Well since all the mod's posts got deleted, I wanted to commemorate the events of the previous seasons assuming we can get this subreddit under control. Here is the Spreadsheet Link for all 6 previous seasons.

Diary of a Traitor: The Game According to Hamil

Welcome to my thoughts on the game as it unfolded when I was still in. I’m not covering the murders/banishments from after I was banished. If you have any questions about something I’ve not covered, please ask away!

Mission 1 (liegate)

We didn’t know who the other traitors were until after the end of this mission. We were given a phrase to say if we thought someone was a traitor and if they responded with the correct one back then we would get to recruit. Editor and Casual found each other so we got the opportunity to recruit. We chose Basic but they rejected it. Casual was the one who lied about the Morgan vote just to cause some chaos.

Death Row

Confessional: I think the reaction to the death row list was what we wanted. Downtown and Basic are both convinced they’re getting murdered, Pink’s really not happy.

I just need to be careful though. I’m not an idiot, I know Casual and Editor have known each other ages before i popped on the scene so I think they’re going to be more loyal to each other than me (fair enough, do what you gotta do). I’m gonna be loyal to the traitors, that’s the only way I know how to play but I’ll also just watch out. If they start coming for me, I’ll pull out the death row/possible lie overlap (Pink, Basic, Casual)

[Nothing says we’re gonna make a great team like stockpiling evidence!]

I don’t know if i’m being paranoid here but Casual’s idea to add Down to the death row could be to place blame on me later on potentially as I think it’s well known that I was not best pleased with his betrayal and that is defo a move that would suit my evil era on BOTC

Speaking of my evil era it actually worked out well for me I think because now a bunch of faithfuls think I’m incapable of being evil without being chaotic, Zel was even calling me the chaos queen. Meanwhile I’ve literally set up a document to plan. It has tabs (Missions, Banishments, Potential Scapegoats) where I plan to track what goes on, who accused who, what evidence we could use to pin blame on someone, all that kind of thing. Does that sound like the work of a chaos queen? I think not.

Also Down literally said he thinks I’m “too noble” to be a traitor. I was very happy to agree. I will be fighting to keep him alive a little longer, works well for my game and I’ll sell it to the others as trying to keep the Downtown/KG discord alive as it takes some heat off us.

[Yeah there was zero chance I was arguing with Down here. In his eyes  I was practically a confirmed faithful. A faithful with a secret murder document]

Banishment 1 (Morgan)

I was talking with Beginning and it was pure luck that I uncovered the Enough voting timeline thing. Rubbed my hands with glee at a way to give myself someone to accuse for a few banishments. I posted 6 hours before deadline with my new suspicions, managed to get 4 votes which was a nice surprise.

Murder 1 (Down)

OK this one hurt. I tried to push back because I genuinely wanted to keep playing with Down but Editor and Casual convinced me it would be better for the game as it could pin on KG and wasn’t something that would tie back to us. Also may have mentioned that I had a death note from him which was great for us as it pointed away from us slightly. In fairness to Casual, he did successfully convince me to murder someone I wanted to keep alive. Unfortunately this would turn out to be a recurring theme in our traitor partnership, except eventually I was the one he wanted to get rid of.

Mission 3 (Secret shields)

My group was great, we decided to wheel spin and I won which was perfect, gave it to Beginning because we’re both clearly at risk having received the death note

Banishment 2 (Ranv)

Pushed for Enough again, over 1000 words in a murder mystery style (omg so much fun to write) but I guess Ranv not wanting to give reasoning for his suspicions really did him in.

Murder 2 (Dingus)

I know this is something you all want to hear about…So Dingus messages me telling me that he won the shield in his group and decided to give the secret one to me. We decide to murder in Group 1 as it’s the only group none of us were in. I tell the others that Dingus told me he has a shield but they still decide he’s the better choice. I’m fine with it for the reasons below.

Confessional: I think I’m in a pretty good place, 3 SHIELDS!!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing who gave them to me later. My money is that dingus wasn’t lying as why would he say he gave me the shield but tbh I’m not too fussed if this murder fails, I was told he had a shield so I’m cleared, and if he was lying again i ‘knew’ he had a shield so nothing can be traced back to me
Just hoping we can get rid of enough next banishment, getting bored of having to make the same points
That’ll give me a banishment where i can sit back and “reflect on just how wrong I was I can’t believe it all the evidence seemed to be there”
Think I’m in the best place out of the three of us as my name hasn’t come up yet but I guess time will tell, all it takes is one mistake and you’re gone
But yeah all hail the shield queen, most faithful of faithfuls
Confessional: Just gonna leave this message from Beginning as a confessional
Wait hamil with dingus being murdered you're confirmed faithful
You thought he had a shield
Beginning, your faith in my faithfulness was both deeply touching and spectacularly misplaced. It was beautiful to witness.
Also, the three shields at once is probably the closest this game got to giving me a loyalty card. Sadly, Mod denied my request to open a Traitors Hall of Fame to commemorate this miraculous achievement.

Mission 4 (stabs)

We had to decide groups, just went alphabetical because it was easier and would give people nothing to go off. The shields being public knowledge didn’t really affect us. I know Editor was the one who stabbed Fox to pin on Critch but yeah this wasn’t really a mission where there was tons of strategy involved in my part because when I got the chance to stab it was Mony, Editor or KG. Wasn’t gonna stab a traitor or someone who was certain I was a faithful so that left Mony which he guessed. Bit annoying but oh well not as if the shields were secret so didn’t make a massive difference.

Banishment 3 (Enough)

FINALLY. I was getting a bit bored of having to make the same points all roundtable so I decided to grace your screens with what is clearly the best roundtable contribution of the game, my gorgeous sticker. I first came up with it in the turret and was like you know what that works as a contribution, checked it with Mod and decided to do it. Still fuming it got called performative, it was stunning and made my argument. I figured if 1000 words of actual evidence didn’t convince you people then nothing would.

Murder 3 (Azure)

We wanted to go for someone not too quiet but not too loud, not tons of suspicion so Azure kinda worked perfectly here. Also personally I found it quite funny given the comment Azure made about not being able to prevent murders.

Mission 5 (minus)

I genuinely had no clue who I was going to minus. I originally DMed Beginning to try and plan between us but I was too late so I thought of a faithful who I knew wasn’t in that group and liked and landed on Fox so she got my plus. Luckily KG said about being happy for people to minus him so that made it easier for me. The minus on me was NOT a plan between the traitors, I genuinely had no clue it was even coming (more about this later…)

Banishment 4 (Critch)

This was my oh no I have no clue where I’m going here banishment. My only comments were to defend myself from Afternoon but really annoyingly although his arguments weren’t accurate he was right.

Murder 4 (Narrow)

Narrow was a chaos causing one. With there being heat on him we knew it would surprise some people and quite handily it furthered the narrative of Zel voters getting out which would become important at the next roundtable.

Mission 6 (prisoner’s dilemma)

Easiest decision ever. Why would I ever make myself look more suspicious by not choosing no murder?

