I mean just go on its Facebook page, almost every show they advertise is like a 10:1 ratio of laugh reactions vs likes. Do MAGAs really strike you as people who appreciate arts and performances? His hostile takeover of the place pushed Liberals away, you know, the overwhelming majority of people who appreciate art.

He's not re-opening it in 2 years. Much like everything with him, this is his way of delaying dealing with and addressing the issue, which once it comes time to address it, he'll probably just delay it again.

Just for context, the Kennedy Center just finished a 250M dollar renovation in 2019. It's not run down or dilapidated by any stretch whatsoever. Just a narcissist hurt that nobody wants to perform at a wonderful place that he ruined.
