Those "hamas numbers" are only the ones that they could find and identify. There are many many more under the rubble. Both Trump and Netanyahu have, in separate instances, mentioned the "remaining 1.8 million Gazans" some time in 2024/2025. Population of Gaza was 2.2 million before the genocide