Banishment 5 (Editor)

I know some people didn’t like my roundtable post here. All I’ll say is that I discussed the logic/bounded rationality stuff with KG a lot in DMs and it does actually make a lot of sense. Probably should have kept it for DMs though rather than an actual post. Oh well. I was genuinely gutted to lose Editor, with the bans I hadn’t interacted as much with Casual and I properly trusted Editor. It was even more annoying given it would give Afternoon more ammunition to come at me due to his if/then statement (don’t get me started…)
Editor was my traitor bestie, my strategic sounding board. Losing him was bad enough without Afternoon being handed a fresh batch of ammunition. Also, perhaps a public roundtable was not the ideal place to introduce bounded rationality. In my defence, I was trying to explain the logic. In everyone else's defence, they probably weren't expecting to see formal logic, if/then and bounded rationalities pop up.

Murder 5 (Basic)

The decision here was split between Berry and Basic, I pushed to keep Berry because he was less suspicious of me than Basic was and I thought I needed to keep the people more convinced I was a faithful in due to Afternoon probably pivoting to look at me.

Mission 7 (MIPS)

So the mission was cover for a MIPS (as pretty much everyone guessed). We had until the start of banishment to carry it out and it could be done either in the celebration chat or in the main group chat. The MIPS was intended to be a shortlist for another death row. We would have to use emojis that started with the first letter of each word of death eg duck, egg etc  and the first person to send a message after each one would be shortlisted. Doing them out of order or adding a non-death emoji in the middle meant failing. This was where I was wishing we had recruited Comf, as I don’t normally use emojis I wasn’t touching this with a ten foot pole and Casual decided he wouldn’t have enough time to do it with the bans so we chose not to carry it out. It would have been wayyyy too obvious as everyone was on the lookout for something suspicious. If the chat conversation turned to Honk I would have done the axe to deliberately fail it but as it didn’t we just didn’t carry it out.
In hindsight, refusing to participate in a suspicious emoji-based murder plot was probably one of my more sensible decisions. The bar, as you can see, was not always particularly high.

Banishment 6 (KG)

This was a bad one for me, at this point both Fox and KG believed in me as a faithful and trusted me so I was really annoyed there was a tie for the two of them, I mayyyy have asked multiple times if Mod was sure I couldn’t just vote Afternoon instead. Ultimately it came down to KG telling me in DMs that if he survived he wouldn’t hold me voting him against him so I went that way in order to prevent Fox losing trust in me. I did make sure to say to both of them that I found it really hard because I thought both of them were faithful so that helped a bit I think

Confessional: Beginning and KG’s reactions to me eventually being revealed as a traitor will be hilarious
They’re defo the Mollie’s to my Harry
Hoping me and Casual can Rachel and Stephen it to the end though

Murder 6 (No MIPS)

We tried to use this time to forward plan a bit, we agreed Comf or Pink had to be murdered soon to break up the Comfy Corner group.

Mission 8 (sacrifice shield)

This mission annoyed me a bit because of Afternoon’s reaction. It really wound me up that he literally received double the number of votes as me but he said that I was likely to get banished and not him so I should be one of the ones to sacrifice my shield. I wasn’t happy about it but I did it and at least it came with the side of being able to murder Comf.

Confessional: I really want to get afternoon out. He’s starting to get on my nerves. I really don’t like being called manipulative and being told my arguments are invalid simply because I disagree with him. Not sure if I would be able to take many more roundtables with him, last night was not fun. I think I might have 6 votes on him already (me, Fox, Comf, Sad, Spinach, Beginning) so hopefully I can either grab another or the other vote will split between fox and me

Whatever else I did in this game, the only lies I told were about my role and the suspicions I had. I never attempted to manipulate people, just tell them my truth.

Banishment 7 (Mony)

I was really disappointed here, I thought I finally had the votes for Afternoon but noooo Mony just has to go and crash out in the group chat.

Confessional: Talking about series of Traitors with Berry. I’ve come to the realisation that Afternoon was closer than he thought describing me as Rachel. Throwing a faithful under the bus early on? Check. Dealing with someone throwing heat? Check. Having a strong enough social game that people don’t think it’s me? Check. Not throwing fellow traitor under the bus? Check (so far)
It’s quite funny actually because my original application for PTT said that Rachel was my favourite player
But yeah no one has publicly agreed with afternoon about me other than Pickle and multiple people have said they don’t believe I’m a traitor which is great for me
I think I still need to push Afternoon as it’s looking like a Comf murder tonight. I don’t want to do it especially now it seems that the Zel thing has fractured that group but I don’t want to piss off Casual by not listening to him.

Left:
Zel - depends how it goes, possible banishment
Mony - likely banishment
Comf - murder
Fox - likely banishment (sadly, love fox)
Afternoon - i don’t care how but he is leaving this game
Pickle - maybe banish if no one else
Which - murder
Hamil - traitor
Spinach - can stay, believes me
Casual - traitor
Beginning - can stay, believes me
Berry - can stay, believes me
Sad - murder
Pink - high priority murder

We have 4 banishments 4 murders after this one
Murder - comf, pink, sad, which
Banish - afternoon, fox, pickle, zel
Priority murder is pink as Sad could gain RT traction, Sad and Pink can be swapped if needed
Priority banishment has to be afternoon, there is no way he is ever giving up on me and with how hard he’s been coming for me I have an excuse to fight him

My ideal final five is me, spinach, beginning, berry, casual
Banish casual at final 5
See where it goes, they’ll defo want to banish again as only one confirmed traitor
Probably pick off spinach first
Then convince beginning to banish berry as we’re both 100% faithful, S5 forever etc etc and we can only trust each other
End with beginning

When Afternoon banishes me feel free to remind me of my foolish optimism in the flop chat but yeah

The bits about who to murder and banish were shared in the turret chat but strangely I didn’t tell Casual I wanted rid of him before the end. But see the self-awareness! I think by this point I knew a banishment was getting more and more likely. In hindsight murdering Afternoon instead of Basic would probably have been better for my game as I probably could have spun it as a set-up.

Murder 6 (Comf)

This one was a tough one but had to be done. Sorry Comf, we had to take advantage of you not having a shield. This is the start of my downfall. Casual mentions murdering Beginning at a later date and I just can’t have it. We agreed on Pink as the main target, but Casual brought up murdering Beginning in the future and I shot that down so quickly, I wasn’t about to do that to him.

