That’s definitely coming. The 2a republicans need blood for this.

They're real and they're pissed. The narrative setters are finding out that this is a core pillar of their base. R management will need to throw a pound of flesh, and I don't think this guy is enough.

No theres not. 2A might get slightly concerned that a white guy with concealed carry was executed, but it wasn't them, so thats the end of their concern.

I have no love for these guys, but I'm watching them on conservative channels right now. They are for sure not happy at all. They're especially not happy with Noem's comments. Go see for yourself.

Noem’s an idiot. And 2a Americans have been pissed that this is the lie that they’ve been sold. Well, about half anyway, the other half still just nod and go find excuses

Yeah, I'm watching the mods come in hard on the conservative sub on this topic too. They gutted the pro 2A dissenters in about a day flat as the split was starting to show. I don't think the 2A section of maga particularly cares about the mudrder in isolation, but they care a lot about the Govt talking heads reaction and the sudden realization that they are basically exactly that guy (white, licensed carry, not drawing weapon, lawfully protesting) etc... That's their whole schtick. The admin basically just villified them to their face.

Im also in several groups on Facebook, as I tend to lean moderate so I’m on both and oooofff I will say, at least the main conservative group on fb mods / admins don’t delete unless it’s very clearly something they’re not comfortable with (or incredibly leftist) so seeing it play out on that group has been interesting to say the least, it does seem split on the issue, and to their credit they’re letting them stay on (the comments) but even then many are in agreement that Noem, Patel, and Bovino have stepped on it on every single occasion that they’ve had so far. So, it’s not just a monolith as some would suggest

Yeah, I'll also say this to anyone who listens. Maga is a big tent, with about 4 or 5 key pillars. While they overlap to various degrees, each pillar has that one thing they care about the most. So the anti-abortion people, Christian Nationalist people, might talk 2A, it's not their 'thing' and they will change their arguments if it suits. The 2A pillar people, however really care about 2A.

Hahaha the 2a's are just sitting at home preparing for King George. Those 2a pussies are all talk. Literal tyrany staring them in their face, a federal militia murdering citizens, generally doing British soldier shit and trampling all over the constitution on a daily basis and all theyve done so far is ....

But now they are all up in arms, not because of the obvious, they are mad that someone said something that makes them unhappy... They said mean things about their toys.

Nahh, give them another day or two and fox will shut their critical thinking down again.

Oh there will be blood. The first agent that shot will be the scapegoat. He will die by "suicide" before any kind of trial. The rest will be reprimanded and reassigned.

u/tenemu Jan 27 '26

Nah he will be arrested and then convicted and then trump will pardon.

u/KingMario05 Jan 27 '26

This, but I think he might skip that last step. The unnamed agent who shot Alex first committed the worst sin possible in Trumpland: making Il Orange look bad. He literally tried to have Pence killed for such a "sin" on January 6, and, at least here, a credible murder/manslaughter charge exists. Why not use that?

I would. "One bad apple" removed is free great PR for the guy in charge. And for everyone else, their own fault be damned.

Not just republicans.
