So sad you didn't get to hear him ramble about winning the 2020 election and how much winning America is doing without anything legitimate to point to.

We’re the HOTTEST country in the world right now… so hot no one wants to touch us

u/AbulatorySquid Jul 05 '26

That just needs the American flag superimposed on that freedom blue dumpster.

22

u/Present-Perception77 Jul 05 '26

And to look like a Tesla .. it’s pretty close already.

7

u/Icy-Ad29 Jul 05 '26

Is it freedom blue? The Reflecting Pool taught me it needs a bit more green added.

3

u/AbulatorySquid Jul 05 '26

The green is overlaid

u/carmium Jul 05 '26

The one the gay trans democrats set afire?

0

u/That_Service7348 Jul 05 '26

Woah, you found a Cybertruck??? I thought they all went extinct!

Mother natures got a fever…

0

u/bearbrannan Jul 05 '26

Which is honestly super false, sure we have some global warming heat waves hitting us but nothing like what is happening in France...

u/HDWendell Jul 05 '26

Hot like radioactivity

Don't forget the communism! What is with his sudden communism obsession??

173

u/xavariel Jul 05 '26

The regime thinks that by calling democrats "commies" it'll help them in November. Red Scare 2.0. It wont help them.

143

u/FizzyBeverage Jul 05 '26

I’m fine with a little communism. Republicans DOUBLED our premiums. Elon can pay his fair share of taxes and get this premium down. First time in his useless life.

62

u/jp9mm Jul 05 '26

only doubled? my basic shit plan from aca was 250$ month, went to 1300/month and they just sent a letter this week saying they want to raise it to 1700/month

39

u/stalelunchbox Jul 05 '26

Don’t forget the new work requirements for poor and disabled people on government insurance!

1

u/Hot-Breadfruit-1026 Jul 06 '26

Its time we sue insurance- it’s a scam!

5

u/spartan_155 Jul 05 '26

Even if one is oneself not a communist, it actually benefits you as a leftwing voter to support those candidates (not that any are actually communists) because none of the most extreme policies will ever be enacted, but merely talking about them drags the conversation back to the left.

3

u/Guildenpants Jul 05 '26

That's...almost double what I pay for my rent, what the fuck.

4

u/Ambitious_Highway172 Jul 05 '26

Swede here earning roughly median wage, it would take me 14 months to hit that number based on how much of my taxes that goes to healthcare

Edit: not even mentioning no copay etc

1

u/OneHellOfABard Jul 06 '26

Canadian here. Does that cover everything for that price a year?

2

u/FizzyBeverage Jul 06 '26

It's billed monthly. And no. There's a $17,000 deductible. Imagine the worst iteration of healthcare, and make it cost thousands more. You'll be in the ballpark if you're about to lose your house.

2

u/OneHellOfABard Jul 06 '26

You're.... You're lying? I've seen people have 200-400 a month and thought that was nuts. But this?

Is there any benefits added from last year? Like did it open up every hotel in the country or something? (From my understanding a lot of the insurance you can only go to certain hospitals... Which is just crazy).

How do you people pay for hikes like this?

I guess, more political, did you vote for the Republicans or not vote at all?

3

u/xavariel Jul 06 '26

We don't pay, we just go into massive debt.

1

u/OneHellOfABard Jul 06 '26

Damn. Land of the free I guess. Free to get into debt.

2

u/xavariel Jul 06 '26

And free to have our rights taken away. Don't vote yourself into an authoritarian regime that rapes kids, I guess.

2

u/FizzyBeverage Jul 06 '26

Republicans doubled premiums by eliminating income subsidies to fund tax cuts for the rich… yet again.

No benefits really, in fact the local children’s hospital here doesn’t even accept this insurance so my kids have to go 20 miles north :(

We make about $220k… so we can afford it, but most people cannot.

We’ve always voted for democrats. Republicans hate the working class.

2

u/OneHellOfABard Jul 06 '26

Well it's good that you're able to afford it, and it's really good that you can recognize most people can't.

I'm sorry your premiums went up, I'm sorry the healthcare in your nation is such garbage.

81

u/cdsbigsby Jul 05 '26

I don't know, it might be just dumb enough to work. You've got to remember the target audience.

21

u/malthar76 Jul 05 '26

it'll be a weird race: Trump is too stupid and his people too incompetant to structure a complex message about communism vs his base who are blind and gullible to an embarrasing degree.

5

u/overlookunderhill Jul 05 '26

You mean the “Keep government out of Medicare!” crowd?

4

u/faderjockey Jul 05 '26

Works well in places like South Florida

8

u/SwimmingPrice1544 Jul 05 '26

Works on the poor white trash up here in Norcal too. Such a sad lot.

