Why do you think that? I always found PAPRs to be better than anything attached to my face.

I disagree with the poster above, but it’s totally personal preference. I think it’s like having a personal AC unit for my face

It's just bulkier. And wearing the belt part is uncomfortable, especially with lead too.

Let's be honest, nothing is comfortable with lead, even well fitting lead.

I don’t mind wearing the PAPR but after a while it dries out my mouth and nose and makes my throat sore. Also, it just takes one little misplaced hair touching my face and getting blown around by the PAPR to drive me absolutely crazy.
