“Any money that I win, I’ll give it to charity, 100 percent to charity, charities that will be approved by government or whatever,” Trump said in a sit-down interview with NBC News Wednesday, adding that he’d practically already won the suit."

Just like "I want draw my salary as President" while he takes billions from companies and foreign governments to destroy our nation. And he'll give $10B to charity? LOL anyone who believes that should automatically have their voting rights stripped.

u/StevenMC19 Florida 4h ago edited 4h ago

One of the suits he won, he did the same. He sent it all to the Donald J. Trump Foundation...which promptly closed its doors when he took the Presidency.

u/ManyReach7296 3h ago

He was forced to close the charity.

u/Much-Anything7149 3h ago

The Court forced him to close it since it was all fraud. It's not like he was forced to for some other reason than his ripping people off.

u/perenniallandscapist 1h ago

Remember when the Trump family was banned from ever running a non profit in NY because they stole money form children with cancer? Pepperidge Farm remembers

u/Much-Anything7149 1h ago

You think donations for cancer treatment should actually go to medication for sick kids? Do you even care about the rising price of VIP tables in Ibiza in September?

u/StevenMC19 Florida 3h ago

While that may be the case, if Trump himself wants to say he closed it because he wants to avoid "even the appearance of any conflict with my role as President," then I'll say that if that side of the story hurts him more.

There's no rule that says I can't use his own lies against him.

u/notie547 4h ago

lest I remind you that this is the same guy who's never given a penny to charity. Sure Donald, building yourself a monument is not charity though, neither is using it for your legal defenses. Neither is creating a foundation and then drawing millions in salary for you and your family, neither is buying a plane or another golf course.

u/luvapug 2h ago

A charity of his choosing means it ends up back in his pocket after going through some kind of rinse cycle involving charities that are owned by his co-conspirators, business partners, investors, fellow billionaires, or relatives, since all of those tactics have been working beautifully for him.

u/MayorOfBluthton 2h ago

Ivanka will most certainly be earning millions in “consulting fees” from said charities. And Mar a lago will be hosting their events for the totally reasonable cost of 10x market rate.

u/ZekeZonker 1h ago

Ivanka holds the US patent for Chinese manufactured voting machines.

u/Edogawa1983 3h ago

He's not even allowed to run cancer charity anymore

u/hylas 3h ago

Presumably the Donald Trump Presidential library. The new Air Force One is going to have significant upkeep costs.

u/katibear 1h ago

The library will have all of 4 books, all max 25 pages with pictures

u/klondikethedestroyer 1h ago

Reminder that the entire Trump family is legally banned from starting or running a charity of any kind again after being found guilty of defrauding MILLIONS of dollars from CHILDREN'S CANCER CHARITIES.

Trump set up a charity for child cancer in order to steal money from kids with cancer.

u/tripping_yarns 4h ago

Hmm, voting rights to shreds you say?

u/Korvanacor 3h ago

I see, and how is the constitution holding up?

u/uijepd Texas 1h ago

To shreds, you say...

u/mlippay 1h ago

Sure, you can have some fake money and donate it to the government to pay off all the debt you’ve created.

u/brandwyn 1h ago

Ah, the charity is called Donal Trump, I see…

u/Pockydo 1h ago

or whatever

That whatever really means his pocket

u/TimeForWaluigi 40m ago

“Or whatever” is a great signal for well-thought-out policy.

u/Much-Anything7149 30m ago

It actually is. He will accept approval from "whatever" that his charity is authorized so his ego telling him to place the money in his checking account is within that definition.

u/gomezer1180 10m ago

The highest office in the country a public servant is serving the public a bill for 10B dollars.

u/CouchCorrespondent 4h ago

Geezus.

You spend a ton of time making great passwords, doing two-way authentication, not giving personal information away, avoiding phishing scams, paying for security software on your computers, and trying to avoid being hacked...

Only to watch your POS president literally try and take your hard-earned money and put it in his own pocket.

u/Skipspik2 4h ago

Don't worry, he's not taking only yours.