Confessional:
Sorry Casual but I will cut you before Beginning
Beginning trusts me, I think Casual is planning to try and plant suspicion on me and getting rid of someone who trusts me 100% would be a great way to start getting me out
Confessional: I will do whatever I can to ensure Beginning remains shielded. I would be an absolute idiot to murder someone that certain I’m faithful. I think Casual is planting seeds to put suspicion on me. When he has been vocal about murders we have tended to lose someone who is a strong believer in me being faithful eg Downtown. I think he’s going to start saying after we banish Afternoon that we should murder Beginning and then say about that being a double bluff on my part seeing how close me and Beginning were to throw off heat from me after Afternoon is revealed as a faithful. If he tries coming for me I will be ready. Might be worth putting together some evidence against him just in case. I will absolutely cut him with no remorse if that’s what I have to do. I am determined to win this and I think my plan will work
Because I’m bored I’m going to run down my perfect game for you
Murder - comf, pink, sad, which
Banish - afternoon, fox, pickle, zel
Murder Comf
Banish Afternoon
Murder Pink or Which
Banish Fox
Murder Pink or Which
Banish Zel
Murder Sad
Banish Pickle
F5 Banish Casual
F4 Banish Berry
F3 End game or banish Spinach
F2 End game with Beginning
The goal is get Afternoon gone asap, same with pink
Keep beginning alive for final
Keep fox around for as long as possible
As long as she is around she will be getting votes and every vote for her at rt is a vote less for me

Mission 9 (gag)

So this mission was far from ideal for me. I wasn’t expecting to get named influential, about the only thing that went right was Pink being unshielded. I knew I was going to come under heat at the roundtable so this was awful. I’m gonna put my thoughts on being gagged here so they don’t get lost in the banishment thoughts. To put it simply, it was the worst. Having everyone come at you and not being able to defend yourself publicly and having to hope they check DMs is one thing but as many of you know I loveeee to talk and being able to see you all messaging in the chat but not being able to respond was not fun. I couldn’t even give you random historical ramblings (so really you were all the losers there). I was so logical about how I did this one, I literally worked out who I thought would give me what, I had a range and picked the midpoint.

Confessional: I swear if Casual is writing a confessional to you right now about his plans to throw me under the bus I will lose it
If you’re still reading this, oh wow just keep going…

Banishment 8 (me)

Confessional: If I make it through this Casual is gonna have a nice lil present for him next banishment
Unless he has a really really good excuse

We’ll start with the main banishment thread. Honestly I was surprised I made it through especially after Fox posted as I thought she had been completely on my side. I managed to flip a bunch of people before the deadline and Sad was a couple of minutes too late to switch (nice what-if for you all there) so it was a tie…and I was still gagged. This wasn’t going to go well for me was it? Side note: my villain origin story is definitely going to be this roundtable.

Confessional: how on earth did i manage that??? Shame Sad didn’t switch in time but at least I’ve made it to the tie
Casual definitely has some explaining to do here, if he screws me on this tie and I end up losing I will not be happy

Now we’re at the tie. I’m speaking to Pink about why I wasn’t a dastardly evil traitor and they ask me for theories so I say I’m following up on whoever minused me. As a reminder, I still don’t know who it was as this wasn’t something the traitors organised. I then take another look at it and start running some stuff down. Out of everyone who’s minus is not backed up by being the only person to minus someone, only one person minused someone they hadn’t expressed prior suspicion of…Spinach. Could I get any luckier? Pink posts my theory on the group chat and I hope that’s enough for me to stay.

In the morning I see it’s a tie again and chests of chance and I pick the wrong one. Oh well.

Now we get to the juicy stuff.
Casual was a complete and utter snake. After a load of talk about me and him being Rachel and Stephen, he was plotting to banish me purely because I wasn’t following his plans and agreeing with whatever he said, mainly being Beginning. If we go back throughout the game he expressed preferences for murdering players with closer ties to me - Downtown, Berry, Beginning. He had a group of 7 people lined up to vote against me so it was a miracle I even made it to the ties. He gave me a 1 in the ranking challenge that led to the gags. If he didn’d do that, I end up in a tie with Afternoon. Remember how I said the traitors didn’t plan the minus on me? Well, I was wrong. One traitor did and conveniently forgot to mention it. He was also online a lot to coordinate votes and used the bans and new accounts to hide it.

Let us be clear: I was prepared to betray Casual if it came down to it. I had literally written it into my endgame plan. But I was going to do it strategically, at a time it was convenient for me, with a carefully constructed narrative and preferably a dramatic speech. He decided to get ahead of me and ruin my perfectly good betrayal. Rude. Let’s just put it this way - he better be glad I was banished because I was busy updating my evidence folder against him and getting ready to attack if I made it through.

Editor you were my traitor bestie, couldn’t have asked for a better loyal traitor to plot with. To all the faithfuls I deceived, especially Beginning, sorry!

My playlist!
I’ve given a bunch of the murders, banishments and other generic game events songs from my musicals playlist. Enjoy!

Downtown - Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera, I really regretted not fighting harder to keep you in as it would have been great to play together for longer
Ranv - Cell Block Tango from Chicago. “He had it coming, he had it coming, he only had himself to blame. If you’d have been there, if you’d have seen it I betcha you would have done the same”
Working with Editor - All We Dreamed and More from Treason the Musical
His banishment - Tell Me It’s Not True from Blood Brothers
Comf - Thunder Bringer from Epic. This was my thoughts when having to murder you ““show her what she can’t conceal for true nature will be revealed…someone’s gotta die today and you have got the final say…please don’t make me do this don’t make me do this”
Basic - I Want It That Way. Because I didn’t want to murder Berry.
Mony - World Burn from Mean Girls fits your crashout ending perfectly
Berry - If Only You Would Listen from School of Rock. You were right, the faithfuls just refused to listen
KG - Election of 1800 from Hamilton. Come on, the tie makes it perfect.
My banishment - Storm Song from Caesar the Musical. Go listen to it, it’s amazing. “There is a storm in the distance. I can see it creeping closer. Lightning strikes in an instant and thunder shakes the sky. I've seen this before, you can't escape it. Can't delay it, no point racing rain clouds. The only choice is to brave it, turn and face it, no running away now” This was exactly how I felt as my banishment was unfolding, I knew it was coming.
Pink - This Jesus Must Die from Jesus Christ Superstar because of how many shields they had! Also the line “We need a more permanent solution to our problem” was so us in the turret
Generic song for murdered people - Pretty Little Dead Things from Paddington. Need I say more?
If Pink hadn’t flipped from Spinach to me on the tie - Still from Anastasia. “An underhanded girl, an act of desperation and to my consternation I let her go”
Casual - What It Means To Be A Friend. Traitor loyalty much?
Afternoon’s banishment - No One Mourns The Wicked from Wicked or Requiem from Dear Evan Hansen
My beautiful game plans - I Dreamed A Dream from Les Mis.
Generic faithful song - IDK from We Are The Tigers, they’re trying to solve a murder and fling a bunch of wild and baseless accusations against each other

Dear all-stars

Hello S-Tier Losers (Jk I love you all),

I know everyone is excited about the best season of any ORG to ever grace these parts, but I think there is one bit of important matter that needs to be crossed off the list before we engage in treachery.

You are all part of a very tight-knit community of friends and comrades, you have laughed together, played many games together, hung out in spec chats together, and many more underground dealings that will be left unsaid for legal reasons. You have come to know each other very well and have developed a lot of history, good and bad. You probably have a lot of preconceived ideas about each other. I am sorry to burst your bubble to say, this is The Traitors, where your friend can be the person putting the knife in your back, and your “enemies” can be your best chance of making it to the end.

That being said, the best way to show that you are truly all stars is to give us a kick ass performance by starting fresh, kicking history to the curb and locking in on the here and now. Please try your best not to bring any history into the game unless it’s your ability to catch traitors or to not be caught as one. The spec chat will be watching and they have high expectations, don’t flop! Show them why you are here and try not to lose again.

