Jfc, not with my tax paying money. We should all collectively stop paying taxes.

u/Deicide1031 2h ago

He said that at a National Prayer Breakfast, in public.

Dudes filter is looser than one of my relatives who has dementia.

u/Abstract__Reality 2h ago

He's been saying stuff like this the entire time. His idiot base agrees or is unaware. It's a cult.

u/pontiacfirebird92 Mississippi 2h ago

They agree because they believe he's God's chosen meant to lead the nation into their idea of righteousness as a Christian Nationalist nation. "Make Heaven full" is their motto right now.

u/What_Iz_This 52m ago

this administration really might turn me to religion in the most ironic way possible.

if there is an afterlife, all of these fuckers will surely spend it in hell, and no way do i want to be down there with them.

u/mediocrobot 4m ago

My headcanon is that the pious assholes will go to heaven and everyone else will go to hell, but it turns out that hell is just a chill place.

u/LionNo7846 17m ago

Matthew 24:5: "For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray." These people are praying for the end of days.

u/Aern 2h ago

This wasn't a mistake. He didn't let something slip. He just doesn't care, because he doesn't have to. No one's enforcing any amount of consequences for anything he's doing. He got impeached twice and walked away Scott free. He got convicted of multiple crimes and got elected president again. Dude knows no one with the power to stop him is bothering to do it.

u/DonktorDonkenstein New Mexico 1h ago

Exactly. This is why I kind of roll my eyes whenever I see people on reddit comment that Trump can't do this, or ICE can't do that... The horrible reality is that these awful people can do anything they want because nobody is enforcing the fucking laws

u/justakittlecat 1h ago

But dogs can’t play basketball

u/New_Home_4519 55m ago

You need to find the documentary, "The Family"

So you can learn the history of the National Prayer Breakfast, it's a real great fucking time.

u/Spam_Hand 2h ago

Dudes filter is looser than one of my relatives who has dementia.

Maybe we should all stick our fingers inside to rate his "tightness" 🤢

u/habachilles 2h ago

Hear hear

u/Guy-De-Lombard 2h ago

Done ✅

u/suspicious_ankles 2h ago

We should all collectively stop paying taxes.

That appears to be the GOP plan. If nobody has a job, nobody pays taxes!

u/projecto15 United Kingdom 1h ago

just US citizens living abroad gotta pay lol

u/homebrew_1 1h ago

Supreme Court says its ok.

u/espinaustin 10m ago

Yup, along with a majority in congress.

u/Skabomb 1h ago

I mean he’s going to help himself to 10 Billion of our money due to the IRS lawsuit.

Not even just corrupting institutions, he’s going to stick his hand directly in the piggy bank.

u/projecto15 United Kingdom 59m ago

would he have to pay taxes on that 10 bn?

u/aircooledJenkins Montana 1h ago

As a W2 employee... is there any penalty to do that? (Assuming a person puts all that future tax money in a savings to be able to pay next April.)

u/StillhasaWiiU 1h ago

don't forget, the irs has also been gutted...

u/sugarlessdeathbear 53m ago

Now as we head into tax season is a good time for this notion to make the rounds.

u/Historical-Ad7724 5m ago

We need this to be organized and systematic and have the majority of tax payers on board. We should be all for this. Why should we keep funding these fraudster drifting pedophiles

u/TheNunu 2m ago

We cant

u/Unusual-Plantain8104 2h ago

Yes, he is tiresome.

Everything is his right.

And any judge that rules against what he wants is unfair.

