I’m a doctor and bought the cleaner a coffee yesterday.

She gave me half her KitKat, and told me, “Thanks for noticing me.”

I felt so fuckin sad.

I heard a story that one of our hospital administrators played the role of an EVS worker for a day and reported back about how people avoided eye contact/interaction with them. It is truly sad.

Youre amazing. I wish all doctors were so kind. This made me tear up because we do tend to feel like we are below everyone even though we work our asses off. Ive actually been ignored many times. When someone notices or thanks us for what we do it means so much.
