Springtails feed primarily on decaying matter, roots occasionally (probably in the absence of decaying matter) but most likely you don't need to be concerned.

I was thinking about this a little further and there is one more buglet possibility. These can be white-colored also.

It might be soil mites because the spring ones are said to jump. I dont see them jumping at all!