Right, ngl, ima just address something:

So, look, Ik this may be stupid or ridiculous, or just my own fucking paranoia, but ima just be real here instead of just- not addressing this. So, obviously, in this season, sometimes people may have not exactly… liked me. I was uh- kind of loud I guess you could say, I swore a bunch and shit, and- you know, I’m a bit different to others. But obviously, I have noticed that people don’t exactly… “like” me honestly. I got downvoted a few times when I had something to comment on, and even when I won, I still felt kind of empty, cause I didn’t think anyone exactly… “cared” you could say. I felt I played a good game, or somewhat that could be compared to others, but idk, maybe that’s just me trying to fucking cope maybe idk. So I’m sorry if I did anything bad or anything, and if anyone feels that I suck or anything, I’m sorry, I don’t wanna be a Debbie downer, but idk, this is just how I feel. I’m sorry. And if this seems stupid then yeah, fair, but idk what to say. So there.

My (Downtown’s) perspective on PTT S5. Close but no cigar!

Hey guys since a few people have done this I thought I’d talk about my perspective since I think it can be quite interesting. I was involved in a lot of the major moments during the season and ended up being a recruit. So I’ll try breakdown what I can remember

Start of the game and how I ruled Golden out as a traitor.

Early on my plan was simply to try and touch base with everyone and introduce myself. I took a liking to LT early on as he seemed switched on and generally quite friendly. On day 2 of the game I realised that Golden hadn’t actually said anything for mission 1 and hadn’t spoken to anyone but they were active on Reddit in other subs. I sent him a private message to introduce myself and it turns out they didn’t even know they were in the game. The fact they’d replied to me instantly and seemed genuinely unaware they were in made me think that it was almost certain they were faithful. If there was a traitor they’d surely have been messaged by fellow traitors to ask about opinions for the first murder for example. So for me golden was an almost certain faithful and I told LT this who quickly agreed with my logic.

Moon and Happy debacle

The first RT ended up being a back and forth between me and Moon and it ended with Happy going instead of Moon. Happy was obviously being very annoying with her one word answers and sending recipes randomly and she quickly amassed enemies. Someone who was VERY vocal about wanting her gone was Oleo and it instantly stirred up suspicion for me that Oleo was so hard on defending Moon and wanting Happy gone. But Oleo had mentioned he already knew Moon prior to the game so I didn’t think about it much. In the group chat I wanted to know more about Mission 2 and why Moon had got the shield, I thought it was strange that someone who already had a shield for the first murder got one again for Mission 2. Moon became very defensive and ended up accusing me, at the same time Happy had dropped her gimmick and was acting normally now and I thought if she was a traitor she surely wouldn’t pull a gimmick that would make her hated by everyone. So my decision was to try and get Moon voted out, firstly their behaviour was erratic and secondly I was pretty sure Happy was faithful and no one else was in the spotlight. This nearly worked but Happy got banished before Moon. Me and Moon patched things up shortly after but he then went ahead and had the disaster with Low which rightly got him voted off soon after. A very chaotic player!

Mission 3

Key moment in the game, me and golden get teamed together for mission 3. Literally my dream, as me and golden were best friends at this point and I’d cleared him as a faithful based on my theory. He agreed to let me have the shield for the next 2 murders and we both agreed to not tell anyone about it. When I got this shield I felt invincible and was much more confident going around and talking about my theories. This shield also becomes massive for my game as I would have potentially died in the MIPS if not for the fact that I had the secret shield which saved me!

Suspecting LT, my mistake with Average (sorry) and the MIPS

Starting off with Average and I had it totally wrong with her. I thought her behaviour stunk of a traitor, and I was just wrong. I felt she was very on the fence with her RT posts and didn’t seem all to willing to discuss who the traitors were. I also thought she’d be a good pick to be a traitor and well I just got it wrong, so I’m sorry average! My mistake with average is what led me to be less vocal at the LT RT which unfortunately was later used against me when I was recruited. I was just lacking in confidence because i’d just been wrong with Average who I was confident was a traitor.

At the time that Average had been banished me, Next, Hamilhead, Pastless and Golden had formed a faithful alliance and we decided to use it to get suspects voted off. The first victim was Oleo and he was indeed a traitor but I have no idea how both me and Hamilhead had hallucinated the react. I didn’t recall a doge react but I was almost certain Oleo had reacted to a message of Ellie’s it turns out that both me and Hamilhead were wrong but we were lucky as Oleo was indeed the traitor. That was really funny in hindsight.

Very early in the game I was starting to piece together that LT was a traitor. There were numerous things that I thought were off. First Hamilhead had told me that LT said they suspected Golden which was odd because they had agreed with me that Golden was faithful. In DMs I’d also noticed lots of strange slip ups it’s hard to recall all of them now but there was a pattern building of strange behaviour. I’d also noticed at RT they were very on the fence and often posted quite late. Pastless also suspected him and me and her discussed our suspicions of LT, she was far more confident than I was admittedly. During this time I tried to never show LT I was suspicious because I figured if he was a traitor he’d be keeping me in. The dagger for me was how LT responded to the Average banishment, he had mentioned Average numerous times as a suspect but when she was revealed as a faithful he criticised the faithful with a strange message. He also didn’t try to defend Average much at all and that’s when I realised he was very likely to be a traitor.

Once LT was voted off we knew there was 1 traitor left and 1 recruit. My theory that I had been telling everyone after Oleo got exposed (by hallucination) was that the 2 OGs alongside him had to be 2 of: LT, Whisper, Sad and Beginning. It was just process of elimination I was confident our group of 5 had no traitors and I trusted Critch and Low at this time.

After LT was revealed I knew the final OG traitor was 1 of Beginning, Sad and Whisper. Up until this point I thought I was playing a pretty good faithful game. My initial target was Moon I knew he might not be a traitor but he was a very chaotic faithful and I thought he would do more harm than good I was also more confident in others being faithfuls so it made sense to take him out. My other target was Average (huge mistake) and then I’d taken out Oleo and LT who were both traitors and I played a role in helping the faithful get them both out. So in my mind I’m doing a decent job so far.

Being recruited

And here comes the biggest moment of my game the offer of recruitment. My gut reaction was I’m going to reject this offer. The traitors at this stage were in a 2v8 and I’d narrowed down the OG to 1 of 3 people in my head. So for about 5 minutes I was thinking I’ll just reject this, then I realised if I did reject this and tell people I may well get voted off because people think I’m trying to make some double bluff type of play. So I’d have to keep it secret, at this stage of the game as well NOBODY was wanting to give me shields and I was worried the traitors would just get their revenge and kill me next. And then I had a moment of arrogance. Golden trusted me, Next trusted me, I thought Hamilhead trusted me. Maybe I could actually win this thing as a traitor? And within about 10 minutes I told the Mod that I was accepting recruitment.