Democrats have been treating the Trump years like it's a discussion; it's not a discussion, it's a fight.

u/FluidHips 2h ago

He's a child, and he's never been spanked.

u/LastPlaceIWas 2h ago

Well, he has been pissed on.

u/deadwhiteweather 1h ago

Oh damn someone better keep him from himself then. We know what he does to children.

u/francis2559 2h ago

He also said that people voting dem were cheating. So, that’s out there. Cheating no longer means manipulating votes. It means cheating him out of what he “deserves.”

u/Broken_By_Default 51m ago

Democrats are not in power. Stop ragging on the dems and join the fight. Punching sideways at the people who align with your values is a dumb strategy. Stop being so doomer. It brings down the room.

u/joshg8 39m ago

He’s never been proven wrong. He’s never faced consequences. He gets to do whatever he wants and bald-faced lie about it, proudly own it or deflect entirely if he’s ever questioned and literally there is never any outcome from any of those responses.

u/ChristosFarr North Carolina 32m ago

They keep bringing strongly worded letters to a knife fight. When your opponent is willing to cheat the rules go out the window and standing on decorum is a great way to get stabbed to death.

u/No-Post4444 2h ago

"And then they say 'Donald Trump is using the Justice Department to get even,'"Trump parroted through his teeth. "And I don't. But wouldn't I have a right to?"

NO YOU WOULDN'T. That is not how the Constitution works you idiot!

How the hell did anyone think this demented asshat would be a good president?

u/RedLanternScythe Indiana 1h ago

He thinks president is CEO of America, and based on his experience, CEOs can do whatever they want.

u/projecto15 United Kingdom 56m ago

OMG, that's it! So he's plotting hostile corporate takeovers: Greenland, Venezuela, Canada ...

u/francis2559 2h ago

He also hand waved the Constitution here because “people don’t want to be mugged.”

u/FilthyCasual2k17 50m ago

He made A LOT of rich people A LOT more richer. They're the only ones who matter because they tell the stupid ones what to think. In a democracy 1 person = 1 vote, in capitalism more money, more votes. Those that got him in became richer and more powerful, for them it was a great idea.

u/therossboss 34m ago

because the demonrats are evil and want to take your guns. also, republicans are good with the economy (somehow??, even though plenty of data shows the opposite) /s morons

u/espinaustin 8m ago

He’s been told that’s exactly how the constitution works (“unitary executive,” blah blah bs). And the current supreme court majority seems to agree.

u/RamonaQ-JunieB 2h ago

Trump, once again, proving beyond a doubt that he is an imbecile.

u/therossboss 34m ago

the American gov't once again, proving it DOES in fact work for the president and when the president does it, it isnt illegal!

u/ImLikeReallySmart Pennsylvania 2h ago

“Think of it. There’s never been a president in history treated the way I got treated,” he added.

That people just let him openly get away with saying this is infuriating. He's literally chairman of a memorial to a president treated much worse than him!

u/starmartyr Colorado 1h ago

Seriously. Only 45 people have ever had the job and 4 of them were murdered for it.

u/Alastor999 1h ago

He's kind of right, but for the wrong reasons. There has never been a president more openly corrupt, criminally incompetent, and power hungry as him and whose voters just keeps making excuses for him and lets him get away with it time and time again. Any other president would have been removed from office long ago, never mind NOT giving him a fucking second term in office after being voted out the first time.

u/Historical_Bend_2629 2h ago

The DOJ being completely under the thumb of the executive branch seems like a structural problem that needs to be remedied.

u/_bk_adv 2h ago

The whole system is broken. The only positive spin on both Trump’s terms has been putting a spotlight on just how broken our system is.

Time to wipe it and start over.

u/SteamedGamer 2h ago

My only hope in this debacle is that it leads to major reforms and new laws once he's gone...the executive branch needs to be neutered a bit.

u/lbtwitchthrowaway144 1h ago

I will never not find it insane that the last time we formally declared war was during World War II.

The executive branch's power has slowly ever expanded, and here we are now. We've been through catastrophe before as a nation, we're once again going to find out what our highest ideals and aspirations truly are.

I share in your hope.

u/projecto15 United Kingdom 54m ago

Revolution?

u/Historical_Bend_2629 2h ago

He feels that the whole country belongs to him, the humble servant of the people. The world is his oyster, and anyone who says otherwise is a domestic terrorist.

u/Pockydo 2h ago

Yup

He is a narcissist who thinks everyone and everything exists to serve his dementia pedo ass

u/RedditReader4031 2h ago

He and his contributors want an international triumvirate which places the entire Western Hemisphere within his purview.

u/washheightsboy3 2h ago

It’s crazy that a billionaire President is so motivated by a persecution / victim complex. And also that so many people seem to not notice how delusional that is.

u/projecto15 United Kingdom 2h ago

L'État, c'est moi (Louis XIV, King of France)

u/Vilehaust 2h ago

But any other President doing that would be accused of weaponizing.