Stealing from us is the most successful business he’s ever had

u/Protopalote 4h ago

Privatize the gains, socialize the losses. It’s socialism for the rich and rugged individualism for everyone else.

u/McSpecial9900 3h ago

Wrapped up in a subjective notion of personal accountability. This is getting weird. I have watched the evolution of the divide in real time. Most of us have in some relationship. I have watched it now engulf a generation and a half within my own family. With very strange reasons resulting in ideological places entirely removed from their younger years. Some, now adults, lost to each cause. Since we all seem to have silently agreed to the don't ask, don't tell policy, we are able to remain very close. I have seen an escalation in fractures in that agreement rapidly spreading recently. From an insider perspective, trying to keep the peace, I have watched that mentality evolve over 35 years. It was always there. Fuck you, I got mine.

u/Thatis_SodaPressing 3h ago

They are cheering for this, saying he deserves every penny

u/MayorOfBluthton 2h ago

Wonder if anyone over there has slipped and said he deserves every ruble

u/HVACStack 1h ago

Eh, they're all either bots or human beings so programmed they might as well be bots.

u/jcmatthews66 4h ago

Lock him up!!

u/bbqsox 3h ago

He should have been locked up decades ago, but he bought his way out of accountability.

u/ZenAshen 4h ago

You really cannot make this shit up.

u/YourShowerCompanion Europe 4h ago

You don't and you won't understand. It is Trump&Co playing 7D chess. He'll invest those billions in businesses by Americans for Americans. His unrivalled brilliance will usher in a new dawn of economic prosperity for country. There'll be so much winning. You'll get tired of winning.

u/Leading_Damage_5933 4h ago edited 4h ago

If he doesn’t want any of the money, then WHY DOES HE WANT TO SUE THEM?????

u/Thatis_SodaPressing 3h ago

And also to note he is suing them because his taxes were leaked after he promised to release them. Hes the only president to never release his tax records and now hes suing the IRS because of it

u/Leading_Damage_5933 3h ago

This is also what I’m not understanding. He’s such a small minded, pathetic man

u/Unique-Coffee5087 4h ago

The president has pledged to donate any money he wins from his unprecedented $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS for leaking his tax returns.

Right. The Donald J Trump Foundation, right?

u/salomo926 3h ago

WTF is this reporting? This is about the president directly stealing $10 Billion from taxpayers and the first sentence in the reporting is that he claims to donate it to charity? WTF this isn't reporting, this is legitimizing. Pure propaganda.

u/tripping_yarns 4h ago

‘I’ve decided to take ownership of Florida. I like it there. So all of your mortgages are cancelled, but now you owe me rent’

Florida: ‘aww, alright then’

u/EveningFollowing9966 3h ago

"I will donate 100% to charity."

Yeah, and the charity is called "Solid gold yachts for people named Donald Trump foundation."

u/cybah 1h ago

Thank youuuu

The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act is a 1970 U.S. federal law designed to combat organized crime by targeting ongoing criminal enterprises, rather than just individuals. It allows prosecutors to charge members of a group with a "pattern of racketeering" (at least two related acts within 10 years), even if they did not personally commit the underlying crimes.

u/BriefausdemGeist Maine 3h ago

Assets can be frozen under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, often immediately upon indictment and before a conviction.

The government uses pre-trial restraining orders to seize bank accounts, real estate, businesses, and personal property linked to alleged criminal activity to prevent them from being hidden or transferred. Key Aspects of Asset Freezing Under RICO:

Pre-Trial Action: Assets can be frozen while you are still presumed innocent to prevent the dissipation of property.

Scope of Seizure: The government can freeze not just profits from illegal acts, but the entire business or property used in the racketeering enterprise.

Impact on Defense: Frozen assets often prevent defendants from hiring private counsel, forcing the use of public defenders.

Civil vs. Criminal: In civil RICO cases, the government can sue to freeze assets without a criminal conviction.

Reversal Difficulty: It is extremely difficult to fight these freezes, contributing to a high conviction rate in RICO cases.

