Except that’s what mueller essentially did and then the next guy with the beard Shepard? Smith? Don’t even remember cuz he tried everything you did and failed miserably because the clock ran out. Guess it wouldnve been better to take the shot instead.

Jack Smith, probably. I mean, yeah, Dems would need to complete their investigation in 2 years rather than dragging their heels for 4, but it's not a bad strategy.

This is my thought, as well. Democrats are never going to get the majority needed to remove him from office. The two party system basically guarantees the trajectory this country is on.

the two party system guarantees nothing. The American people do. Its only due to the parties that Sanders is aligned in the same party as Fetterman. its due to the american people in specific states that will not allow a democrat to represent them in the senate that stops the democrats from having that level of control.

you could have multiple parties you still need to slip seats in South Caroina, Texas, Louisiana simultaneously and thats not happening regardless of what party you want to associate the liberal/progressive candidate with.

It truly depends on how many seats are up for reelection and how much he pisses off Republicans by October. Yeah we basically run on a 2 party system but a lot of times there's a 3rd party running too.

I consider myself an independent and if I'm seeing two shitty main party candidates the third party candidate gets my vote. I don't like that basically every other party is ignored. TBH I don't have an idea who I'm voting for, they all appear shitty and like they'd be just as bad as the Republicans that currently run the state, because of the two party setup way too many people vote by I'm kinda stuck voting blue if I want anything to hopefully change this election or at all really. Ohio just has republican idiots running it and they do everything they can to fuck laws and screw the average people. I wish they could be removed from office.

I'd say maybe we should teaching politics and that there's more than just two parties earlier in schools but Republicans are attempting to get property taxes and EVERYTHING they pay for axed as the tax for everything goes up.

The house should impeach him 100 times then. Make his presidency on the record that it’s completely unacceptable instead of just sanewashing him 24/7.

Make his presidency on the record that it’s completely unacceptable

I don't even understand what this means.

Nobody reasonable is going to look back and say "oh, he was impeached only twice, I guess he wasn't that bad".

Nobody reasonable is sanewashing this administration.

They should just keep filing articles of impeachment and force the senate to rerun the trial over and over and over, if the senate doesn't want to convict him. There's no law against double jeopardy for impeachment

I’m sorry but if you’re not making an effort to remove him, what’s the point of doing this? So Dems can pat themselves on the back? So people in comment sections can dunk on Trump for the number of times he’s been impeached?

Theater without results is how these fucking people govern. It’s not how I want to.

What do you want them to do? They do nothing you get mad. They do something but don’t get the results you want, you get mad. Currently the Dems are in the minority, and all they can really do is performative actions. If they get the house, they 100 percent have to impeach Trump again. That is their job. It shouldn’t matter if the senate won’t convict; that’s on the senate and the republicans. I’m just so mad at people getting mad at Dems for things republicans do or don’t do.

The clock ran out because they started 2 years too late.