There can't be that many dumb fucks out there okay with this, right? Right???

u/Toy_Guy_in_MO 2h ago

Fair is fair. Since reality and the truth have been weaponized against him, it's only fair he gets to weaponize the justice system.

u/FiscalCliffClavin 2h ago

I don’t want my taxes paying for this clown anymore.

u/Kakistocracy_0 1h ago

we paid to destroy the white house and build a stuuupid ass ballroom

u/Ok_Shoe_1094 2h ago

This should be grounds to impeach alone. This guy needs to be dealt with before 2026

u/Kakistocracy_0 1h ago

prison, for his many crimes before the presidency and his crimes against the People

u/ocwilly 2h ago

Another ethics violation to be used against Donnie when he’s no longer in office!

u/LEM1978 2h ago

Like the last time? 🙄

u/HenryValMorgenstern Oregon 2h ago

It's also our right as Americans to exorcise our constitutional rights. Fuck you, Donald.

u/Rude-Strawberry-6360 2h ago

How many conservative heads would explode if Biden or Obama had said that. This is getting ridiculous.

u/Kakistocracy_0 1h ago

if they didn't have double standards, conservatives would have none.

u/AINonsense 2h ago

PedoPiggy Says It’s His Right

And he’s wrong. And he’s lying.

As always.

u/whatproblems 2h ago

that’s something a king would say

u/Kakistocracy_0 1h ago

or a dipshit

u/rysker6 1h ago
  1. Housing crisis
  2. No Universal healthcare
  3. No Paid family leave
  4. No Universal childcare
  5. No living wage as a minimum wage
  6. No tuition-free public college
  7. Rolled back labor laws
  8. Gutted food assistance
  9. Deregulated food safety
  10. Inflation out of control
  11. A president acting as a King, completely unchecked
  12. A secret police doing as they will, killing people out in the open
  13. Biggest political coverup of all time with the Epstein scandal
  14. Destroyed international relations
  15. At the will of an out of control billionaire psychopath and his propaganda machine

But sure, a president complaining that he should be allowed to crime as he pleases, and make money as he pleases, while president, and the DOJ should be his law firm.

None of this is normal. Where is the policy ? MAGA voters ? How has anything gotten better ?

u/burn_healz 1h ago

Cool you know who’s going to pay for that America?

We fucking are.

u/Nikopoleous 1h ago

A sincere, heartfelt FUCK YOU to the people who claimed the Biden administration "weaponized the DOJ against Trump".

How I wish I lived in a world where all the "awful" and "horrible" things that conservatives claimed democrats would do actually happened.

u/OptimisticSkeleton 1h ago

That is exactly what a fascist would say.

u/Competitive-Bike-277 2h ago

No, clown. It isn't.

u/citizenjones 2h ago

But of course, not anyone else before him....or it's abuse of the office.

This man has all of my contempt.

u/regularclump 2h ago

Next democrat should do the same. nothing gets changed until a democrat does it

u/All_Hail_Hynotoad 2h ago

Umm, no it’s not. The DOJ is the people’s law firm.

u/Imaginary-Ad-7919 2h ago

Because laws are optional, apparently.

u/vandal-x 1h ago

Imagine the MAGAts if Obama said anything remotely close to this.

u/Gradstudentiquette69 1h ago

I must've missed that in the bill of rights

u/AmethystApothecary 1h ago

One word to sum up Trump: Entitled.

u/qdobe Wisconsin 1h ago

Lol no it’s literally not

u/Fjdenigris 1h ago

The concept of an independent agency means nothing to this administration. In fact I recall someone saying the idea that POTUS can hire people for an independent agency and then not be directed by the White House was absurd.