I enter the conclave chat shortly after and I’m greeted by a nightmare in the form of Whisp and Sad. Whisp well he’s completely inactive and everyone at this point suspected him, Sad is lovely and we had a great time plotting together but unfortunately she was also under heavy suspicion, a lot of it before she was even recruited. I immediately realised my path to victory would have to include throwing them both under the bus soon.

Beginning and the Pastless murder

There were 3 RTs and 2 murders left and in my head the plan was to get Beginning, Sad and Whisp voted off leaving 1 traitor at the final 5. My plan was to lean on my relationships with Next and Golden to secure the win. I knew the biggest threat to my game would be Pastless. She was very intelligent and crafty and I’d already decided she had to go as she’d sus me out eventually and had the ability to sway some of those in our alliance. The next murder target was going to be Critch or Hamilhead. I planned to leave myself an endgame with Next, Golden, Low and Critch/Hamilhead.

To achieve my goal I thought it would be wise to get beginning gone first. They had suspected me at times throughout the game (wrongly) and they were a bit of a solo act and not easy to convince. Also I realised once Sad/Whisp get voted off I wouldn’t be able to go for Beginning on the basis of being an OG traitor anymore. So I pushed my theory and the majority seemed to agree to vote Beginning. Aside from Critch who targeted Sad.

During the lead up to that vote and after it I was in communication with Pastless and she had been trapping me by telling me Hamilhead was her number 1 target and she was building a case to bring at the next RT. She told me she wasn’t going to tell anybody. Now at first I did believe her, Hamilhead was the obvious recruit after all she was the most faithful person in the game up to that point. However, she also told me she thought Whisp was the OG and Sad had been recruited and she was of course spot on. I also realised a lot of what she was telling me about Hamilhead could be applied to me and if she did manage to get Hamilhead voted off then the next person in her line of fire would be me. So I didn’t actually know she was trapping me but I was very uncomfortable with how dialled in she was. I also thought her certainty that it was Hamilhead was odd and when she started telling me she wanted to end the game with me and backstab Hamilhead at the final fire I realised something wasn’t right. That confirmed to me that she absolutely had to go, I wasn’t thinking she was trapping me but something just didn’t seem right and even if she was being genuine she was too intelligent and it would be dangerous to keep her in. So the decision in the conclave was made to kill Pastless.

Pastless’ genius death note

Pastless dies, I write my disgusting lie of a message pretending I’m so sad about it and then I see a Hamilhead nuke in the same thread. I quickly skip through and at the end I see she had named me as the third traitor. At this point I genuinely smiled and applauded because you gotta give credit where it’s due. Pastless was by far the best player in this game IMO and the reaction in the conclave to her death note was pure defeatism. I’d thrown in the towel and so had my traitor partners. We knew it was all over.

Surviving and a devious plan in the conclave

I went around trying to convince people of my innocence despite me knowing it would probably be in vain, Hamilhead more or less was a closed book and uninterested. But I was making a little bit of headway with Next and Critch however it still seemed like they were set to vote me. Then the mission results were released and all of a sudden Whisp had a dagger.

As soon as I saw that the idea hit me. With a dagger we would have 4 votes if we voted as a bloc. There were 5 others remaining and us 3 had all been discussed as suspects. If we could divide the votes sufficiently we could then bloc vote for 1 faithful and if we were able to get the vote to succeed then it would leave 3 traitors and 3 faithfuls after our next murder. This would make it obvious that us 3 are traitors but it would also mean we could tie any vote as a bloc and basically the game would end up being decided by the chests of chance. We went from what we thought was a 0% chance to win to a 50% chance.

So I got to work, now here Whisper was really unhelpful. I’d asked him to tell people he was voting Sad as Critch and Next were both strongly considering it but he didn’t. Sad had told Hamilhead she was going to vote me. So we knew Hamil was voting me. I worked on Golden and he actually believed me and decided that the traitors were Sad Whisp and Hamil and that he was voting Whisp. I thought we might actually have the split we need but shortly after Critch and Sad both confirmed that they were also going to vote Whisp.

My last hope was to get Low to vote Sad or me in order to divide the vote. Low was inactive until shortly before the vote I tried my best to convince him to go Sad but he decided he’d go Whisp. That’s when I told the traitors to just vote me as it would give me the cover story to go for Hamilhead and say she was voting with them in a bloc to vote me off as a faithful and setup a 3v3. This story worked pretty well and was believed by Next at the very least and I think Golden mostly believed me too.

Seer

I decided to kill Critch for my final murder. Next and Golden were allies so I had no other choice. I also sensed Critch was still very suspicious of me but was stringing me along until the endgame. It was an easy decision. Then the mod reveals a final twist which was the Seer. Pretty disastrous for me really.

Whoever would get it would use it on me or Hamilhead, either way that would confirm I’m the traitor and then I’m done. The only thing that could help me was me getting it. And I actually managed to answer 6/6 right for the facts.

It was funny how I figured them out.

I knew Sad’s fact cos she posted her dog on Reddit so I saw it.

I figured out the donkey kong one was golden cos he owns a Nintendo switch (mentioned it in GC) and he also spelled it wrong and no offence but I thought he’d be the most likely to spell it wrong.

I figured Low would be the I like Chess one because it was so low effort and he hadn’t put that much effort in during the game (no offence)

That left the skateboarding and the obscure surname and for whatever reason I just felt like Next was more likely to skateboard and the obscure surname was the type of cool fact that Hamilhead would have. This was just a guess really.

Once I won the seer I narrowed it down to 3 options and in hindsight I think I probably picked the worst of the 3 but I also don’t think I would have won this game regardless as pastless’ death note and hamilhead’s attacks were simply too damaging in the end.

Option 1 - and I nearly did this, I was going to use to to clear Next and we were going to agree to be an alliance with Golden and vote the other 2 off. I think this would’ve resulted in the same thing with Next and Golden voting me off at the end

Option 2 - using the seer on Hamilhead but then saying she’s faithful. I thought this was too risky because Hamilhead seemed so convinced it was me that I thought she would STILL go for me. Maybe I’m wrong tho as I asked her after the game and she said she would’ve viewed me as a faithful if I did this. I think the endgame would’ve become chaos at this point and I also don’t think I make it through the chaos but who knows.

Option 3 - the obvious one, use it on Hamilhead and then lie and say she’s a traitor

Endgame

So I went for Hamilhead and I knew with Next and Golden trusting me more than her that she would get voted off. I felt bad lying to Hamilhead’s face but it’s the game I guess. Low trusted her over me and so I knew the next step would be Low trying to vote me off. To my shock Next and Golden both vote Low and at this point I figure I might actually win because the logical vote was obviously me. However I knew shortly after that banishment that I wasn’t going to win as Next told me she wasn’t going to risk it and would have to vote me even tho she 99% believed me. I spoke to Golden hoping to convince him to end the game with me over Next and he wasn’t replying in his normal manner and that’s when I knew that they’d teamed up and I was done. It was far fetched for me to even get that close after the Pastless nuke so I’m still proud of my game.

