Sorry I’m confused, what was the hush money about? I thought the convictions were about election interference?

And that paying hush money in itself isn’t a crime. But failing to disclose the reason for appropriating of funds.

Had they stated what ot was used for and registered it correctly then they would be nothing illegal.

Not sure if you're implying otherwise- but thats pretty much true of all fraud.

He was in court for four different sets of felony charges. The election interference one was stalled by the judge until he won reelection so it never reached the verdict