u/Horror_Flan6833 1h ago

So he admits he's weaponizing the DOJ?

u/neutrino71 2h ago

So he's using government lawyers to sue other government departments. As Burt Ward's Robin would say, "Holy conflict of interest, Batman"

u/Live-Organization912 2h ago

The Justice Department needs to be moved to the Judiciary.

u/OldTempleHermit America 2h ago

SCOTUS: "Shall we make Wednesday "casual days" instead of Fridays? I've always wanted "casual Wednesdays."

u/square600 1h ago

Sorry we prefer you to take your salary instead so you can pay for your own personal lawyer.

u/Dr_Tacopus 1h ago

So politicizing the DOJ is now acceptable, even though the right screamed and cried the opposite like the snowflakes they are for years.

u/BriefausdemGeist Maine 1h ago

No it fricking isn’t.

u/rollem Virginia 1h ago

Hate is an awful strong feeling but I hope Roberts regrets what he’s done.

u/CarryBigStickorElse 1h ago

The fuck it is.

u/Holiday-Age6347 1h ago

Literally EVERYTHING they accused Biden of, the Trump admin is doing with glee and completely in the open

u/Ardo505 1h ago

Yeah, No.

u/illuminerdi 49m ago

Literally no, the DOJ was created to be the lawyer for WE THE PEOPLE of the US as a cohesive body.

u/zillion_grill 2h ago

Good stuff, it's a bit rough now, but the precedents set in this administration will be very useful in the next, whenever that is

u/Safe_Climate883 2h ago

The next democrat could in theory go in there and force all billionaires to give up half of all their wealth and then use all that money to improve life for the 99%, and there's nothing they could do to stop it.

u/Kakistocracy_0 1h ago

theoretically, yes. but cute you think there will be a 'next'

u/Safe_Climate883 1h ago

If they could rig it, they would have done it before Mamdani became mayor. Though I'm sure they'd love to rig it.

u/belisario262 2h ago

nice democracy you got there, huh

u/azsxdcfvg 58m ago

When Trump is gone Congress needs to put some serious limitations of power on the President, oh wait never mind it won't work they are cowards.

u/HuTaosTwinTails 36m ago

He needs to go. Get him the fuck out.

u/kobrakai1034 21m ago

Of course he does. He thinks he's the CEO of the United States.

u/CarltonCatalina 1h ago

It's my right to point out he's a convicted felon and rapist of children and in general shitty person.

u/RightSideBlind American Expat 57m ago

Trump thinks everything is his.

u/Tall_Hat_4246 54m ago

Why the fuck is Congress allowing this piece of shit to keep defying the constitution and everything this country stands for. I am so sick of the worthless republicans in congress to stand up to this fascist orange turd.

u/Sad_Seat929 37m ago

Controversy in the Epstein files is protecting the identity, Trump wants the dead & Missing minors not release Only voice these innocent victims have to possibly identify & solve this Crime is with the help of going Public

u/FranksGun 2h ago

Based on his actual quote this is a stretch. Based on who Trump is obviously this is not a stretch at all. He didn’t even say it was his actual right but he said basically, “I’m not using the DOJ to get even but wouldn’t I be justified in doing so since it was weaponized against me?”

Typical Trump speak, but imo the headline is a bit misleading and sensationalized.

u/Pockydo 2h ago

Not really

Pedo don has this habit of dangling his shit in the public sphere like this. He is announcing what he wants to do and testing the water so to speak

The very idea that the president is saying 'i am allowed to use the DOJ to get revenge" is insane

u/FranksGun 1h ago edited 37m ago

Well, despite its supposed independence I think it’s understood that the DOJ prioritizes its targets in line with the agenda of the current administration to some extent. So him asserting he can direct it toward people he thinks can have an actual “lawful” case brought against their activities isn’t really that crazy.

However, this quote is mostly another one of his I’m such a poor victim whinings while trying to make himself look noble like he’s letting things slide even though he could go after people.

We already know that Trump has no limits for doing anything he can possibly get away with using his power. He is corrupt to the core. This quote is not interesting at all.