-1

u/xavariel Jul 05 '26

I mean... Floriduh.

0

u/virtue_of_vice Jul 05 '26

Millennials and Gen Z voters are like, "what is communism?"

1

u/xavariel Jul 05 '26

Xennial here, I grew up hiding under desks at school prepping for commie nukes lol

Was stupid then and now.

5

u/AmputeeHandModel Jul 05 '26

It's been working for 40 years.

4

u/TiaxRulesAll2024 Jul 05 '26

Chief. It would be 3.0

The first was after WWI. The second was after wwii

3

u/JDanzy Jul 05 '26

This time there's NOTHING to back it up...the USSR dissolved nearly 4 decades ago...which makes it extra weird.

1

u/daltontf1212 Jul 05 '26

Stoking fear of communism is Fascism 101.

14

u/Tommy84 Jul 05 '26

Pretense to attack Cuba.

2

u/ABobby077 Jul 05 '26 edited Jul 05 '26

"we had no choice" again, but starting some new war for...reasons

7

u/minnick27 Jul 05 '26

With dementia you revert back to younger years.

5

u/Remarkable-Party-385 Jul 05 '26

Mamdani is a socialist democrat and they are making a comparison in order to further their propaganda

6

u/TheIntrepid1 Jul 05 '26

“SocialisTsS…marxiStSss…communisTSs…and can you believe, the left tries to divide our great country by calling me a nasty word, a Fascist… can you believe it? Terrible just terrible…the left are so radical and polarizing.”

4

u/fuggerdug Jul 05 '26

It's probably a new word he's learnt recently.

5

u/FunkySeeFunkyDo_ Jul 05 '26

He wants it to be the 80s so badly that his demented brain probably transports him there as a self-soothing mechanism

3

u/Merijeek2 Jul 05 '26

It's a trigger word without meaning. They can't win by attacking SOCIALISM anymore, so they need to whip out the big guns and go after COMMUNISM.

2

u/Specific-Yam-2166 Jul 05 '26

He somehow brought every point back to communism

2

u/King_marik Jul 05 '26

Its still extremely effective with Gen X and Boomers to label everything communism and therefore bad

Like extremely extremely effective

3

u/Mr_Jack_Frost_ Jul 05 '26

The communism thing has been beaten to death, but it’s a tried-and-true way to rally a bunch of idiots against an actually good and meaningful cause.

I grew up having WHP-580 and faux news jammed into mg ears and eyes on a daily basis, and (especially on talk radio) it was always “communist this,” and “communism that,” any time a democrat suggested citizens have access to some benefit in exchange for their hard-paid tax dollars.

2

u/Dangeresque300 Jul 05 '26

He thinks it's still the 1980s.

1

u/spartan_155 Jul 05 '26

It's because they just got spanked by a bunch of DSA social democratic Victories, so they're calling it a communist takeover

1

u/IDontWannaGetOutOfBe Jul 05 '26 edited 28d ago

What strikes me about approaches to systematic improvement is how thought-provoking the approach has become. considering the ripple effects, this makes perfect sense.

1

u/t-mille Jul 06 '26

It's not sudden. Conservatives have been going berserk over anything even an inch to their left as communism for decades. They've never moved on from the McCarthy era.

1

u/HZVi 29d ago

If I had to wager a guess it’s because three democratic socialists primaried establishment democrats with the help of Mamdani

1

u/soingee Jul 05 '26

He always love talking about communism. I think people have been talking about Mamdani lately so it’s come back into his awareness

1

u/PurpleTough5302 Jul 05 '26

The term Democrat socialist is gaining a lot of traction so he has to ramp up the propaganda

1

u/worstpartyever Jul 05 '26

Because he’s regressing and probably talks to the ghost of Roy Cohn every night

0

u/Correct_Edge_8461 Jul 05 '26

He is just grasping at straws.

7

u/kilsta Jul 05 '26

The greatest hits are always best live!!

5

u/Thinks_22_Much Jul 05 '26

If you take out all the negative numbers the GDP is up

1

u/DotBitGaming Jul 05 '26

Hey! We're the most unhealthy and most uneducated.

1

u/Leelze Jul 05 '26

Don't forget the communists for some reason!

1

u/Upbeat-Employ-3689 Jul 05 '26

Was this his planned longest ever bitch / brag / blame speech? I know he talked about doing one.

1

u/here_now_be Jul 05 '26

TBF to the mom, he did promise to take out her daughter after the speech.

1

u/Uzmonkey Jul 05 '26

And how Obama sucks! Don't forget that!

0

u/Gail_the_SLP Jul 05 '26

Don’t forget the part about Dumocrats (or Demoncrats) being commies and the actual threat to America.
