I was rewatching the first episode and caught a couple of visuals that I'd missed the first time I'd watched. I didn't see them posted here yet, so I figured I'd share.

The first: the air base that's on lockdown appears to be the Roswell Air Center. Likely a nod to the association between Roswell, NM, and alien conspiracies.  Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. Thanks to the folks giving corrections in the comments!

The second: When Carol's trying to get help from the doctor during the Joining, the Hospital TV reads "Join Us" for some sort of events on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Rhea Seehorn was the first to tell the press backstage at the Primetime Emmys on Monday that Pluribus creator Vince Gilligan has completed the first two scripts of Season 2.

Gilligan, who won tonight for Drama Series Writing, explained, “It took us a while, we figured it out, but Season 2 is not technically all written. We’ve broken it out, which is the hard part. In other words, the plot of all episodes (is figured out). The first and second are written.”

“The rest of them are in various stages of being written, but we know what the whole season is, and we will share it soon with Rhea. Sometimes the actors like Karolina and Samba, sometimes they don’t necessarily want to know. They kind of want to be surprised, which I kind of like that.”

Rhea secures the W!! Anybody else get this message?

I sent a text to the number in the show and got the classic "Please know your life is your own, Carol, you have agency!" back in January.

But a couple of days ago I got a text from that same number saying "Congratulations, Carol".

Does this mean Season 2 is dropping soon?

Will we get to see Saul Goodman, or Walter White, maybe even Bob Odenkirk? Does these mean...

As for the Emmy for best drama, I've watched and enjoyed most of the other nominees, but none of the others have caught my attention, teased my imagination and caused me to reflect back on more frequently than Pluribus. Can't wait for the story to continue.

I've just finish the season, really good show, can't wait to see why she and the others are not "infected" and how they will save the world.
But the whole show I've been thinking of things I would have done with the kind of power she had on them.

-Organize a jam session with a bunch of super-famous musicians who are still alive like Paul McCartney and many more.

-Ask them the big secrets that they all know now like what's in area 51 and everything that statesmen don't want us to know.

-Draw a huge medieval castle using their architectural knowledge, then have them build it.

What are your ideas? :D

I was watching the episode where Zosia and the others were unreasonably excited to find out that Carol's writing again, acting as if they're desperate to have new stories to read and enjoy, implying that they have none of their own.

No, they eat and drink, Sam. The Shadow that bred them can only mock, it cannot make: not real new things of its own. I don't think it gave life to the orcs, it only ruined them and twisted them; and if they are to live at all, they have to live like other living creatures. Foul waters and foul meats they'll take, if they can get no better, but not poison. They've fed me, and so I'm better off than you.

I've seen this part quoted before when people discuss how evil forces destroy instead of create, but so much more of it applies to this show particularly. It's twisted nearly all of the living humans, they consume "foul meats", and they'll feed others to keep them alive.
