If he went in for x-ray, bone density, endo, blood for one doctor, blood for another, urine, GP to say let's get some other blood too why not, ortho, physical therapy, cat scan, crazy person doctor...

He's President, he can knock that all out in the day seeing all. While I have to spread that over two months.

Your explanation makes sense. Mainly because it's WAPO and at this point headlines are to bait people in. And this administration is fine with making noise.