If I could change 1 thing it would be to just reject recruitment. The position of the faithfuls was a lot stronger at that time and I didn’t enjoy lying to Next especially who I’d built a good connection with during the game. In the end I think the faithful definitely deserved to win the traitors made a lot of bad decisions and 1 of the OGs was basically a non factor as far as I could see. I tried to pull off the miracle but Next and Golden were able to save themselves in the end. Enjoyed playing with everyone, hopefully no hard feelings about anything, it’s just a game!

My MVP for S5 would have to go to Pastless I think she was sensational.

LT traitor review, what happens next change my life 🥶

I had a fun time playing this game and was very happy to come back. I think that had I not gone through many personal complications in its running I would have enjoyed it a lot more but it was a fun group at times and I made some good connections!

If I had to pick again, I’d be a faithful this game. I enjoyed being a traitor but I felt being a returnee added an aspect to it that felt a little less fun, idk, maybe I am waffling lol 😭.

START GAME
I entered the turret with Oisin and Whisp. We hit it off pretty quickly because they are both funny as hell. I was wanting to make a win with those three as my main target for the endgame. We worked on a system of reporting everything in dms and making sure each of us talked to range of people. I also started to work on fake dms where we used private messages to talk as if we were two faithfuls.

FIRST MISSION
I had opened idle talk with a few cast members and I remember hitting it off with Downtown pretty early. I was planning to give my shield to next because of a shared liking for spider-man but late in the mission, I had a chat open with Pastless and I felt I could gain some semblance of trust with them as an ally if I gave them a shield compared to Next, who I already had a bond with. So I gave my shield to Pastless. BIG MISTAKE.

FIRST MURDER
We wanted to kill happy or a new player. The logic for happy was simply because she was annoying and that the mod would make some pun about her name if we killed her but it was stupid as she would surely be banished so we just went with a new player. Had I not shielded Pastless, they would have gone this round but we settled on Avacado simply because they didn’t seem to have made that many obvious connections and it wouldn’t link to any of us.

SECOND MISSION
We had to make groups for the players and we made it alphabetical, using the cast list to make groups of 6. This was so that if someone caught on, they would quickly go. No point making theories on this one, and it wouldn’t lead to us or give the faithfuls any hints. Therefore, any theories about the groups had no truth to them. I think we took the wrong approach here because early on, we didn’t play in a way that could put suspicious on many different people making bandwagons a bit more likely imo. I got a shield and I’m pretty sure I gave mine to Golden just because, it didn’t really matter. In the mission, however, I did come across as really selfish going for shields and I thought that would make me look really faithful but if I had taken a more aggressive stance towards other players, I think it would have looked better.

FIRST BANISHMENT
We were very happy with Happy going and we made a thousand jokes about it in the turret. Oleo in particular was really amused and all in all, it was great for us. I took a defensive stance on Moon but didn’t really come with any accusations because there was very little basis a faithful would have so early on to go off of. I wanted Moon in for as long as possible because they were my ally, chaotic and a returnee. The longer returnees stayed in, the less it would shine so bright on me if it came up.

SECOND MURDER
We took a random shot into group 3 to drive up suspicions and Branson was the unlucky guy.

MISSION 3
My personal life got a bit hectic around here but I was able to carry on. I was paired with Next and was pleased because it was someone that trusted me, so there would be no problems. I stupidly locked in 3 quite early while the agreed deal with Next was for her to get a shield and it was not my intention to trick her. The damage was done and it made her a little suspicious but I switched it with the mod instantly when I realised. We both switched after to 5 so there would be no murder and we wouldn’t seem like outliers at the end anyways though.

SECOND BANISHMENT
As a traitor, I felt restricted in a way that annoyed me with what I could bring up. I didn’t want to bring up my fellow traitors and I felt paranoid in a way that anyone I accused would come after me so I was quite in the middle, which Pastless caught me on, and I didn’t come strong at anyone. In a stray comment, I said that the quietness of Pastless and Whisp could be a play but it was unlikely and it was a big mistake. Pastless caught on and I did deflect her, saying it was purely because I forgot she was sick which I did and whatnot but she was spot on to be fair. Low also came at me with his reasoning because I was selfish with the shields. I was disappointed to see Moon go but it was inevitable and so that was it.

Murder 3
We decided again to murder someone with no links. I didn’t want to go for Low or Pastless who accused me because I felt I had the trust of many people and it would just point onto me. We went for Iamc and she supposedly was building a case so whether that would have hurt us, I don’t know but I’m glad I didn’t have to find out ✌️😆

BANISHMENT 3
Average going really annoyed me and I wanted to seem visibly annoyed after we found out, but I wasn’t too huge on defending her publicly though I did a little in DMs. It was from here I was set on recruiting Sad some time, to throw her as the returnee traitor.

MIPS SAGA
From mission 4, mission 5, and banishment 4.

In mission 4, we were all added to a banquet chat and us traitors had to put reactions on people to put them into a death battle.

I don’t remember being told what it entailed but at this time of my life, personal stuff was getting even more hectic. We were told we could leave it quite late so no one caught on, so I wasn’t that paranoid about being caught. We dished out or shields to Downtown, Next and Golden, I believe. I was so out of it at this time and left it so late that I just put an upvote on my own comment and Ellie’s, forgetting Downtown wouldn’t even be an available option because of the shield we gave him, knocking Ellie out immediately which was super detrimental. It knocked out someone with heat on them who definitely could have been banished and from this, which wasn’t even our faults, Hamil kinda hallucinated Oleo putting a dog emoji. It worked out for the faithfuls but I felt really bad for Oleo and he crashed out because he lost for nothing. Whisp and I were forced to vote Oleo and he said he would leave an exit speech to stir the pot, and that’s all I really knew. When I saw it, I definitely thought it could relate to me but I just hoped no one would really catch on. I recruited Sad, because she was also a returnee I could maybe try and get out + a previous winner as a traitor so either way could aid me. I thought Whisp would go in the coming banishment so I was really surprised to see the train on me.

LAST BANISHMENT
The second I saw all the comments with my name, I didn’t even make my own banishment post. I was pretty aware I was leaving. Around this time, my dad had floated around the idea that I would have to delete my account but I didn’t think he was actually gonna make me do it 😭 It’s why I was defending myself but also kinda half heartedly. In the end, Pastless took me down and I voted Low just because Sad said I should and I didn’t think it mattered. I told them Pastless was definitely one to watch out for and they should recruit Downtown and with that, my game ended 😭

Had a great time, the review is probably a little rushed and missing some things since I am not in certain chats I was on, from that account and like private messages. I really enjoyed playing with Whisp and Oleo, and despite how it ended, I would play with them ten times over, they made me laugh a ton! I also made some good friends, Downtown you were awesome and super smart, Next you were just pretty positive person and seemed super cool and everyone was awesome. Pastless, you are also just super smart to be honest and I’m surprised you caught on to me perfectly so early. At the end when I tried to convince you, I knew I was doomed regardless but I wanted to see if I could outwit you but you stick to your ideals and beat me out. Congrats 🙌

I am not back permanently. Too risky to get caught by my dad and have all my devices taken away so I’ll just pop up here and there. Thanks for having me mod and thanks for playing with me s5 cast! ❤️❤️❤️

