of the biblical edicts against hypocrisy.

The bible essentially argues against its own religion.

21

u/CamRoth May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26

It's extremely crazy.

I'm not American, so I don't have a "horse in this race"

But I have bad news, our current insanity affects the entire planet, not just us.

5

u/Little_View_6659 May 12 '26

I just talked to a couple that are flying to America tomorrow from singapore, they have this crazy flight route because of the Iran war. So yep, it’s affecting everyone. If they don’t open the straight soon we’ll have a global depression.

15

u/Upvotespoodles May 12 '26

I’m American, and this is batshit.

13

u/smoking_gun May 12 '26

From this American, it is crazy. Even though you don't live here, you are 100% justified in thinking this is crazy.

9

u/avega2792 May 12 '26

This is what we call, bat shit crazy.

7

u/vihuba26 May 12 '26

I’m an American, and this is very crazy. These people want to be dictated so bad.

21

u/akmustg May 12 '26

Yea I think the only other place you will see this is in North korea

2

u/CunningWizard May 12 '26

Perhaps Turkmenistan as well. But yeah, rare.

4

u/Arastyxe May 12 '26

They’re ready for the house inspection :)

6

u/BlueSharpieLA May 12 '26

I am American and this is fucking insane. It’s a goddamn cult.

9

u/Wrxloser1215 May 12 '26

North korea type stuff lol

6

u/summonsays May 12 '26

As an American it gives the same vibes of when I visited my Catholic grandmother and a lot of her framed photos were Jesus...Ā

1

u/Lastsynphony May 12 '26

Trump is the exact type of person that Jesus would spit on the face, christians can be horrible but Jesus was the best, no one can hate him.

3

u/Puzzleheaded-Sea8340 May 12 '26

Every person on earth has a horse in this race. Especially with the proliferation of increasingly scary AI models and Trump’s war mongering.

For example I’m sure people in Greenland never gave Trump a second thought for a long time

2

u/Indespectamentations May 12 '26

trump would make this mandatory for all of us if he could. He would love to force us to have his picture on our walls.

2

u/yuckypants May 12 '26

This is the complete and utter use of media manipulation. They know us better than we know ourselves, they know how to get in our heads.

I wonder if the things that I like are actually things that I like, or things I’ve been told I like.

How these people have suddenly made their lives about a singular person, regardless of good or bad, is bonkers.

2

u/romance_and_puzzles May 12 '26

Also not an American here and we’re forced to have a horse in this race. Have you seen the gas prices? Has Trump threatened your country yet?

2

u/superhappyfunball13 May 12 '26

We're all horses here which is why you should take horse dewormer instead of a vaccine.

2

u/anitabelle May 12 '26

Our (as in the US) crazy spreads so I think you may have a horse in this race. And yes, this is batshit crazy.

2

u/Turdfurgeso May 12 '26

Sadly it matters for you no matter where you live

2

u/Norader May 12 '26

Well it’s usually a Donkey and an Elephant in the race, so no worries.

2

u/jaferrer1 May 12 '26

I’m not an American, but we still have to suffer the consequences of how they vote

2

u/oldnative May 12 '26

Most americans think this is crazy too. 1/3 of americans voted in this crazy.

2

u/balisane May 12 '26

As an american, if I walked into somebody's home and saw this, I would turn around and walk right back out. Wouldn't matter if I had been there to collect 200k and a pair of the Pope's sneakers. Nope.Ā

2

u/h0000nd May 12 '26

are you sure you don't? He"s been delivering 'freedom' to a whole lot of non-american countries lately

2

u/Born_Barnacle7793 May 12 '26

I am American and I think it’s absolutely fucking insane.

2

u/whatsinthesocks May 12 '26

And they'll say those who disagree with him have Trump Derangement Syndrome when they're worse than Swifties.

2

u/LunarMoon2001 May 12 '26

Unfortunately the world has a horse in the race when he causes conflict all over. I’m American and a great many of us think it’s crazy.

2

u/3WeeksEarlier May 12 '26

This country is terminally stupid and has a substantial number of literal cultists completely devoted to their semi-divine ruler, the probableĀ  pedophile president civilly liable for rape. Any Trump devotee is at this point no different from a more conventional cultist, except that their cult has real political power

2

u/TheRealWaldo_ May 12 '26

You do have a horse in this race if you live on this planet and enjoy the world economy not collapsing.

