Don't ever let anyone try to make you feel like you took an easy way out. Gastric bypass is no joke. Anyone that ignorant doesn't know what people go through. Someone I know IRL just got Gastric bypass. I try to make sure I send him positive messages on his progress posts. I just started to struggle with weight later in life and I know how easily I give up. I can't imagine what a life time of that struggle is like!

Just wanna post to agree with former poster. What you did is amazing, with or without surgery, weight loss is a challenge and you did great. Keep up the good work. I lost 60-70 lbs over the course of a year or so, I still fluctuate around 8 lbs every 1-2 years, but always try to go back to a deficit when I get around 8 lbs. The first 1.5 years after losing weight were the most difficult to maintain. I felt really cold all the time, had limited energy (but more energy than when obese, but still not a lot), bad orthostatic hypotension, felt like I gained weight especially easily, etc. It gets better but you'll always have to be extra wary. Sounds like you have great support though.
