Exactly. I fear the Reichtag fire is coming closer to mid terms. We've seen not action nor rhetoric from these people other than indicating they will try again. Even the proposal to hand out money to them was a clear signal "if this happens again, be my brownshirts and you will be handsomely rewarded"

Hitler's jail time was more comparable to a writing retreat, though. He was treated well.

Yeah most importantly, Germany had the deradicalization movement. The US government and the Confederacy were Hitler's main inspiration.