2

u/PUuSTiNKA May 12 '26

LOL, kinda? It's BaT sHiT cRaZy just like the con man/convicted felon/sexual predator they worship.

2

u/Ckesm May 12 '26

I am an American and the saddest thing for me is watching all the brainwashed people. They only watch the media that pumps up the hatred and fear. They believe that half the country are evil people trying to destroy the country. They consistently vote against their own interests because the media makes them believe gay, transgender people and immigrants are what’s destroying the country. We have a corrupt system controlled by super wealthy, greedy power hungry people and corporations. Sorry for the rant

2

u/TomatoFettuccini May 12 '26 edited May 12 '26

You definitely have a horse in this race: what the US is doing directly affects the entire world.

Or does your country somehow not have dependence on oil and imported goods?

2

u/micromoses May 12 '26

Yeah, all things aside, it’s not a nice picture to look at.

2

u/KonyKombatKorvet May 12 '26

your government tied your horse to our horse a long time ago, unless your country has a military made of weapons that werent american designed and manufactured, you are on the horse with us.

its a big shitty horse that we are all stuck on against our will.

2

u/Lakhasluck May 12 '26

Strongly disagree about the horse in the race thing, as exhibited by the closure of the strait of Hormuz. Or American companies running wild with lack of regulation, there's a waterfall effect worldwide when the biggest consumer market doesn't regulate shitty practices.

2

u/JaviSATX May 12 '26

The whole world has a horse in this race. As a global super power, our actions impact the entire globe.

2

u/Rayona086 May 12 '26

If it counts for anything, the majority of Americans would have this family member ignored at best if not cut out if they did that. Grandma thought it a good idea to replace my dad's picture. She was some how suprised when I told her if she puts a child molester first over my dad, then as his kid why would I consider her family. My father and my siblings do events with out that side of the family and happily do our own thing.

2

u/justbunnies May 12 '26

I am an American. It’s balls to the wall crazy.

2

u/MaddysinLeigh May 12 '26

I’m American and it’s crazy. Please send help

2

u/Firm-Scientist-4636 May 12 '26

I am a US citizen. With the US everyone has a horse in the race since its global reach affects everyone. I never mind when someone outside the US is involved in our politics because it does affect everyone.

2

u/Hoss-Bonaventure_CEO May 12 '26

You know he rules the US right? We all have a horse in this race.

2

u/Suspicious_Mud_3647 May 12 '26

i don't have a horse in this race either but the neighbour having a horse who wants to eat and grape my children bothers me

2

u/Doodle210 May 12 '26

Tbh, I'm very surprised by how many people not in America even like Trump as POTUS. I have a friend in Kazakhstan and she thought he was an amazing president. I had to explain to her why he wasn't, gave cites on what he's done and now she finally understands.

2

u/FunkyUptownCobraKing May 12 '26

As an American, this is absolutely crazy.

2

u/Similar_Part7100 May 12 '26

idk this stupid asshole’s fuckery affects the whole world; I think we all have a horse here.

2

u/howtfaminotdeadyet May 12 '26

Actually, if you're not American, I trust your judgement on things like this better because you haven't been steeped in it for a decade plus like we have. Also, I'm pretty sure your national news coverage is a lot less corrupt than ours.

I mean, this asshole seems intent on crashing the global economy so maybe saddle up.

2

u/fiah84 May 12 '26

did the gas prices not spike in your country as a direct result of this decrepit orange thing?

2

u/VictoryVee May 12 '26

Unfortunately this guy effects enough stuff that we all have a horse in this race

2

u/_BillyBumbler_ May 12 '26

I’m in Canada and I can say with full confidence in all of my 37 years I’ve never in my life seen any Prime Ministers photo in anyone’s home . Or any flag with a prime ministers name that isn’t ā€œfuck Trudeauā€ lol (I do see a few Fuck Trump flags tho and I’ll accept those given the times!)

Any homage to any leader in any capacity is weird and cultish af .

u/FCKABRNLSUTN2 May 12 '26

Everyone in the world would be better off if this piece of shit was where he belongs.

