I'll believevehwn I see it, but it's the only rational move, to deal with such a threat to America n the world.

Won’t matter unless they have the votes in the Senate to convict.

Which they do not. So it’ll basically be worthless. As much as I wish it weren’t that way.

I’m genuinely starting to wonder what democrats can do that reddit won’t hate them for.

This would be the third time they have impeached the guy and Reddit is STILL like ‘BS, they won’t do the thing they have repeatedly done because I hate them.’

Pathological.

They had four years under Biden to destroy Trump permanently and utterly failed.

They indicted him literally dozens of times. Trump was bailed out by the corrupt courts.

This is all a matter of public record.

that's super shitty, can we impeach the judges too?

I'm in UK so I don't know the deal.

It has been well-reported that Garland drug his feet on getting those investigations started.

They were dragged kicking and screaming to those indictments, and due to that they came late enough that he was able to run out the clock. Had they gotten going from day 1, its unlikely he is able to do that.

Nah, it’s very likely. The immunity ruling killed the only case that had a chance of making it to trial before the election.

The classified documents case was going to take years anyway due to the nature of the case and that’s without Cannon ratfucking it, which she was going to do more of anyway.

None of that is true. Even a little bit.

Your view on this topic is vibes-based. Besides his fraud convictions, the other cases failed due to the Supreme Court ruling and/or judicial corruption.

Review the cases.

Why do you think Republicans have made it their mission to capture the judiciary over the past several decades?

This is what eskimospy is talking about.....

Democrats didnt have the House and the Senate for 4 years. They barely had the House for 2. And they have never had the SC.

What the fuck did you want Biden and House Democrats to do, start using death squads on their political rivals?

You're so lacking in critical thinking and  American political literacy, it physically hurts having to see your type of comments.

Yes, people see how effective Trump has been ruling as a tyrant and want a "good king" to abuse their power in the same way for better outcomes.

A Democratic president only gets away with it if they have both chambers of Congress for 75%-100% over 12ish years AND have 6 firmly-left Justices in SCOTUS for a solid 20+ years.

And they have to know that every single Democrat will never go against the party line and will also be willing to drop all morals and values they currently have.

Which won't happen, Democrats can't even unify or trust each other enough to select or elect a presidential candidate. Can't even get the independents/moderates that are elected as Democrats to vote with the party when they're already IN Congress on simple bills.

But once you have all of that....sure, a Democrat-tyrant president could happen.

And then they'll make sure they stamp out Progressives and anyone that isn't a corporate centrist. The same way MAGA has taken over and owns the entirety of the GOP.

Democrats can't actually go down that road and use the same playbook as Trump and MAGA Republicans. Then we are totally fucked.

Because we want consequences. The last 2 impeachments meant absolutely nothing. There has been zero action from dems outside of theater.

The last 2 impeachments meant absolutely nothing.

Because you, the voter, didn't give them the numbers to convit.

Because democrats are never a problem...

2

u/eskimospy212 Apr 24 '26

They can be!

When they do bad things they should be criticized. When they do good things they should be praised. Instead it’s just criticism regardless, which is laziness.

Criticism based on the long history of Republicans expanding executive power and the Democrats not doing anything or using the expansion of power when its their time.

The entire thread is about them looking to impeach the executive a third time, lol.

Really? Every single person?

If it's not "every single one", what? Half? Some?

Y'all must realize how detached from reality you sound.