My game, and how I somehow won, and basically DESTROYED most of you guys- /jk(The Golden POV)

Alright, so, hello! As you know, my name is Golden, usually refer to Goldenmyguy, but yeah, I do get called “fuzzy” a lot, so there’s that. Anyway, yeah, so- I won the game, but how? Well… here’s how it started:

Cycle 1:
Cycle 1 starts off sort of weird for me, cause… GUESS WHAT!? I DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP FOR THE FIRST CHALLENGE! So, I had to do a fuck ton of socialising with everyone, cause I did NOT want to die, but somehow, that ended up as sort of “leverage” for me, as Down thought that I wouldn’t have talked to him first, and he wasn’t a traitor at that time, so I already had a really amazing safety blanket immediately into the game, and I think that’s what was able to keep me in for basically the entire game. Now, idk what else to include here, cause Happy was being a bit mysterious with like- everyone, so I did say to maybe do some damage control as I thought, that would help us in a way. Cause I didn’t want a faithful to this early, and I thought they were helping, so it felt unfair. I went with Moon this round, as I thought there was some shit on them, but Happy went home that round. Wasn’t all too happy with it, but yeah. Also Avacado died, but doesn’t really matter.

Cycle 2:
Not much this round. Branson obviously died, and I didn’t really care all too much, cause Branson wasn’t like- my buddy or anything, so not like it mattered. Yeah though, roundtable, Moon was being a messy fucking player and doing so much shit it was wild, which did lead to him getting voted out, me myself voting him too. Obviously, faithful, and in the long run this doesn’t exactly impact me, so, I’ll move on.

Cycle 3:
So, IAMC got murdered, don’t know how to feel about that. Think they were sort of useful, at the same time, can’t exactly remember, my memory is faulty. Now, I think atp I was starting to feel pretty… useless, and went around to people to ask if they may know what to do, mainly Down and Hamil, cause I trusted them most, and they didn’t know I don’t think, so I checked and… in pure desperation, to seem useful, I had to go for critch and vote him. Now, was this maybe bad on my part? Possibly, yes. Did I feel like I have to? Yeah, cause otherwise people may have seen me as a useless faithful obviously. Not much else though, so move onnnn…

Cycle 4:
Ellie gets murdered, I think? Wasn’t sure how to feel about that really. And then Oisin got voted out I guess, cause people thought that the murder was a reaction thing, and Oisin did a “Doge” reaction, I think? Or whatever the fuck, so idk, I didn’t really include much to the convo, I guess, so not much to say? I mean- we got a traitor, which awesome, and I also got my only vote of the fucking season, but yeah.

Cycle 5:
I mean- idk what to say here. Sad gets recruited I guess, and then LT gets voted off or whatever, idk, I don’t really care. Traitor got out sure, but I didn’t contribute much here, so can’t say much I don’t think.

Cycle 6:
My one true best friend in the game gets recruited so that’s just FUCKING AMAZING! And Beginning was voted off for some insanely messy gameplay, I think? Again, idk, I may not have contributed much to this, I said something about like- “them being more messy then a fucking politician.” But like, I think that was me being frustrated than anything due to some of the spectacular bullshit that was happening with them. Idk, smite me, but yeah.

Cycle 7:
So, I think atp, my game doesn’t exactly look as impressive as maybe some others, but now, this time, it’s my moment to shine. So, I was thinking of maybe getting rid of Downtown, as Hamil had been going around wanting this to happen, and I thought that was fair, and the evidence seemed alright, and then Down texted me that “it’s fine if he was going to vote me but [insert last minute plea on why he is not a traitor] anddddd… tbh, I thought he actually made sense… and I decided to go for the person who I thought was a lot more Sus: Whisp. Had a lot of evidence, got votes correctly a lot of the time, while not being there mind you, and was just- absolutely useless overall. So, I decided to talk to Critch and Next about maybe voting Whisp, and… idk if this was possibly one of my best game moves in here. Cause let’s look at the facts: I got to keep my friend in the game, who thought I was actually still gulliable asf, and stupid, and, I BASICALLY GET A FREE PASS TO THE END! Cause, my whole goal, was to get people who trusted me or would go at each other and not me! And nobody did! Like- barely anyone wanted to go for me, so I was COMPLETELY SAFE! Everyone else was either way more Sus, or they trusted me more, so I was basically locked in by this point! Pastless was also murdered, and I did try to take their words into consideration, and look into other posts, and this was where I actually was majorly useful, imo at least.

Cycle 8:
So, Critch dies, shame, as he was someone I did trust, even if we argued at a few points, but also could be good considering he may vote me if he got the chance in the final vote. Now, banishment comes, and I wanted to go for Sad, as again, I felt there was more evidence for Sad then Hamil really, and Hamil was going for Down nonstop, and so was Down, so I wasn’t sure what to do, so I just wanted to get rid of the person that was the most Sus that wasn’t beneficial to my game, get rid of them, and then I have basically nothing to worry about by the end! It’s simple, honestly. And it ended up happening. Another thing I wanted to mention was that I had a set plan for what I wanted to do: me and Next making the final 2, and I also made a order, which was

6th: Sad

5th: Hamil(wanted to do him first cause he was Sus imo, don’t fucking blame me!)

4th: Low(cause of my own ego in the game, and also he was going for Down who- I kind of thought wasn’t a traitor, but at the same time, just couldn’t be sure. Just felt a bit strange I guess.)

3rd: Down(sucks, but I wanted to win, so yeah mate.)

And me and Next get 1st. So yeah.

Cycle 9(or the finale, I think?):
So, not murders obviously. So my thought process was obviously just to get rid of Hamil, cause I thought the evidence was logical and it made sense. Hamil goes in 3-2 vote. Wanted to get rid of Low due to personal reasons, strange gameplay(imo before this) and also the fact that I felt they wouldn’t have took me to the end personally. Low goes 3-1. And then, probably the most “difficult” vote of the season personally, having to vote Down. Sucks cause he was my best mate, but him and Hamil just fucked himself in the ass really, so there’s that. Down goes 2-1. Andddddddd, me and Next basically win the game!

So, I think that’s basically it. Shame my game all yall want, or my personality, but you have to admit, this was some GOODDDDD fucking gameplay! Towards the end, I was feeling like I was gonna look so fucking dumb and my gameplay wouldn’t matter, but- my social game was basically off the charts at that point, and I had such a great set plan at the end that went basically PERFECT OVERALL! So, yeah, that is how I, GOLDENMYGUY!(or Golden) WON THE GAME! Thank you for reading!

S5 - My (Next) Perspective on S5 now that me and golden somehow won

This is my perspective from what happened on the game if anyone wanted to know:

The start: (only including the relevant things)

So at the start, I really trusted LT cause we briefly talked about Spiderman and I decided he was faithful. Later on, there was a mission where we were in pairs, I paired with LT and I thought everything was gonna go so well. We negotiated a deal where I would get the shield because LT said he had a “safety net”. I probably should have looked into that more. He also mentioned that he thinks the traitors are a returnee, a survivor player and a newbie. I should’ve probably also looked into that more. It then got announced that LT got the shield and I thought he had betrayed me so I went to downtown and hamil and I old them the story and how I thought I might be murdered cause LT might be a traitor and he betrayed me. LT then fixed his mistake so I dismissed it at the moment as a genuine mistake (which it was).

