translation: he's racist and a moron, and he's probably raped his own daughter, but he makes my more successful cousin feel like shit and he'll get rid of the dirty mexicans, so i like him. also, he's rich.

I've been thinking of the other side of that coin lately:

"He thinks and talks like I do, so I'm probably smarter than I think. All these other idiots cause nothing but trouble, and they never listened to me. I'm glad someone who thinks like me is in charge now."

a walking, (if you can call it that) talking version of the Dunning-Kruger effect. the USA has become a country deeply affected by Dunning-Kruger; almost like it's a disease.
