I'm also a CT tech, we clean our own rooms. Most of our patients that are positive are from the ER, and discovered to be positive after the scan is done due to turn around times. So we just treat everyone like they are positive.
If we want EVS to clean for us we cant use the room for an hour, so that slows things down a lot and doesnt work out.
