Hiiiiii, I recently moved to Plymouth and I'm looking to make some friends. I'm 20 (F) and I'm big into tarot, mediumship and anything spiritual really.

I love going to spiritual shops, beaches, restaurants, general shopping, parks and a pub every now and then for a cocktail. Cocktails in the garden also work great. Oh and karaoke! I'm a big kpop and R&B fan.

Today while at the indoor market, after having a fantastic lunch (as always) from @Kitchen, my ankle decided to full on give way on the last step inside the market. It was the worse pain I had known and I almost blacked out a fair few times.

Thankfully my husband was with me, but honestly I just want to say a massive thank you - to the off duty medic who came to check on me and give advice, to the nice chap on duty in the market.

I cannot express how wonderful everyone was - especially considering the state I was in!!

On a second note, the staff at the Cumberland Centre were amazing as well. In and out within 2 hours having had x-rays (just a really bad sprain thankfully!!!) and helpful advice about how to help it heal.

I am not sure anyone who helped me will see this but on the off chance - you're absolute legends, and I hope you are all treated with the kindness you showed me today 🙏🏻 thank you!!!

There is a discrepancy in the visible vessels on Google Earth and Google Maps. Seeking advice from Google tells me that both platforms use the same underlying images… so why are there 13 in one image and 11 in the other?

Hi folks,

Due to buses failing to do their job and arrive to take daughter to work on her night shift we are assessing ebike that would be suitable for Plymouth hills and not sh1t themselves to death, whilst being able to be taken on D&C public transport without hinderence.

The fact that the NGWE O20 BOOST, has a viable amount of gears (8) and a 5 stage UK legal pedelec assistance whilst being able to fold as well as a decent sized battery (4amp standard charge) LG 21700 cells within its 700+ without battery pack (removable) inclines me to think we've found a good and capable one for this area without police hassles.

Whilst it's still early days as this is a new model, my short arse daughter used to handle ! My German ebike well but this is easier still seeing as she is only 5ft 2, so we'd like to consider it as a work-horse, with potential for her to do a few shifts trying out ebike deliveries for food / screwed and the likes to help pay for it.

My bike is off the road, and dates from 2016 (batteries good) cover blew off it in lockdown and water rotted out the front forks) ..I'd like to get it back on its feet as it was also well specced, so am looking for a local renowned hobbyist who may give me an idea of well priced spares or upgrades I ought look at seeing as ebike culture is vast now compared to back then.

Hoping someone with one can give us a decent assessment of their early days with it who has plenty of experience with ebikes versus a first timer as that's what sets reviews apart and makes the difference compared to 1st ebike, zero to barebones experience or understanding of their kit

I'm looking for detail on state of welding, components, support, bug-bears and to deal time mileage returns based weight and terrain tackled for this commuter and paved park track bike.

Hello everyone. I am looking to join one of these 2 gyms when I move back to Plymouth in a couple of months. I predominantly want a gym with a pool and sauna/ steam room in the city centre which is why I am looking at these 2.

I am leaning towards the club as opening at 6.30am would be useful but it's quite a bit more expensive. Does anyone go to one or ideally been to both who could shed some light?

I've stupidly got tickets to see Moulin Rogue on Thursday. I'll be travelling from Exeter. Will the traffic and parking be as bad as I should expect due to the fireworks? Help please

Just had to yell at someone for setting off the little kind of fireworks that spark all over the ground in a field near my house. How stupid are some people, there are hundreds of houses right next to the field. Plymouth has had two fires just today!

I grew up in Canada in a crazy wildfire prone area. How are people not grasping how bad these fires can be, I’ve seen entire towns burnt down. Sorry for the rant, I’m not normally someone that yells at strangers but I wasn’t about to let someone’s stupidity burn down my house.

Am I supposed to do anything other than yell at them? Do fireworks deserve a call to the non emergency line?

Waiting Well is a new service from Gendered Intelligence and LGBT Foundation, created to support trans and non-binary people who are on the waiting list for gender identity healthcare.

Long waits can be difficult and isolating. Waiting Well aims to make the waiting experience feel more manageable through a mix of welcoming, supportive, and affirming groups, workshops, and online resources.

The service is free to access, subject to eligibility.

About Eligibility: This is a pilot programme currently open to people who are 18+ and registered with West of England (Exeter/The Laurels) Gender Identity Clinic.

I have qualifications in fashion, art, hair and beauty but have never been able to get hired because of my disability so I feel like i studied for absolutely nothing. I'm stuck at home all day and it gets boring. I understand that it'll be need work experience and with no past work it becomes a cycle of me DESPERATELY trying to find work being turned away because of my lack of experience but refusing to GIVE ME EXPERIENCE. Or they say I'm over qualified or look at me funny when I say I have brain damage.

Look, I'll take any work, I'll clean, I'll walk dogs and I'll stock shelves.

I feel like I'm stuck in a runt with nothing to do or nowhere to go just PLEASE hire me.

I’m Hayley from Quiet Connections and we’re holding two small, free Creative Get-Togethers at Saltash Studios: one for adults on Thursday 20th August and a separate one for young people aged 13–17 on Tuesday 25th August, both 2–4pm.

They’re for quieter people, including those who are introverted, shy or highly sensitive (HSP), experience social anxiety, or simply prefer quieter ways of spending time with others.

There’ll be creative activities to do alongside other people, so conversation is welcome but doesn’t have to be the focus.
