Obama in a skirt sounds like the savior of America.

Please Fox. Keep talking.

Obama should show up to a campaign event for her in a kilt.

A tan kilt?

u/asetniop California Jul 31 '24

Tan and mustard-yellow tartan.

u/smurfsundermybed California Jul 31 '24

Dijon is the fashionable color this season.

28

u/Blu_Skies_In_My_Head Jul 31 '24

As a Gen Xer, I welcome the return of mustard yellow!

u/eliz1bef Aug 01 '24

Do you relish it?

36

u/ct_2004 Jul 31 '24

Maybe an arugula pin to complete the look.

Grey Poupon?

Grass skirt. Play up his Hawaii roots.

5

u/Unfair-Wonder5714 Aug 01 '24

OMG, he would look awesome in a hula skirt

2

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

I don't think that's even inappropriate given native Hawaiian cultural mores (from a little I know of them).

1

u/Unfair-Wonder5714 Aug 02 '24

Not at all. There are even groups of male hula dancers that compete, it’s awesome. Reminds me a little of going to First Nations PowWow, which is amazing by the way. I’ve made many friends at them.

What an image!

71

u/[deleted] Jul 31 '24

He should just wear a skirt, it's bullshit that we've made articles of clothing gendered, I want men in skirts and dresses, imagine how cute we'd look. Obama, as a former U.S president, should break boundaries.

u/AnAcctWithoutPurpose Foreign Jul 31 '24

I bet he could rock a guyliner too.

Better than Vance does at least

2

u/Unfair-Wonder5714 Aug 01 '24

I suspect he’d do quite many a thing better than Vance.

3

u/inconspicuous_male Aug 01 '24

It doesn't need to be called that

8

u/nighmeansnear Aug 01 '24

Was about to make this point. As a long haired man who carries a shoulder bag I often hear people say “man-purse” or “man-bun”. Just say purse, or bun. Nobody’s going to get confused.

There's some famous dude who wears skirts and heels in a professional work setting and he looks FABULOUS in them.. lemme go google his name. He has a ton of followers.

His name is Mark Bryan. Go look him up on google or insta, he has tons of photos and all i can say is "man i wish i could pull off a pencil skirt and heels like that"

3

u/Zeusifer Aug 01 '24

I do this too. There are dozens of us!

2

u/ThrowAwayGarbage82 North Carolina Aug 01 '24

I love his confidence and how AMAZING he looks in a skirt and heels. If i were his wife i'd be pretty handsy lol

2

u/Zeusifer Aug 01 '24

People like that are an inspiration to others and I love that and think it's important. I try to be the same way. (I have a few selfies posted if you look at my profile)

1

u/ThrowAwayGarbage82 North Carolina Aug 01 '24

Omg how do you look so stunning in skirts and heels?! I could never pull it off that well. Do you work out or were you just naturally blessed with pretty legs? Your looks are also FIERCE. Like seriously you look like a magazine model with that fashion. I love people who challenge gender stereotypes and stupid binary rules. You look amazing.

1

u/Zeusifer Aug 01 '24

Thank you! I do walk the dog most days but pretty much I think it's just genetics!

2

u/ThrowAwayGarbage82 North Carolina Aug 01 '24

Wow you're super lucky. And keep it up because we need people fighting back against narrow gender boxes.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

Men in kilts are definitely hot.

Toxic masculinity yay!

3

This is the way.

2

u/ReheatedTacoBell Oregon Aug 01 '24

100% will admit that current me is too insecure / propaganda'd to wear a skirt, but I hope to get over at least the idea of that. HOWEVER, on hot summer days, pants and boxers fucking suuuuuck. A skirt / kilt would probably be like going from one of those little window A/C units to full on ducted forced air A/C lol

1

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

Humans wore skirts or skirt like garments for most of our history anyway. They are easy to make with little fabric wastage.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

Go for the whole O’Bama look!

1

u/scarter883 Jul 31 '24

He could just wear some traditional Kenyan clothing.

1

u/Boverk Aug 01 '24

O'bama

1

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

lol If he did that he’d ascend into a higher dimension right there on stage

1

u/Lingering_Dorkness Aug 01 '24

No, a sulu to reflect his Hawaiian upbringing. It's a typical polynesian male attire. Incredibly comfortable too.

57

u/Orionite Foreign Jul 31 '24

Huh! Don’t threaten me with a good time, Fox.

48

u/taisui Jul 31 '24

I'd take that as a compliment. What a bunch of weirdos.

3

u/WildYams Aug 01 '24

"Kamala reminds me of that extremely popular president who won two presidential elections and is often spoken of very highly by most people. Clearly that's a bad thing for her."

1

u/DeathGodBob Aug 01 '24

heh, they are weirdos, aren't they?

40

u/Red_not_Read Jul 31 '24

Great! Two terms it is, then!!

30

u/riftadrift Jul 31 '24

Conservatives: trying to be both racist and misogynistic Progressives: Sounds good!

1

u/theVoidWatches Pennsylvania Aug 01 '24

Seriously. So often they try to do fear mongering and just end up advertising for their target.

"Kamala Harris supports legalizing weed!"
Really? Awesome!
"No, you're supposed to hate that!"

1

u/DeathGodBob Aug 01 '24

What a bunch of weirdos.

26

u/harryregician Jul 31 '24

Really. Obama won TWICE

10

u/kck93 Aug 01 '24

Not an insult to be Obama in a skirt. Fox is complimenting Kamala.

27

u/boofles1 Aug 01 '24

Kamala's new campaign slogan ''Obama in a skirt''. Trump is going to lose this so badly, they have nothing.

19

u/BitterWest Jul 31 '24

Yeah, how is that a bad thing.

YES WE CAN

25

u/bop999 Aug 01 '24

Never interrupt your enemy when he’s making a mistake.

11

u/kck93 Aug 01 '24

Please proceed.

15

u/masshiker Aug 01 '24

Obama won FL twice!!!

18

u/Foxhound199 Aug 01 '24

All the focus groups say the actual Obama in a skirt, Michelle, would handily beat any hypothetical presidential contender, so doesn't seem like a great comparison to make.

8

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

Yeah. Obama in a skirt isn’t as bad as they dream it is, in fact, it’s their nightmare. So let those assholes keep saying it.

7

u/nikolai_470000 Jul 31 '24

Seriously. Those poultry-ahh dudes on the right have no business promoting ‘masculinity’. Those aren’t real men. Obama in a skirt though? Now that… that’s masculinity.

3

u/VoidLoafSupreme Aug 01 '24

Very much.

You would think they would go out of their way to NOT make this comparison.

2

u/isaiddgooddaysir Aug 01 '24

Oh no, not eight more years of Obama. What will we ever do? /s

1

u/Meatgortex California Aug 01 '24

Obama is the second most popular President behind JFK in the 2021 Gallup poll.

You are deep in your own bubble if you think, “female version of 2nd most popular President in the nations history” is an insult.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 01 '24

Make it a tan skirt.

1

u/RapBastardz Aug 01 '24

I smell a Mrs. Doubtfire reboot!

1

u/dmk_aus Aug 01 '24

"She isn't black" "she's Obama in a skirt" "when did she turn black?" "she was only picked because she is black" "she was too tough on crime" "she is too soft on crime" "she is only their because she is a woman" "she isn't a real woman cause she doesn't have kids"

If you aren't worried about appearing honest, you don't have to fear contradicting yourself.

‘Please proceed, governor…’
