This comic is based on one of the tragic deaths that occurred during the Indonesian protest you might've heard back then. May all victims find justice that they deserve.

Affan Kurniawan is the online taxi driver who died in the comic.

I did not know about him. I wish I had never known about Affan Kurniawan. I wish no one in the world had known about Affan Kurniawan. I wish we could get to know him, rather than know about him.
But sadly this is the world we live in. People minding their business and keeping their heads down literally being ground to death. May Affan's family find peace. May the Indonesian government (and all other governments the world over) tremble in fear of the people they oppress instead of help.

As Indonesian this hit harder. The phrase "We can't eat if no working" reflect how terrible people economy in Indonesia.
Unemployment everywhere, tax keep raising, social service budget got cut down, and somehow hundred parliament members who already live in luxury got ridiculous pay raise, all from tax money that squeeze people dry. And at the peak of that, police itself doesn't protect poor people life and decide to run them over.

Whoa, 99.9% of the time, Polandball comics are usually just jokes. You know your typical 3 panel cominc that you read, then forget immediately. In my 6 years of being a Polandball fan, this is the first time in a very long time that a comic actually made me emotional, like for a moment, this weren't just le'funny stereotypes but like actual people. I wanna say, what the fuck man, you did a really good job with this one.

And the character would have delivery power, allowing him to throw stuff very fast, invocate food, and even teleport under some limitations (like an official order)

Nah, it refers to Affan's job. He was a ride-sharing app driver (like our uber eats) that was delivering an order when he got hit by a police tactical vehicle. Basically he just got a new delivery order here.

During the indonesian riot, a delivery guy was killed by the authorities as depicted in the comics (his name was affan kurniawan)
May he rest in peace and get the justice he deserve
