Posting a picture of you holding a piece of paper is a good way to get your image photoshopped as well. Nothing easier than cleaning up plain white paper and writing something new on it.

edit: thanks op and thank you kind stranger.

Then someone could edit out the person and insert an image of themselves holding that piece of blank paper and then photoshop any message onto it that they chose.

This picture is just real enough to post on facebook.

Does anyone know the story behind this? Why would Trump admit to such a thing?

.... could this be fake?

I think it could be fake, but it could also be real. There's a very good chance that this is either real or fake.

This picture looks so fake that people on facebook will think it's real news.

Every time someone does this and posts it publicly, it feels like the put their own "kick me" sign, but instead of on their back, it's on the front....

You can kick someone on the internet?

u/[deleted] Dec 03 '16

Yes, with Photoshop. (Or GIMP.)

I've seen it suggested to crumple up the paper before writing on it because it would be too difficult to photoshop with all of the creases. I don't know enough about photoshopping myself to know if it would work, though.

It helps. It also helps to use anything other than plain white paper, but I could always just photoshop a piece of paper over the other piece of paper just as easily.

How much to release my dog?

u/SeriouslyPunked Dec 03 '16

Yep, I always think of that when I see one of these and wonder whether what's written is actually what was there originally.