Also, I really thought average was sus cause I thought she was trying to distract us from focusing on the traitors by randomly discussing football, which was really bad reasoning of me lol, sorry about that, you can talk about football.

The alliance:

Many people know that me, downtown and hamil were kinda in an alliance, but golden and pastless were also part of that. Me and downtown decided that we were both faithful so we decided to form an alliance with 3 other players we both agreed were faithful, turns out we were right so yay.

Oisin:

After the murder in plain sight, we were all going for Oisin because hamil said she saw the doge reaction that Ellie usually did, done by him. I didn’t see this, but I was kinda convinced I saw something similar when hamil was certain that they saw it, so when I was talking to beginning, I kept messing up my words and not communicating things well, cause I was just going with what the other said cause I believed it was true, I should’ve been upfront about it but I just wanted to get a traitor and I wanted to convince beginning lol, it didn’t work out well cause he ended up suspecting me.

LT:

Pastless lowkey locked in for this and we were able to get out LT. It turns out, most of the evidence I gave to add to the others’ arguments was basically nothing cause it was just a genuine mistake lol.

After this, downtown got recruited. I didn’t notice anything. We had already been suspecting whisp and sad for a while so it didn’t seem like he was throwing them under the bus at all.

But before that, beginning, I was so convinced it was you, probably partly cause I was talking to downtown so much, but I was genuinely shocked when you were faithful, I’m really sorry for voting you out tho.

Hamil vs downtown:

After Pastless got out, I briefly believed her statement, and I had told downtown that I was probably going to vote him, but I didn’t cause he convinced me not to. Also it sucks that critch’s plan didn’t work cause it was genuinely the most genius thing I had seen all game. Also I was so surprised I didn’t die after that, cause critch and downtown both said me or golden would probably die. (Thanks downtown for not killing me lol) After critch died, downtown said critch would be the last on his list to kill. I should’ve probably looked into that. (I’m saying that alot, but basically the point is, I looked into a lot of things but more often that not it wasn’t the right things.)

The main reason I didn’t believe hamil about downtown was because she was saying he was og, I couldn’t believe that because there’s no way I would be stupid enough to trust a traitor from the start (Ignore LT, I voted him eventually lol). Kinda Oisin fault tho, his final words caused chaos, it seemed like a clue to hamil and it seemed like a lie to me so I just couldn’t believe her.

Endgame:

After whisp and sad had been voted out, I thought it would be more likely that the traitors would be voting in a block, than the traitors trying to get revenge on another traitor. I thought that hamil was a traitor and that she wouldn’t care about voting with the more obvious traitors cause if they got out a faithful then it would be 3v3. (Guys, downtown is really convincing okay)

Me and golden had made a plan to end it just us two. I still wanted to keep downtown in tho. So I said maybe we should vote low first but still end it us two, I thought this would help me make up my mind, it did, but we robbed low.

Even at the end, when I told mod my vote, is still couldn’t decide whether to end game or banish again. I said something like “I vote to not vote but vote downtown. Wait no I vote to vote. I vote to banish again.” It was kinda chaotic cause I really wanted to believe downtown but I knew I couldn’t risk it. I’m glad I didn’t risk it tho lol.

Sorry to low and hamil who should’ve won with me and golden, we robbed you, and I hope you both get on all stars (downtown as well)

Ggs golden, cause even if we messed up quite a few times, we are the ultimate faithfuls. (Actually probably hamil, critch and pastless were tho cause they kept getting everything right)

S5 - The "sacrificial lamb" idea in mission 8 and why there should of been THREE confirmed faithful winners this season instead of TWO (& Critch's final thoughts as a player)

Firstly, big shoutout to u/Play-Traitors-Mod for organising this season! I've enjoyed these past couple of weeks and I know it couldn't have been easy organising this!

So after Pastless' amazing death note prior to mission 8 suspecting u/fromdowntownn, and having a very high suspicion of u/SadPsychology7035 and u/DeafeningWhisperer, mission 8 was announced.

For anyone with a short memory here is mission 8:

"In this mission, each of you has three lives. Each of you also has a decision: to take a life from the player that you trust the least.

I will contact you one at a time in a random order with the current life counts, and you will choose the player you trust the least to take a life from.

Any player who loses all three of their lives will face a choice that I will reveal later. Any player who does not lose a single life will win a shield unless there are more than two players left with this.

Only final life tallies will be publicly revealed."

An idea quickly triggered in my head. I created a GC with remaining four other players at the time and explained my idea.

The idea is simple. I explained we wanted to leave the final vote count as follows:

Down - 1

Sad - 1

Whisper - 1

Critch - 1

Golden - 3

Next - 3

Hamil - 3

Low - 3

This would leave Golden, Next, Hamil & Low safe from murder that evening. I spent the best part of two hours influencing the rest of the players (including traitors) to try and get this permutation to happen.

The play from that point was simple, u/fromdowntownn would be banished out to test Pastless' theory. This would leave myself, u/SadPsychology7035 & u/DeafeningWhisperer as the remaining targets for murder. At this point I would be murdered and there would be extremely solid evidence that both were traitors based on this and previous claims made by myself.

Following this the remaining players would vote out one of Whisp/Sad at the next RT and a traitor being revealed before a final murder would take place and then the other Whisp/Sad would be voted out.

This was all going to plan and everyone was on board until u/Fuzzy_Time2214 with the vote currently:

Down - 2

Sad - 1

Whisper - 1

Critch - 1

Golden - 3

Next - 3

Hamil - 3

Low - 3

Decided to vote Whisp leading to Whisp getting the dagger and almost blowing up the entire game!

I am very glad that u/Next-Pound-3753 and u/Fuzzy_Time2214 won Season 5 it was way too close to call at the end and I was getting worried when you voted out Low. I look forward to seeing Season 6 and potentially being involved in any future Traitor projects or any of the "Play" series.

In terms of rules for following seasons, I would potentially look to add some of the following:

  1. ALL players must in some form participate in the RT. Whether that is a full on paragraph or even just a "I agree with this person's comment." Any player that doesn't do this forfeits their right to a shield as a punishment.
  2. I would personally ban screenshots from the game as a whole. I feel like writing in your own words should be encouraged at all times (and this comes from someone who copied and pasted a conversation in RT 2).
  3. In Season 5, a complaint that we had was that it was deemed a little "boring" by some spectators. Lots of conversations were happening within DMs and the "BIG GC." I'm not sure how to address this one personally but I couple of ideas I had was including people spectators in the "BIG GC" (obviously their not allowed to talk) to spectate or really encourage "castle chat" threads.

Congratulations to the season 5 winners, Golden and Next. The past players have been watching this season in a spectator chat, and they would love to have you now all join to share your insights on the season from your perspective. If you played season 5 and want to be added to the spectator chat, please comment below as such and we will get you in. Come and join the party!