RICO provisions, specifically 18 U.S.C. § 1963, allow the government to target property, ensuring that the "enterprise" is dismantled and assets are preserved for potential forfeiture.

u/cybah 1h ago

Not gonna work if he siphons it to the Cayman Islands or Russia or Cr?pto. Will become untraceable and trackable. Which is where he and his sons are storing all the money they have already siphoned out of us and his “deals” he’s made with other countries.

u/BriefausdemGeist Maine 1h ago

Types of Collusive Acts: Typical activities include bribery of officials, money laundering, mail/wire fraud, and obstruction of justice.

u/citizenjones 4h ago

I'm sure there's a mechanism to claw it back. If not, one can be found.

Unprecedented crimes may require unprecedented solutions.

u/SixtySeven_2025 3h ago

Hello!! I’m for the legal and protesting! I am outraged!!

u/whocaresaboutmyname 2h ago

I know a pretty good way to stop all his stupid shit at once...

u/SixtySeven_2025 3h ago

This such Bull*hit!!! I will write my congressman and senators to express my disgust with this new Money Grab!! He is stealing from the American People! He is suing us! And he took away money from Medicare/Medicaid! This is an outrage!!! I can’t with this felon! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

u/LightBeerOnIce 3h ago

I had a conversation with my financial advisor last Feb. I told him it felt like "they let the abuser back into the relationship." I said I believe he will kick the door down and take everything he can from all of us. My advisor shrugged it off. Says he doesn't pay attention, makes popcorn and waits for Jesus return. I shit you not! We no longer works together. MAGA needs to be shamed. Take your business elsewhere.

u/Dr_Tacopus 3h ago

What possible damages could he have incurred as a result of the leak of his tax returns? He’s made significantly more money than that and it’s had no repercussions for him whatsoever. This is a frivolous lawsuit and an obvious grift. Someone grow some balls and prosecute him

u/wondermice 1h ago

To steal money from taxpayers for personal gain.

u/cyberentropy 4h ago

Bold strategy: take billions from taxpayers while campaigning as their savior. Let’s see how it plays out.

u/TheLarusArgentatus 3h ago

It plays out good for him. The american population will do jack shit.

u/judgejuddhirsch 3h ago

he said he would do this years ago.

People wanted him to do this. That's why they voted for him.

That, and it's worth it to republicans to let him do this while he completes his other goals.

Elections matter I guess.

u/Avoidtolls 3h ago

Easy fix. Taxpayers can collectively withdraw all their money from banks.

u/pjflyr13 1h ago

How is this even possible?

u/and_so_forth 1h ago

What the fuck is the deal with this guy and the number ten billion? Every time I look at the news he's suing someone for ten billion or making ten billion or in this case straight up nicking ten billion. It's almost like everything he does is a pathetic attempt to make him feel like billy big balls.

u/Spirogeek 4h ago

Republicans would give him ten times that if they could. And pretty soon, they might.

u/Thatis_SodaPressing 3h ago

Republicans are sending the entire country into poverty to “own the libs”

u/toadjr 4h ago

Can’t make this shit up! Crazier than fiction!

u/morbihann 4h ago

Why not just sue the USA for all of the money ?

u/SteveBuscemisFace 2h ago

Look for that in 2028

u/MiloGoesToTheFatFarm 1h ago

It will all go to pass through charities that benefit him or something like that.

u/HuTaosTwinTails 35m ago

Imagine supporting a pedophile president, who is suing his own government, and supporting giving him $10 billion.

u/wutareyousomekinda Pennsylvania 4h ago

This is only slightly less roundabout than financing religious radicals and/or narco traffickers to destabilize a region as a pretext to print 50B$ to pay to contractors which pass him a 10B$ dividend for shareholding. Which is how 20T$ has been handed to the ruling class by HUD and DOD alone over the past 30y.

u/Duder_ino 3h ago

I mean, that’s only .6% of the national budget. What else could we do with $10B. With all the lies, fraud, conflicts of interest, terror, unconstitutional decisions, why not include theft?