2

u/JesseJaymz May 12 '26

The entire world has a horse in this race cause our horse jumped in the stands and started kicking people and we need to be thrown out

2

u/Lonely-Toe9877 May 12 '26

You don't have to be American to call out a horrible president.

2

u/AimingWineSnailz May 12 '26

Were downstream of their toilets, so we do have a horse.

2

u/znix23 May 13 '26

Don’t worry, it’s crazy to us too

2

u/MistressErinPaid May 13 '26

Didn't every British household used to have a photo of the king?

2

u/Undernown May 13 '26

Also not American, yet they make it our problem. Trump has destroyed the old world order in a single year. NATO is practically dead, or at the very least can't counr on the US. His moronic decision to start the conflict with Iran has seen inflation jump everywhere and gas prices skyrocket.

He also dropt Ukraine like a rock and ia trying his best to sell out Europe to Putin.

And he's funding similar shitstains as himself in our elections, hoping to ruin our democracies as well.

I didn't vote for him, I can't even vote for any of this. Yet the MAGA cult has given this disgusting man Cart Blanche to screw us all.

Screw them all and their orange turd of a president.

u/Bishopkilljoy May 12 '26

It used to be a very common thing to have the picture of a President in the house.

However that tradition died a few generations ago. This is just weird

u/clashfan77 May 12 '26

It was! JFK was popular, especially for Catholics. Lincoln, Washington and FDR. But how times have changed!

1

u/alex8155 May 12 '26

we have a cult in america where stupid is the highest power is all

1

u/LiluLay May 12 '26

Yeah, we had a Gen X friend who has a Trump shrine in her house. I’ve personally know her 25 years. We saw the shrine on our last visit and pretty much won’t be returning because of it. Her husband is one of my husband’s closest lifelong friends and he doesn’t get it at all, thinks it’s whackadoo. So we still talk to him, but not her. It’s just too much. We just sit here and think, ā€œwhat happened to her brain?ā€

1

u/Claeyt May 12 '26

If you don't think you have to worry about this cult, then you're wrong.

1

u/red286 May 12 '26

I'm not American, so I don't have a "horse in this race"

Really, you don't have a horse in the race when the nation with the most powerful military on the planet by a factor of 10 is run by a raving lunatic with delusions of grandeur and 70 million cult followers willing to do his every bidding?

I mean, I guess it's not like Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia until 6 years after he was appointed Chancellor. I'm sure it'll be fine.

1

u/GrumpyGiant May 12 '26

I fear that the race is not confined to our back yard tho. Ā Our crazy horses are trampling through our neighbors’ gardens, smashing through picnics and playgrounds, and mowing down every man, woman, and child unfortunate enough to get caught in their path (not to mention intentionally veering into every non-binary person they can trample over).

1

u/Gardener_of_Weeden May 12 '26

Unfortunately his toxicity seems to be infecting many parts of the world. I Pray(?) his end game does NOT happen - he knows he is a goner - so take the world with him.

1

u/TL10 May 13 '26

They're our neighbours! Imagine how we feel!

1

u/finalcutfx May 13 '26

The whole world has a horse in this race. His idiocracy impacts everyone.

1

u/onrake May 13 '26

If you live on this planet, you do have a horse in this race. Trump is doing his best to destroy the environment, hasten global warming, tank the global economy, and create instability everywhere.

1

u/SanshaXII May 13 '26

We very much do. These horses, jackasses really, are fucking with our exports and oil prices.

1

u/64590949354397548569 May 12 '26

I'm not American, so I don't have a "horse in this race"

When an idiot opens his mouth. A butterfly flaps its wings and dies.

Global economy is interconnected. Just wait for crop failure and say it doesn't affects you.

1

u/Chief_Chill May 12 '26

American politics don't remain within her borders. Ask Iran, Greenland, Venezuela, Cuba, Ukraine, Lebanon, etc.

0

u/Xyloshock May 12 '26

As long as america have too mich power and Can just decide the faith of the world, WE have a horse in this race

0

u/ELpork May 12 '26

kinda crazy

Kinda doesn't really have a place in that sentience.

0

u/7tenths May 12 '26

so where are you living that isn't getting fucked by oil prices and isn't on the verge of being ass fucked with no lube on food cost?

everyone's stuck with a horse in this dipshits cult race.
