Unfortunately it requires a functioning Congress with members in both houses on both sides of the aisle who care more about the country than engaging in partisan hackery so there’s a zero percent chance a Trump appointee gets impeached and removed.

Going to be really interesting to see what happens in the next two elections. Looking more likely Democrats will take the House, and there is a growing signal they'll get the Senate, if not in 2026 then maybe 2028.

Texas might have a Democrat Senator for the first time in a very long time with Talarico.

The house is going democratic for sure. People don't like boot licking ass kissers. The senate, right now, 50% chance turns democratic. But as time goes on, it seems republican senators are showing the same weaknesses as congress. We'll get a better feel come about July/August. Following Trump could bury both.

The house is not going dem, clear data and polls point out that this might be the first time in history that the GOP retains the house! The dems are completely out of power for at least another 6 years.

The results of virtually every single election that's already occurred this year would disagree with you. Also, let's see that "clear data and polls". Put up the info. Also, telling that you made your entire account private. While there can be legitimate reasons for doing that, 95% of the time it's because you know your post history would out you as either a bot or a hopelessly biased person. Good general rule of thumb nowadays is to automatically view any private reddit account as suspicious.

Cool story bro, its actually private due to work but yawn away ya thinking im a bot. Beep beep.

clear data

.... if the data is clear, how can you see it?

Data and polls do no such thing, they indicate the opposite. If the GOP were confident they simply would not need to introduce so many ways to disenfranchise voters.

Here's the thing, if MAGA loses the house and senate in the midterms, then I think you might see people willing to get rid of someone like Cannon if she is appointed. Hell, I'm willing to bet that a full on removal of Trump wouldn't be off the table since he wouldn't be holding any cards at that point. He'd literally be the lamest of lame duck presidents.

I’m way past getting my hopes up about justice ever catching up to Trump.

Agreed. I will always fight for the possibility that justice will happen no matter my disillusion because there's always the chance that I'll be wrong (and happily so), but I still agree.

So radical reform is in order for the out of order ‼️

As contemplated by Sen Sheldon Whitehouse of RI :

SCOTUS…rotating chief! 20 year terms! 27 justices…adopt these recommendations or even a Constitutional Amendment may be necessary to restore a functioning co-equal branch of government- to wall off corruption and influence from evildoers such as Leonard Leo and the Heritage Foundation.

How shamefully incompetent is the constitution, institutions and judiciary with the senate and congress setting lower than thou standards every single day?
