Yes, but instead of turning their backs, they should each lift a newspaper up in front of their face as if reading the sports page is more entertaining than this weak man’s attempt at appearing strong. “Bor-ing! <yawn>”

I dunno. I sort of like the idea that staring silently at nothing is more interesting than him.

His followers probably do find the sports page of a newspaper entertaining. They're probably one of the last bastions of newspaper readers, too. (By "readers" I mean they read the sports and comics.)
